I spent the last four years training under Baoshan. All in that time, I gained immortality, and I have learned my true potential as a Yin and Yang master. I no longer wore my black and red robes, but I wore Baoshan's white and black robes, or her light colored disciple robes. Occasionally would I go back to my black robes but I wanted to try something new and different.

(Shi Ying's appearance is what I am going for in this book. I am I'll explain my reasons at the end of the chapter but it makes for an interesting plot)

During these four yours, I still have my mischievous habits but I have really settled down as well. As I thought about never associating with the outside world again, the confinement actually made things more quiet but I didn't mind. I had Baoshan and Xiao Xingchen. Recently, a letter somehow reached Baoshan about Gusu holding another guest lecture for a few months. They wanted to give me the opportunity to have a fresh start. I agreed to go but Xiao Xingchen and his cultivation partner Song Lan also were to come.

"If anything happens, you know how to reach me," Baoshan said.

I nodded, "I know, I understand," I said, "I will not be to tough on them as I am a lot stronger than them now, and I promise to try and not to piss off the old man."

"I think that is inevitable," Baoshan said, "send a bird messenger to me when you are settled in."

"Mnn," I replied and soon teleported out with Xiao Xingchen and Song Lan.

We went straight to Cloud Recesses, "invitation please," the guard requested.

I handed it to them, "am I free to go?" I asked.

The guard handed the invitation back to me and allowed me to pass. I then led us to the main courtyard where the Elegance room and the Orchid room were located. I decided to go say hello as it has been some time. I saw that both Zewu Jun and Lan Er Gongzi were with Lan Qiren in the lecture hall.

"Zewu Jun, we meet again," I said entering the room and bowed to them as a formal greeting. The three Lans looked at me and just stared for a good minute or two, "it seems that you three are still not good on your communication skills."

"Wei Gongzi?" Zewu Jun questioned and walked up to me and even around me, checking out my form, "you look so different."

"But of course, I spent the past four years training under my grandmother, so it is only natural that I am bound to change in the process," I replied, "these two with me are my Shishu, Xiao Xingchen and his cultivation partner Song Lan."

"It is nice to meet you both and we hope you three have a nice stay here during our guest lectures," Lan Qiren said.

"Mnn," I hummed with a nod and looked at Lan Wangji, "Lan Er Gongzi, still staring, am I that pretty?"

"Nonsense," he huffed once I got his attention.

"Of course," I said, "if you three will excuse us, we will be heading to our guest rooms."

"Would you like someone to escort you?" Zewu Jun asked.

"I think we can manage," I said as I stepped out of the Orchid room. Song Lan and Xiao Xingchen followed me out, "bye for now."

About a third of the way to our guest room, I was stopped by someone. I wasn't actually expecting him to want to talk to me again after our previous encounters. I still have a small grudge against him for his words towards me.

"A'Xian?" Xingchen asked.

"The guest room isn't far, I will meet up with you two in a moment," I said.

"Alright," they said and left me alone with him.

I then let out a sigh and looked at him, "Lan Er Gongzi, what can I do for you? Do you want vengeance upon me after I stabbed your brother four years ago? Or are you here to tell me I am still the most annoying person on the planet?" I asked.

He didn't look me in the eyes, "I do not wish to seek vengeance," he said, "I wish to apologize for my words towards you back then. They were hurtful and disrespectful and I am sorry."

"Apology accepted," I said and turned to leave but was stopped by him as he grabbed my arm, "Lan Er Gongzi, what is it?"

"You accept the apology but do you forgive me?" He asked.

"I do not," I replied, "it will take more than a simple 'I am Sorry' to gain my forgiveness. I am not the same Wei Wuxian you knew from back then. I am completely different and at the moment, you are invading my personal space."

He furrowed his brow and let me go before taking a step back, "what will it take?" He asked.

I scoffed, "nothing, I desire nothing. I tried to be a friend to you, even when I was in the most amount of emotional pain, I tried to be friends with you, but you shoved me away. Now you are standing here, asking for forgiveness when you have done nothing to earn it. Even trying to get close to me. If I was the opposite sex you would be violating your sect principles. Now, I would like to get to my guest room. Is there anything else you would like to say?"

He shook his head.

"Alright," I said and started to leave, I stopped and looked at him one last time, "by the way, you still do not have my permission to call me by my birth name. It is Wei Gongzi or Wei Wuxian to you."

After that was said, I left him standing there fairly shocked by my response. He should have expected it. If it was four years ago and I wasn't pushed to my breaking point, I would have given in and forgiven him but I am not that person. He needs to prove to me that he wants to make an effort on being my friend and actually show me that he is sorry. I will do the same for stabbing Zewu Jun back then.

I've so been looking for an opportunity to have Wei Wuxian dress similar to Shi Ying from The Longest Promise. This story gives me the perfect chance. So after spending those four years with Baoshan, his look and personality will be very similar to Shi Ying. As it gives me some new ideas.
