Navya's pov

Tomorrow is Shiva's engagement. I heard this from my co-employees.  I don't know who is that bride. But I can tell one thing she's the luckiest one in this world. Yesterday I saw him in the canteen after two weeks. My co-worker says about their marriage shopping. I thought about my marriage shopping those days are heaven for me. We didn't express our feeling's to each other but we know how strong our love is. But I spoilt everything

I always thought he hated me to the core after I broke his trust.. But, no my assumption is wrong. He loves me like before even more. I saw his love for me on his eyes.. That time I felt cloud nine after all these things he never change his love for me. Also this makes me feel selfish I felt bad for that girl who shiva is going to married. I wish him true happy with his future partner.. I sighed

My thoughts are cut by Piya. Hey what are you thinking?she asked me.

Mmm......nothing, I said

Don't act girl. Try to overcome from this stupid past Navi, she said placing her hand on my shoulder

I didn't said anything. That time Dev went to hug Piya. I missed him a lot

Hii Aunty, he said.

Hey.... Call me sissy or piya. Don't call me like this I'm not that old, Piya said

You're absolutely old aunty, he said

Hey.... I'm looking more younger than your mom, Piya said

No my mom looking more younger than you. She's beautiful too, he said playfully. I felt content

Look Navi! he is making fun of me, she said with faking anger

I smiled. She joined me too

you think he's in anger with yout. But here he's supporting you,  Piya said

Who said I'm talking about her, Dev said pointing towards me

Hey... Don't act. I know you love your mom but pretending to be angry on her, piya said

Of course I love my mom but not her, he said

My whole world just destroyed after hearing his words.... I don't know when I started crying.. Until it fell on my hand. We both are too shocked to react something

What are you talking Dev? Krish yelled at him. I don't know when he came

Dad, Dev said

Tell me what are you blabbering? Krish asked

Yes she's not my mom, Dev said

That's it I shattered completely. The only reason for my life Dev. But now....... I run into my room

Piya knocked the door and shouted, hey... Navi open your door. What are you doing? You know him right he didn't mean anything. Just open your door Navi

Navya open your door otherwise I will break it you idiot, Krish too shouted. They both said lot of things but it doesn't register in mind. My mind only rewind Dev words

Is he too hated me? Or anyone said something to him?? What I will do? If he knows...... I can't imagine those things it's better to leave this World before. My thoughts are stopped by Dev's voice.

Mammaa maa maa, Dev said and started to crying

I immediately rsn into the door and opened it. Dev hugged my legs too tightly

I kneeled down to his height he hugged me.

I'm.......sorry maaa. I didn't.....mean anything. I'm sorry ......I hurt ......you..., He said those in between his tears

No kanna, I said and kissed his cheeks..

I'm sorry maa.. Don't leave new, he said

Yeah who said I'm going to leave you Dev. I'm your maa how can I leave my kuttyy(baby), I said

Then only he stops his crying. I too felt happy for his love for me. But I want too know why he said those words.

That full day he never leave me a second. After a long days I slept thhat too hugged Dev.

Next day

Today's Sunday.  At 11 we went outing this time Piya too joined with us. Evening 5 we came back to home. Krish dropped us and went to hospital with Piya

Me and Dev went to freshen up. He doesn't leave me and started to share his things. He usually share his things  before going to bed with me. Now he's fulfilling last two weeks. I'm not complaining at all. Using that time I started to asked my questions

Dev what do you mean yesterday? I asked

What ma? He asked

That......I'm not your mom like that, I said

Don't you forgive me maa, he asked fearfully

Heyy..... It's not like that baby.. I just asked... Okay let's leave that topic... Tell me what do you want for dinner, I said

He didn't replied. I sighed. I lifted him and placed on my lap

Hmm.. It's okay Dev. It's not your fault it's mine. I can't see your sadness chellam( love) , I said

He hugged me and said, I meant you're not like that before. In Australia you spending all of your time with me. But now you didn't have time to spend with me. Sometimes you forget my things. That's why I said that you're not my mom. I love my old  maa who's always stays with me. I miss those days maa, he said silently.

A sudden guiltiness covered my face. Because of Shiva's thought I forget my baby. He miss me a lot...

Sorry kutty(baby), I said looking down

No maa you're just busy with your work but I take it us so serious and hurt you with my words....Sorry maa, he said. I placed a kiss on his forehead

Maa loves you a lot Dev, I said

Me too maa, he said

Aiiish! so emotional, someone said.. I looked back

There's Krish parents, his sister and her husband were standing

I went to them. Namaste uncle,Aunty, I said and touched their feet for blessing

They didn't looked at me at all.. Uncle lift Dev and placed kiss in his cheeks.

Hai grandpa and grandma, he said smilingly

Hai Dev beta, they said

That time Krish and Piya also came. They too startled and Krish went to them get a blessing from them. They're talking normally.

Krish sister Jeevika hugged me..

Hey... What are you waiting for? go and prepared dinner for us.. Don't you  know basic manners.., Aunty said

Maa, krish said

I didn't yelled your wife. I just said the normal things. She doesn't know how to behaves  with her in-laws at all, Aunty said. I looked at Krish and shaked my head to make him silent

I went to Kitchen and prepare dinner for us. As usual Piya complaint them with me.

After dinner we went to all.

Hey.... Don't you know how to cook at all. How can my son and grandson used to eat your food? That's why they look so weak, Aunty said

Come on maa don't be a typical mother- in -law. And her cooking is too good to complain, jeevika said

Shut up. You don't know anything, Aunty said

Other than Jeevika no one like me. My mother-in-law never leave a chance to insult me.

After some time. Dev said to me, come maa we went to our room. I felt sleepy

Still you guys are sharing your room with Dev? too bad, Jeevika said teasingly

No aunty me and mom sharing a room, Dev said

That's it. His whole family looked at me like alien.

What's this Krish? Aunty asked

Maa that... he's blabbering in sleep. He  usually stays alone in his room now he's staying with Piya. He's just pestering Navi to stay with him today. Don't overreact mom, Krish said

Piya take Krish to your room, he said alarming to her. She lifted Dev as he already in his half sleep and left to their room. They went to guest rooms..

Me and Krish went to Krish room. We sighed.

Sorry Navi, he said looking down

Hey... It's okay. Take it easy, I said

This time they're staying  more than week Navi, he said

It's okay... Let's act as usual, I said

Okay! you take bed and I went to sofa, he said

Don't joke Krish. For your kind information no sofa can cover your gigantic frame, I said teasingly

Hey I'm just 6.2ft, he said.

You're freaking 6.2ft Krish, I said

Hey.. Don't tease, he said

I take sofa, I said and sat on the sofa with pillow and cover.

Sorry Navya, he said again

Don't overreact Krish, I said smilingly
