For some reason, I just realized that Tanaka's name is the same as Tanaka-kun from Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge lol.

And no, she's not supposed to be Tanaka-kun, it's a coincidence! XD

Nagisa's POV

I looked at Yamaguchi-kun in front of me. We were supposed to clean the class after school today, as we are the student councils...

We were also asked to make the schedule for the cleaning duties soon.

"U-um..." I said, not knowing what to say. "Let's work together from here on out, Yamaguchi-kun."

He looked at me and said, "Yeah. Same here."

"T-then, I'll clean the blackboard." I said as I walked towards the blackboard.

"Yeah."

I started cleaning the blackboard.

"Guess I'll clean the floor." He said.

"Okay." I replied.

After we cleaned our class, we were allowed to go home. I already texted Karma to let him know I couldn't go home with him today.

Of course, he did complain and whine, but I promised to go home with him tomorrow.

"Thanks for the hard work..." I said awkwardly.

"Yeah." Then he went out.

"Boy... We sure are stiff with each other..." I thought after he left. I should maintain a good relationship with him, since I'll be working with him for this year.

"I should get going too."

I grabbed my bag and went downstairs to the shoe lockers. There, I found my two friends, waiting on the floor.

"Ah! Nagisa-chan! You done with your work?" Tanaka-san said as she looked over to me.

I was surprised. "You two... Why are you still here?"

"W-well... It felt wrong to leave without you so... W-we waited." Shiraishi-san said.

I smiled, "Why would it feel wrong?"

Tanaka-san jumped from the floor, "'Cause! We've been walking home together this whole time! It feels weird without you..." She pouted.

I walked towards them and smiled, "Thanks!"

I changed my shoes and we walked outside.

"By the way..." Tanaka-san started. "Why are you still calling us by our last names?"

Shiraishi-san nodded, "Yeah, yeah!"

"Eh?"

Tanaka-san pedaled in front of us, "I mean, we've been calling you by your first name. Don't you think it's a bit unfair?"

"J-just call us by our first names!" Shiraishi-san said.

I went quiet and then smiled, "Okay then, Arisa-san, Chiyuki-san!"

"Not good enough!!" Arisa-san said.

"H-huh?"

"You're still adding the 'san' to our names!"

I sweat dropped, "Then... Arisa-chan and Chiyuki-chan."

"That's more like it!" Arisa-san, I mean Arisa-chan said.

"Now we're all equal!" Chiyuki-chan said.

I smiled.

"I have really good friends..."

-Time skip-

"Excuse me!" I said as I entered the faculty office.

"Ah, Shiota-san!" Fujisaki-sensei said. "Please take these to the Nurse's Office. The nurse is feeling quite sick so she didn't come today. Ironic, huh?" She laughed.

"These are supposed to be there by today." She gave me some medicine.

"Okay, I'll take them there." I smiled.

"Thank you!"

I exited the faculty office, "Excuse me!"

I walked to the Nurse's Office. I slid the door and went inside.

I put the medicine in the cabinet. "There we go."

Just as I was about to leave, I noticed someone on one of the beds.

...Red?

"Don't tell me..."

I peered into the curtains to see a familiar red head sleeping on the bed.

"K-Karma!? What in the world is he doing here!?"

I shook him, "Karma! Karma!!"

Soon the red head groaned and opened one eye. "Nagisa?"

"What are you doing here!?" I asked him in a panic-y tone.

He sat up, now wide awake, "Well, I got suspended because I got into too much trouble recently."

I sweat dropped. "This guy..."

"So then I decided to go here." He said plainly while smiling.

"How did you get in here without getting seen!? You'll be in bigger trouble if you get caught!!" I said to him.

He said, "I got in from the window. Since there was a tree near it, I used that."

"How did you get past the gates?"

"I didn't. I climbed the wall, haha~" He said, looking proud of what he did.

I sweat dropped, unable to believe what's happening.

"You're lucky the nurse isn't in today..." I said as I sighed.

"I was bored!" He said.

He then pulled me and wrapped his arms around me, "Besides, I wanted to see you."

I blushed, trying so hard not to hug back.

But my arms didn't listen to me. "I'm not listening to you, mind! Go hug him back, Nagisa!"

...And then my arms hugged him back.

"It's so lonely if you're not around..." Karma said as he tightened his hug. "I couldn't help it~"

I looked at him.

He had a carefree smile on his face. Like he didn't have a care for the world.

I buried my face in his shoulder, "Geez... You can be really troublesome, you know?"

"Sometimes I don't know why I fell in love with this boy out of all people."

"But you know you love me~"

I smiled, "I do."

"But I don't regret it."

He put his hand on my cheek and pulled me closer to him. Slowly, our lips connected.

I kissed him back, holding his shirt. It was so warm, I wanted it to be like this forever...

"I don't regret it one bit..."

-Time skip-

Arisa's POV

I looked over to Nagisa-chan's desk. Not there.

How rare of her not to be in class in class sessions...

"Shiota-san isn't here?" Fujisaki-sensei asked.

"Nope." Ebihara-san said. "Wonder where she is..."

"Hm..." Fujisaki-sensei said. "Last time I saw her was when I asked her to get some medicine to the Nurse's Office..."

She looked at me and said, "Tanaka-san, would you check the Nurse's Office to see if she's there?"

I stood up, "Okay!"

I then walked out of my class. I could hear everyone's murmuring.

"Shiota-san missing class? I hope she's okay." One said.

"I didn't think she would ever skip class!" Another said jokingly.

I walked towards the Nurse's Office. I opened the door, "Nagisa-chan~ You here?"

No response.

I took a peek on the bed. "W-whoa!!"

I saw Akabane-kun sleeping with Nagisa-chan on the bed!!

Akabane-kun was wrapping his arms around her body and head, while Nagisa-chan was holding his shirt.

I blushed, "Too cute!!" They looked so peaceful. I didn't want to disturb them at all.

I'm not even gonna ask why Akabane-kun is here! I need to take pictures!!

After taking about 10 pictures of them, I smiled and walked out.

I went back, where class has already started. "Ah, Tanaka-san. Was she there?" Fujisaki-sensei asked me while all the other students looked at me.

I smiled, "She was there. She said she was feeling sick, and that she was sorry to be missing class."

"Oh, I see. There's nothing we can do about it then. Let's let her rest." She said.

"Yes." I replied.

"Take your seat and open your book to page 68, Tanaka-san."

"Okay!" I happily walked to my seat.
