Nagisa's POV

The sound of birds chirping greeted me as I opened my eyes.

My room was bright, even though my curtains still served as a border between the sunlight. I felt glad today was a Sunday. I'm feeling lazy.

I turned my body, making me see the calendar on my bedside table in my line of vision. "Sunday, February 13th".

Ah...

Tomorrow is Valentine's.

I suddenly remembered that I needed to make chocolates for everyone. It looks like I'll be going to the supermarket today.

What should I make this year?

-Time skip-

It's Monday, and I can already see the girls whispering and giggling to each other as I walked. The guys also looked like they were anticipating chocolates, nudging each other.

Some looked kind of down, saying how they didn't like Valentine's Day. One of those people is Arisa-chan.

"Today's Valentine's, huh?" She sighed. "I don't have anyone I like, so it's so insignificant to me..."

She then showed a smile, "At least I get tomo choco! And I get to give everyone, too!"

Chiyuki-chan smiled, "Let's give them at lunchtine."

We decided to go with Chiyuki-chan's plan.

When it was lunchtime, we went to the rooftop as usual. It was just the three of us today.

It also seemed like Yamaguchi-kun was bombarded by girls earlier in the class.

I prayed for his safety.

I can give him his share of chocolates once the fangirls die down.

"Here ya go!" Arisa-chan gave me and Chiyuki-chan choclate that has been wrapped in decorative paper. It contained two chocolate hearts in it.

She leaned in and whispered, "Don't tell anyone, but, I've actually just melted pre made chocolate and mixed in some marshmallows."

"Ahaha..." We sweat dropped.

Chiyuki-chan gave us a plastic bag too, but a bit bigger. They had chocolate chip cookies in them. "They're not much, I had to use whatever was in the house..." She fiddled with her fingers.

"They look really good!" Arisa took a look at the plastic bag in her hands.

It was Nagisa's turn to give them chocolates. She gave them a plastic bag that had a chocolate muffin in it.

Arisa-chan's eyes sparkled as she looked at the bag with delight. "Nagisa-chan's muffins!? I sure am gonna enjoy this later!"

"These look great...!" Chiyuki-chan followed.

I smiled at the two, who looked captivated by a simple-looking muffin. "Thanks!"

Arisa suddenly looked away and pouted. "I bet every couple at school is gonna go on a date today... Or maybe even sing karaoke and go somewhere romantic...!?"

Nagisa looked at her. "Do couples really do that?"

The peach-haired girl beside her spoke, "Well, it is that time of the year..."

"The only thing that's good for me during Valentine's is that there's a lot of chocolate and sweets everywhere that are discounted," Arisa-chan let out another sigh as she looked at the sky. "But then again, some of those discounts are for couples only..."

We stayed quiet for a few seconds.

"Nagisa-chan, what do you usually do with Akabane-kun?" Arisa-chan's question made me stop eating my bento.

"Eh?" I blushed as I looked at my friend.

She leaned closer, a sudden smirk on her face. "Or rather... How far have you gone with him?"

My cheeks heated up even more hearing her bold and straightforward question. "W-what...!?"

Chiyuki-chan looked like she was on the verge of exploding. "A-A-Arisa-chan!" She covered her cheeks.

"Ehehe... Just joking!" Arisa-chan moved away from me. "I got you good, didn't I?"

She smiled, "But really though, I was just curious."

Chiyuki-chan started telling her that she shouldn't ask questions like that in broad daylight. Arisa-chan responded by sticking out her tongue.

"...The neck." I said quietly as I blushed madly, looked down at my bento.

I felt the two look at me with confused looks.

"...A kiss on the neck. That's how far we've gone." I raised my voice a little, and even that was still difficult to hear.

"Kya...!" Arisa-chan blushed as she put her hands on both her cheeks.

Chiyuki-chan said nothing while her face was red, too. She looks like she's stammering a little.

I guess they didn't expect me to answer. But seeing their reactions was kind of funny.

...Did I get influenced by Karma?

Arisa-chan shook her head from side-to-side. "Oh, that's so cute!"

My two friends started shaking me excitedly. "Hehe..." I laughed quietly to myself.

-Time skip-

Third Person View

It was after school, and Nagisa was preparing to go home. She had waited the whole day for a chance to give Yamaguchi his share of chocolates.

And it seemed like his wave of fangirls had died down for the day.

Nagisa approached Yamaguchi, his share of a muffin already behind her back. "Yamaguchi-kun!"

Yamaguchi stopped what he was doing and looked at the bluenette. "Shiota-san."

Nagisa noticed the overwhelming amount of chocolate on his desk. She figured he was figuring out how to fit all of them in his school bag. "Seems like you got a lot this year, huh?"

"Yeah," Yamaguchi looked at the pile. "I'll probably give them to Iyo."

Thinking of Iyo, he took pity on whoever received chocolates from her.

The shorter girl looked at him with a smile, "I think you should eat them. They've given it to you, after all. And they mustered up the courage to actually give it to you."

"I suppose," Yamaguchi looked at her. "But I don't think I have a big enough sweet tooth to finish it all like you."

Nagisa blushed, "Eh!? Um..." She was startled by his comment. Did she have that big of a sweet tooth?

Seeing her reaction, Yamaguchi smiled a little.

"A-anyway..." Nagisa took out her muffin. "Here. It's your share."

Yamaguchi took the plastic out of her hands in into his own.

"I wanted to make something different this year."

The blonde must admit, he'll eat anything made by Nagisa. And a lot of other guys must be anticipating chocolates from her, so he's one of the lucky few. "Thanks, Shiota-san."

He looked at the well-made muffin in the plastic. "What I want isn't obligatory chocolate..."

"What I want is..." He looked at Nagisa, earning a questioning look from her.

Honmei chocolates.

Yamaguchi took a look at her. "Could it be that..."

"Ah, I have to go now. See you, Yamaguchi-kun!" Nagisa hurried off.

"...She doesn't see me as a man!?" Yamaguchi sweat dropped as he looked at the running girl.

He gave her one last look before continuing to play Tetris in his bag.

Meanwhile, Nagisa

Nagisa was meeting up with Karma as usual.

They would always spend Valentine's either in her house or his house. This year, they were spending it in Karma's house.

She sat down on the chair. There was one last person she hadn't given chocolate to.

"Here, drink up," Karma put down cups of tea on the table before sitting down.

"Thanks." She took a sip.

Nagisa noticed small boxes of chocolate in Karma's bag. "You got even more chocolates this year, huh?"

"I guess I did." He replied.

Seeing Nagisa sipping her tea quietly with her eyes looking down, he smirked as he put his head on his fist.

"Hmm? What's wrong, Nagisa~?"

"N-nothing!" Her cheeks went red.

"Jealous, aren't we?"

"No!" She shook her head violently, being careful not to drop the teacup.

Karma chuckled with a sneer on his face. Oh, how he loved to tease his girlfriend.

After Nagisa took a few sips, she put the teacup back down. "Alright." She said quietly.

Karma was surprised because she stood up and started walking. "Hm? Where are you going?"

"The kitchen is free, right?"

Karma looked at her. "Well, yeah."

Nagisa stopped by the door and turned her head at him. She only smiled at him before walking out.

The red-head looked at her before deciding to follow behind.

He smirked, "A Valentine's gift, huh?"

About an hour had passed, and Karma can suddenly smell the scent of chocolate lingering in the air.

He put down the DS he was playing and sat up on the couch. The smell was distracting him.

"It's almost done!" He could hear Nagisa from the kitchen.

After a few minutes, she came out of the kitchen with a plate in hand. Karma went to the table and looked at the dessert she put on it.

"I wanted to try something different this year..." Nagisa fiddled with her fingers. "I tried making a lava cake."

The red haired boy sat down on a chair and smiled, "It looks great."

He took the fork and started eating it. With one cut, chocolate was oozing out of the cake. The warm chocolate made it even more enjoyable.

It wasn't too sweet, either.

"How is it?" Nagisa leaned in, her eyes wide and curious.

"It tastes great!" Karma gave her a smile.

He could hear Nagisa's sigh of relief as he said that.

"Want some?" He offered her a slice. "You made it, after all~"

"E-eh?" Nagisa looked at him. "No, it's fine! It's for Karma, after all..." She stammered.

"Here, eat it." He moved closer.

Nagisa was reluctant at first, but took the slice he offered anyway.

"Wow, it's good..." It sounded like she was praising herself, but really she needed to thank the person who made the recipe she found online.

"It's good, right?" Karma looked at Nagisa who was enjoying the cake. He chuckled a little because she got a little bit of chocolate on the side of her mouth.

"What made you make me a cake?" He questioned. "Usually you give me ordinary chocolate."

"Well..." Nagisa looked away. "I heard that other couples sometimes do this. And that they go have a picnic or whatever... I guess I wanted us to try it out."

Karma gazed at Nagisa with a smile. "You don't really need to do all this. I'll be happy with whatever you make me."

"Really?" Nagisa tilted her head. "I've also heard that they go to a cafe and eat dinner. Do you want to..."

"No," Karma leaned in closer to her and licked the chocolate near her lips. "Let's just stay here."

The girl blushed at his actions.

"I don't really care what the others do," Karma smiled. "I only care about what we like to do. So don't worry too much about that stuff, okay?"

His genuine and soothing voice caught Nagisa off guard. "W-well... If you say so."

"Besides, why go to a cafe when I can just dress you up as a waitress?"

"!!" Nagisa's eyes widened.

"And we can have way more fun in my house than go outside, right~?"

Nagisa started glaring at Karma while laughing, giving him a playful punch on his arm. "Karma!! You're the worst!"

Seeing him stick his tongue out, she smiled. "Geez..."

Karma stood up and walked towards her. He gave her a kiss on the forehead, "Thanks for the gift, Nagisa."

Phew, that was quite a long one...

For those of you who don't know, "tomo choco" are chocolates that are given to friends, co-workers, neighbors, and such.

"Honmei choco" are chocolates that are given to boys who they truly like and have special feelings for.

"Obligatory chocolates" are chocolates that are given to males that you don't necessarily like, and that the chocolates have no special feeling in them. So it's like saying "lol here it's for you cuz I feel bad you didn't get any"

Except that concept doesn't really work for Yamaguchi, does it?
