Nagisa's POV

Fujisaki-sensei went up front and spoke. "Okay, everyone, quiet down!" She shouted.

Everyone in the class took their seats.

She said, "Okay, so you all may or you may not know that we're going to choose the class representatives today."

What she said made everyone whisper and murmur.

"Now, this is a very big deal. You all will have to choose 2 students, male and female, to be the class representative. Choose wisely, they will be leading you all in the future." She explained.

A boy, I think his name is Takahashi-kun, raised his hand and happily said, "I vote for Shiota-san!!"

Hearing that, I looked at him, "Eh?"

Another boy stood up, "I agree!!"

A girl, Kasa-san, then said, "Then, the guy representative should be Yamaguchi-kun!!"

The girls all agreed, "Yeah, yeah!!"

"I refuse." A cold voice suddenly said.

I looked at the source and saw Yamaguchi-kun with his head resting on his hand.

"Aw, come on, Yamaguchi-kun! You're really fit to be the class representative!" One of the girls said.

"I refuse." He said once again.

"Okay, okay!" Fujisaki-sensei shouted while clapping her hands a few times. "You will all vote through paper, not shouting out the names!"

She then distributed small pieces of paper to the class.

"Now, I hope you've learnt all the names of your classmates here..." Fujisaki-sensei said.

"Um, sure we have!" Takahashi-kun said in a sarcastic tone.

I looked back at Yamaguchi-kun.

Yamaguchi Akira. People say he's aloof, but they also say he's really attractive. He has blonde hair with a short bob haircut, and sharp brown eyes. He's really smart, and he gets high grades.

He's usually quiet in class and doesn't say much aside from answering questions.

I turned my attention back to the piece of paper in front of me.

I voted for Tanimura-san and Yamaguchi-kun.

In my opinion, Yamaguchi-kun can be a really good leader. Tanimura-san is also kind and reliable.

When we were all finished, we folded our papers and passed them to the front again.

Fujisaki-sensei wrote on the chalkboard the results.

Yamaguchi Akira: 16

Shiota Nagisa: 17

Tanimura Ran: 9

Arisato Makoto: 8

...

...what?

"Alright then, Yamaguchi-kun and Shiota-san will be the class representatives. Please come to the faculty room later!" Fujisaki-sensei said while smiling.

"E-eeh!?" I thought as I looked at the results.

I looked at Yamaguchi-kun and he had the same expression I have.

But the class seemed pretty happy about it...

"Alright then, let's start our class!"

-Time skip-

I sighed as I put my books away.

Why did I get chosen? I bet Isogai-kun and Kataoka-san would do the job better...

"How nice, Nagisa~" Tanaka-san said as she walked to my desk.

Shiraishi-san also appeared, "You became the student council president! Now you're really turning into that popular and pretty girl in class!!" She said while blushing.

I sweat dropped. "Um... I'm gonna go to the faculty office now. You two can eat lunch without me."

"Hm... If you say so..." Shiraishi-san said.

"Aw... But you'll be a lot more busy now that you're the student council president!" Tanaka-san whined.

Shiraishi-san sweat dropped, "But didn't you vote for her...?"

"Well, yeah, but... This didn't cross my mind!"

I stood up, "Well, see you guys later."

I walked to the faculty office.

I entered the room, "Excuse me..."

-Time skip-

I opened the door and walked out, sighing. But I bumped into someone in the process.

"Ah, sorry..." I said while looking up.

Yamaguchi-kun was there looking down at me. He looked at me for a few seconds, looking unamused. He then entered the faculty office.

Yamaguchi-kun was giving off a cold aura. People did say he was kind of aloof...

I looked at him again before walking back to class.

Yamaguchi-kun... We've never talked before. I hope everything will go smoothly.

While walking, a baseball flew by me, coming in from the window on the right side if me. The ball made a "thump" sound as it hit the wall and dropped to the floor, rolling towards me.

"Ah, sorry!" A voice said.

I looked at the window to see a black haired boy leaning in. His hair was kind of directed to the right side, and he had brown eyes.

"Sasahara-kun." I said before I bent down to pick up the baseball from the ground.

"You like to play baseball?" I asked as I handed him the ball.

"Yeah. We're actually playing right now." He replied as he accepted the baseball.

"Another Sugino-kun?" I thought as I looked at him.

He smiled brightly, "You know, Shiota-san, I've been wanting to talk to you!" He rested his arms on the bottom of the window as he looked at me.

"Really? Why?" I said, surprised.

"Because I like you."

"You're lying." I said.

He laughed, "Wow, you can see through me? That's pretty amazing."

I smiled, "I wouldn't exactly say that..."

He smiled and said, "Well, I have to get back now. The senpais will get mad if I take too long!"

He turned back and ran while waving, "See you in class!" I waved back.

"Sasahara-kun, huh... I didn't know he liked baseball."

Sasahara Daichi is a boy in my class. This is the first time we've spoken.

"I guess things will be more different than it already is from now..."

-Another time skip-

"You're getting more and more busier everyday..." A certain red head said while resting his arms over my shoulders.

"And now the guys are all over you..." He added.

I smiled, "Don't worry. I won't ever cheat on you."

He then walked beside me. He took my chin and pulled me towards him, connecting our lips.

I blushed at his sudden movement, but kissed back anyway. He held my head and deepened the kiss.

We pulled away, our faces red.

He smiled playfully, "It's been a while since our last kiss~"

I smiled and hugged him.

"I won't ever cheat on you too, Nagisa. You're the perfect one for me~"

His words made my heart flutter. Even though it was just simple words, I couldn't help but drown in bliss.

"I'm happy..."
