Nagisa's POV

I looked at the sea as the boat sailed.

We are on our way to Yakushima. Birds are flying in the sky, small waves crashed. The boat was going at a steady speed.

I sighed, thinking about how we actually get to relax after midterms.

"Nagisa-chan! Over here!" Arisa-chan called.

I turned my head to see a camera facing towards me, then making a 'snap' sound.

"Hehe, got you!" Arisa laughed.

"H-hey!" I ran to my friend and started reaching for the camera. She held it up high, not letting me get it.

But because I'm slightly taller than her, I was able to get by jumping. "Ah! No fair!" Arisa-chan exclaimed.

I looked at the photo, about to press 'Delete' when suddenly it was once again snatched from me.

"Hehe!" Hitomi-san looked at me with a smile. "Catch, Shiori!!" She threw the camera to Nakano-san.

"Eh? Eh!?" Nakano-san caught the camera.

"B-be careful!!" Chiyuki-chan exclaimed.

Sasahara-kun waved his hands in the air. "Hey, pass it to me!"

This cycle went on for a bit before I eventually gave up. After a few hours, we could see an island in the distance.

"Okay, everyone!" Fujisaki-sensei called us. "We're almost there, please get all of your belongings and get ready!

"Please keep in mind that other schools are going to be here, so be on your best behavior!" She added.

Oh, that reminds me. Karma's boat isn't coming for another hour or so. Coincidentally, our schools will be staying in the same inn.

But even though we sleep in the same inn, we have different schedules for each day. So we can only see each other in the morning or at the end of the day.

-Time skip-

"Alright... Next we have..." Fujisaki-sensei looked at her clipboard. "Shiota-san's group! Please come and collect your key!"

"Yes!" I answered, walking to my teacher.

Fujisaki-sensei gave a key card with a number that says, "502".

I accepted the key my teacher gave me and rejoined with my group.

"Thanks for having us in this group, Nagisa-chan!" Hitomi-san joyfully exclaimed.

Nakano-san smiled, "Yeah, otherwise we would end up with people we're not close to."

"No problem!" I said.

Arisa-chan put her hands on her cheeks. "Ah... I'm so excited for tomorrow!!"

"Ah, but, since we're in different classes, we're not going to have the same schedule..." Chiyuki-chan pointed out.

I looked at the duo. "Oh yeah..."

"Aw..." Hitomi-san pouted.

Nakano-san pat Hitomi-san on the back. "Well, at least we can still hang out before we go and after we come back."

"Alright, everyone! The girls' rooms are in the third floor, and the boys' rooms are in the second floor." A teacher, Ono-sensei, shouted.

"We're leaving at 8 AM tomorrow morning! Please try not to sleep too late and make sure you wake up on time!"

"Yes!" Everyone replied.

"Alright! Let's go to our room!" Arisa-chan pushed me.

Us five walked to our room, which was on the third floor. The inn was Japanese styled, so the floor was wooden and had many decorations on the walls.

"Here it is." I unlocked the door and opened it, letting the cold air rush out.

"It seems they've let the AC on so that it'll be cold." I thought.

Arisa-chan and Hitomi-san ran in the room. "It's really nice!"

Hitomi-san started rolling on the tatami ground. "It's so spacious!!"

"Come on, don't get too excited. We have to put up the futons." Nakano-san smiled.

"I think it's in the closet..." Chiyuki-chan walked to the closet and slid it open.

We started setting up the five futons, laying them beside each other.

"I dib the edge!" Arisa-chan raised her hand.

"Eh!? Then I dib the other edge!" Hitomi-san also raised her hand.

Chiyuki-chan clenched her hands. "Ehh!?"

The order ended up being Arisa-chan, Chiyuki-chan, me, Nakano-san, and then Hitomi-san.

We then switched into our inn robes and hung out in the room.

We all started opening our suitcases.

"Did you guys bring a lot?" Arisa-chan questioned.

"No, not really." I said as I opened my suitcase.

"Me too." Nakano-san followed.

Hitomi-san opened her suitcase as well. "Me three."

Arisa-chan turned to Chiyuki-chan. "What about you, Yuki-chan?"

"Ah, I'm the same as you guys. I only brought the essentials..." She opened her suitcase.

The inside of her suitcase was filled with BL manga. At that point, it wasn't clothes plus manga, it was manga plus clothes.

"..."

"...Those are essentials?" I sweat dropped.

"Er, well, yeah."

Arisa-chan started laughing. "As expected of Yuki-chan!!"

We all started laughing.

"Eh? Eh?" Chiyuki-chan looked at us.

Third Person View

"Where is it?" Igarashi asked.

"It shouldn't be too far." Sasahara replied as he looked around.

"I just wanna sleep already!" Shougo stretched his arms.

"Oh, there it is." Igarashi pointed.

Nanashima happily exclaimed, "Finally!"

Sasahara looked at the room number, "402".

"Yep, this is it." He unlocked the door.

They walked in and looked around.

"Should we set up the futons now or later?" Shougo asked.

Nanashima flopped onto the floor. "Later, too lazy right now."

"You better help, Yamaguchi!" Igarashi stated.

Yamaguchi sighed. "Yeah, yeah."

They then eventually set up the futons, knowing that they wouldn't later on.

Shougo flopped onto the futon. "Ah~ Finally!"

"It's getting pretty late." Sasahara said, looking at his watch. It was 11 PM.

"Yeah." Shougo agreed.

"...Hey, guys?" Igarashi suddenly called us.

"Yeah?" They looked at him.

"Care to explain why there are talismans on the ceiling and lamp?" He pointed upwards.

There were red talismans on the ceilings and on the lamp. Talismans are used to ward off evil spirits, as they all knew.

"..."

"Uh..." Nanashima gulped.

"...It's probably old and hasn't been taken off yet." Shougo suggested.

They ended up agreeing with him and started hanging out in the room.

Suddenly, the lights started flickering.

"..."

"P-power problems?" Nanashima asked.

At that point, they started to panic a bit. Even Yamaguchi.

"P-probably..." Sasahara nervously smiled.

After a little moment of unsettling silence, Igarashi said, "Hey... Do you guys hear that?"

What he said made everyone listen. They didn't want to know what he was talking about, but listened anyway.

Just a bit, they could hear faint laughter of a girl. "Hehehe..."

They stiffened up.

"H-hey..." Sasahara stuttered. "Could there actually be a..."

Yamaguchi immediately answered, "Of course not, don't be stupid."

Nanashima looked around the room with fear. "Even if you say that..."

*Ring, ring, ring*

The phone was ringing.

Everyone in the room flinched.

"...Uh..." Igarashi spoke.

"Should we answer that...?" Sasahara asked.

The phone kept on ringing, no one wanted to answer it. It stopped after a little moment.

A little while has passed.

"...I think I'm gonna head to bed..." Shougo crawled to his futon.

"M-me too..." Nanashima said with a nervous smile.

"Are you seriously scared?" Yamaguchi said, even though he was slightly shaken up himself.

Then, a knock.

*Knock, knock, knock*

"!!" They became shocked.

No one dared to say a word.

Finally, Sasahara mustered up the courage to silently stand up and grab one of the talisman on the wall.

He looked at the others. Nanashima, Igarashi, and Shougo all nodded.

Shougo grabbed Sasahara's baseball bat, which for some reason, he brought with him.

The four walked up to the door silently. Yamaguchi was watching them from the futons.

Sasahara grabbed the door knob and nodded at the three.

He quickly opened the door while holding up the talisman, shouting, "Away, you evil spirit!!"

...

"Uh..." A voice spoke.

The four opened their eyes. Sasahara saw a familiar red head at the door.

"I know I'm evil and all, but not to the point you need to ward me off with a talisman." Karma smiled irritatingly as he sweat dropped.

"A-Akabane!?" Sasahara shouted, feeling a huge weight off his shoulders.

The three guys behind him released a big sigh of relief as they collapsed to the ground.

"I-I didn't know you were here already..." Sasahara sighed.

"I tried calling you guys, but you didn't answer." Karma explained. "So I decided to come here."

"How did you know which room we were in?" Nanashima asked him as he stood up.

"I asked Nagisa." Karma plainly replied. "I was just asking if you guys wanna hang out. Is that wrong?"

They all released their breaths once again. "No, it's not... Come on in..."

Yamaguchi sighed at the three. "What a bunch of foolish idiots."

Meanwhile, at Nagisa's room

The girls were fast asleep, and the lights were off.

One particular girl was up with her phone flashlight turned on.

"Hehehe..." Chiyuki silently laughed as she read her BL manga in the dark.

"Yes, that's right, Levi... You belong with Eren..."
