I just realized that this will probably be a very long book...

Nagisa's POV

"Really!?" Arisa-chan shouted as her eyes lit up.

I smiled, "Yeah. Since I'm in the student council, I have access to the school rooftop."

Chiyuki-chan blushed, "T-the group of high school friends eating lunch on the school rooftop...!!" There she goes again.

Arisa-chan took all three of our lunches, "Let's go!! What are we waiting for!?" She's overly excited.

The three of us stood up and went to the Faculty Office. I went in and took the key for the roof.

"Where you guys going?" A voice asked us.

We turned to the voice. Arisa-chan said, "Ah, Sasahara-kun! We're going to the roof, wanna come?"

"The roof!? Yeah, I'll come!" He exclaimed.

Sasahara-kun and us have been talking, so we're friends now. Sometimes we watch him play baseball after school.

Then we headed up to the second floor, where the second years are.

"Ah, Konno-senpai!" Chiyuki-chan exclaimed. I turned to where she was looking.

It's true, we can see Konno-senpai from one of the windows to her class eating with her friends.

"You're right." I smiled.

Then we headed up again to the third floor, where the seniors are.

"Ah!!" An energetic voice said. "Shiota-chan and Shiraishi-chan!!"

It was Nozomi-senpai. "Where are you guys headed? I'll go with you!!" She said.

Suddenly, a girl put her hand on her shoulder, giving off a cold aura. "I found you..."

Her eyes were yellow and her hair was reddish brown, tied into a big bun.

Nozomi-senpai looked back, "Hiiii...!!" (She's not saying hello, she's saying hiii, as in pronounced he. You know, cause she's scared.)

Suddenly the girl dragged her from behind, "We have unfinished business of the club!!" She looked back at us and said, "Excuse us!!"

Nozomi-senpai let out imaginary tears, "Nooo!!" Her arms were reaching out at us as she got dragged away.

We sweat dropped as we looked at them.

"W-who was she?" Sasahara-kun asked.

"Manga Club..." I replied.

We headed up one more floor, and finally, we saw the door to the rooftop. It was a double door with a long handle on it. It had a small window on top.

We walked towards it and I unlocked it with the key.

I opened it, and the wind came rushing to us.

It was big. There were tall metal fences all around. There were some square cases on the ground filled with plants. I'm guessing that's the Gardening Club's.

Arisa-chan ran forward, her arms out wide, "Woow!! It's totally huge!" She exclaimed.

"Whoa. I've never been up the roof before." Sasahara-kun said.

"This reminds me of Persona..." Chiyuki-chan said.

"Persona? I've played the third and fourth one. Really good." I said.

"Really!?" She exclaimed, her eyes glimmering.

"Hey, you three!!" Arisa-chan shouted from the edge. "Come on and eat!!"

We walked towards her and sat by the fence, opening our lunches.

We ate as we talked about different things.

"Hey, how're things going with you and Yamaguchi-kun?" Arisa-chan asked.

I thought about it.

"I've tried striking up conversations with him, but he still doesn't want to talk much." I replied.

"How cold..." Chiyuki-chan said.

"Then when we're assigned to something, he always gives off a cold aura and won't talk except for an occasional question. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong..."

The three of them sweat dropped and said, "It's not you, it's him..."

Sasahara-kun said, "That guy's dad is the head of the Yamaguchi Company."

"Really?" Chiyuki-chan asked.

He closed his eyes, "Yeah. You know the Yamaguchi Hospital?"

"That really giant and ultra fancy with the super super professional doctors and high tech technology? Yeah, I know it." Arisa-chan said.

"Well, his family owns that." Sasahara-kun said.

"Wow..." Chiyuki-chan seemed amazed.

"He does seem rather cold, though." Sasahara-kun unwrapped his bread.

He took a bite out of his bread and said, "But I've seen him talk with his friends."

"So he does talk." Arisa-chan said. "So that means you have to get to know him first!"

"Get to know him, huh?" I said.

-Time skip-

Me and Yamaguchi-kun were told to clean our classroom again.

...

I said, "We really need to make that cleaning schedule."

"Yeah." He replied.

...

"Do you have any siblings, Yamaguchi-kun?" I asked.

"Yeah. I have a little sister." He said. "She's in the third year of middle school now."

I smiled, "Is that so? What's she like?"

"She's actually really noisy and annoying. She barges into my room and starts complaining about something." He said as he rested his head on the broom he's holding.

"Really? There must be something you like about her." I said.

He went quiet for a few seconds, thinking. "I guess she makes the house lively when my parents aren't home."

"That's good." I said. "You should always look at people's good sides instead of their bad ones."

He hummed in response.

"What about you?" He asked.

"I don't have any siblings. I've actually never thought about how my life would be with siblings." I said.

"Okay, so far so good. This is the longest conversation we've had."

"What do you do when you're at home?" I asked.

"I mostly study." He said.

"Really? I only study sometimes at home. Even though my grades in middle school were quite awful."

He looked at me, "But don't you need to have good grades if you're in the student council?"

"I guess. I just need to try harder."

"What if your grades are still awful?"

"Then I'll try even harder."

"Then what if your role as the student council is taken by someone else?"

"Then I'll try my hardest to be the student council again."

"Why do you want to be the student council so badly?"

I thought about that.

...

"Er, I don't know..." I replied.

He looked at me and his eyes widened a bit. He then smiled and then laughed.

He looked at me while smiling, "You're interesting."

I looked at him. "He laughed.."

"Eh?" I said in confusion.

"We should continue cleaning." He held the broom. "And you're right about making the cleaning schedule soon."

I looked at him again before I cleaned the blackboard. I smiled.

"Well, that's a start..."

Seems like Yamaguchi doesn't seem so cold after all.
