Aricia is an angry person. She's irritable and quick to anger, but she came from a rough life. She hates herself, as one of the few born a vampire, she was ridiculed and abused for it growing up. Her constant need for blood only fueled her violent streak. She near constantly projects her insecurities on other people, and it usually is what sparks fights she is in.
She really just feels lonely though, she's been isolated by her family and accused of causing her mother's death. She wants a friend and she wants to be normal.
She's addicted to drugs, as she tried to use them to suppress her urge to drink blood, which never worked.
Despite her seemingly alpha-female personality, she grows really submissive when abuse grows severe or persists. She falls quiet, and will do what she's told, no matter what she's told to do.

Likes

Animals, cats are her favorite, children, peace and quiet, the stars, romantic movies, walks on the beach, thinking true love is real, reading, violence.

Dislikes

Her father, most authority figures, being told what to do, guns, drowning and water.

Fears

Drowning, electrocution, her father, actually being responsible for her moms death.

Aricia was a vampire from birth, and a large portion of her time in the womb. This is because her mother had an affair with a vampire about three months into the pregnancy, and the fluids transmitted the "disease" to Aricia.
The fact that Aricia was a vampire caused strain on her mother's body during birth, and her mother died in labor.
Refusing to let Aricia be contaminated from birth, her father took her home and watched her closely. She was homeschooled, and wasn't allowed outside alone.
When she was young her father started to get abusive. He'd get drunk and beat the shit out of her, then leave her to clean up, saying he didn't want her disease. She has many memories from when she was young where she'd be sobbing as she cleaned up her own blood.
When she was twelve he gave up on trying to keep her at home, and sent her to public school. She got in frequent fights and was suspended after accidentally converting another student over the course of a fight. She was never allowed back in a public school and her father never tried to educate her again.
Recently he sent her to a religious center that dealt with vampires, giving up on her. He never visits, and because she's not paid for she's treated poorly there.

Other

Due to lack of monitoring at the religious institutions they are kept in, frequent illegal actions occur, such as sexual abuse and inhuman means of trying to get the vampires to beg for forgiveness, or simply as a means of punishing them for not doing what they're told.
The governments, local and federal, have failed to even heed any notice or concern in regards to the complaints filed against the location, furthering the isolation and discrimination of vampires.
