April 27th

Sky was spying on the police again and got assigned a case of six murders. All victims have been murdered using a blade (best guess is sword of some kind), there are no fingerprints, no DNA on any of the scenes. Nothing.

No signs of struggle and a professional way of killing. (That's what Sky says.) I think it's an assassin, but she told me it's probably just a good serial killer, and not to fantasize too much.

Yeah, rich coming from ms. all-I-know-about-crime-is-from-real-crime-podcasts-and-CSI:Miami.

April 29th

We renovated the whole old monastery and installed an elevator. The space for our garage is partially hollowed out, but needs a lot of work.

I think we could dock the island with our temple to it to gain better access and keep it in one place. The island keeps blowing away wherever it wants, sometimes thousands of kilometers in one night.

May 2nd

We had pizza today. It's delicious!

May 6th

We will be forced to stop our work on the secret garage (It needs a better name.), because the rest want to go on some stupid adventure in the desert.

May 8th

Oh boy. Yesterday was crazy. We got attacked by a giant bug in the desert (Jay called it Bernie. Sweet.), got lost in some kind of labyrinth-like pyramid, and all we got was a stupid puzzle at the end?!

None of us had any energy to do it.

May 13th

We resumed our work. It will take us approximately two weeks to hollow the space out and another three to actualy make it useful.

May 15th

I won in whole-temple game of Monopoly. There was a lot of screaming, many betrayals, the instruction has never before been read as many times, and it cost us all 8 hours of coffee-fueled stress, but it was worth it.

Well, at least I think so.

The rest will probably get revenge on me next month in a tournament of 'Fist 2 Face 2'.

There are a few more victims in Sky's case. Still no clues. Besides one. There is apparently a witness who saw how one of the murders happened. Ms. detective is going to interrogate them.

Honestly? I bet 20$ that the witness is gonna get murdered like, tomorrow.

May 21st

I was right. Sky got to the police station, only to find the lifeless body of our witness in the interrogation room.

May 24th

Mei said we (Sky) have to relax a bit, and so we went to the beach once again. Now that they don't have to hide, Sky went right into the water to look at pretty fish or something and hadn't resurfaced once in 6 hours we've been there.

Sometimes she scares me.

May 26th

Went to get a midnight snack and almost had a heart attack when I saw Lloyd's red eyes looking at me from the top of the fridge.

We went to an aquarium, because of Sky's birthday three days ago. She loved the fishes and even started talking to a hawksbill turtle at some point.

They are unwell. Right off the bat they asked the staff whether they had any alligator snapping' turtles, red eared sliders or ornate box turtles.

She also spent half an hour watching spiny softshells in their tank and muttering 'my god they look so stupid but so cute' to herself this whole time.

SHE IS UNWELL.

June 5th

Mei's friends visited. There was a guy with a stick, two monkeys, a pig and a blue guy. But the best of them was the scholar.

My dad may be dead but the historian in me is always going to be hungry for knowledge. And so we spent two hours talking about our realms and countries.

He also started infodumping about 'the great Monkie King'. For that the stick kid tagged along.

Turns out Tang isn't the only one passionate about this whole myth, because soon the monkeys joined him and the kid, who apparently is his son, and started correcting him on some facts.

The weirdest thing was that instead of, you know, defending the facts and the real story, like a historian should, he just wrote everything the monkeys said down.

June 6th

Okay, so, no one told me that MK (the stick kid) was staying with us, and so I found out in one of the most awkward ways possible. Stumbling upon him, in our kitchen, while he was making himself at home, grabbing snacks for himself, Mei and Sky.

We never really talked to each other, so as a conversation starter I asked about his stick.

Turns out it's more of a bō staff, it has some crazy powers, like changing size and all that.

"Oh, is this the reason Sky likes bō staff so much as a weapon?" I asked him, and the response couldn't have surprised me more.

"No, that's because of one of the turtles. The um... purple one...? I think. The one with eyebrows drawn-on with a sharpie."

What does that even mean?! Why would a turtle have eyebrows?! And who would draw them on?! Why a sharpie?! Hello?!

I didn't get any answers, since the boy had already run upstairs.

June 7th

Seriously. I did research. There is nothing on the internet even resembling what he said.

I need to ask Sky.

June 8th

I have unleashed the horrors. One question.

One question, and Sky was all over me, telling me some random trivia about them. I still don't know the damn turtles' name, but I know that: They're nonbinary, they have a kid, apparently, their dad is a rat, they really need parental praise, they have sensory issues, they like building lethal weapons and 99th digit of π (pi) is 7.

First Spinjitzu Master was that how hell looks like?

June 12th

The work schedule has been rearranged a bit, and we had a time slipping, but we have finally finished hollowing out the space for our Cave. (Work on the name is still in progress.)

June 15th

Oh, you'll never guess what happened! We had the 'Fist 2 Face 2' tournament today and I won! Guess the family will absolutely want to take revenge in a month.

June 17th

I got curious about this pyramid again. I snuck out and took the Bounty for a quick adventure.

June 18th

After a whole night spent on moving those FSMforsaken puzzle pieces, I finally opened the tomb!

Turns out inside was some crazy creepy snake sorceress who stole my water power and resecurrected an army of undead snakes. That kinda sucks.

She rushed to get to ninjago city.

June 19th

I saw her on my way home. She was all dried out and her army was gone, due to the unforgiving heat of the desert.

I picked her up and dropped her off at the police station.

My powers came back.

June 25th

We had a starfarer marathon today. My goodness it was great but very tiring. The whole franchise has eleven movies, two 3-season shows and a series of comics.

Before we even started with the marathon, Jay told me everything he knew about the comics. For example that in the first issue, Fritz Donnegan was incorrectly called Friz Raeggan, because back then no one really knew how to name him.

He also canonically has a half-alien son called Knarg, although he is never actually seen.

There also exists a movie 'Fritz Donnegan: Space Hero Returns' which is thoroughly ignored by everyone and hated by the fanbase.

June 27th

Uncle Nix took a day off from managing an ice cream shop. He spent the whole day lying on the couch in his pajamas, watching 'Science of Chairs' whatever it is.

June 30th

Can someone tell Sky to stop singing 'Moves Like Jagger'? I can hear this damn song everywhere in the temple.

I get her normal singing in the shower, but this is too much. It's been going on for three days and they won't stop.

July 2nd

The Cave has been finished! Now we may now work on the new mech!

July 5th

Sky still hasn't found her murderer and the number of victims have gone up to 11. Thank FSM she was able to talk to a witness before they were killed.

They saw a masked person, dressed in black, with hair white as day, entering victims' flat through a window.

We're planning another heist.

We finally told the rest about renovating the monastery. The family was a bit surprised, but started planning how to 'park' the temple next to the mountain nonetheless.

Huh, it feels kinda right to call them 'family'. I don't even know when we became that close.

July 13th

Jay's hair gets really frizzy when he uses his powers.

July 16th

The heist didn't go well. We had to change plans mid-way, because the family had changed their security system since the last time. No one was arrested.

July 20th

One of our frequent buyers didn't show up at Dairy Dragon today. He was a kid between 12 and 14 and always ordered Garmadon Armageddon with Kai's fiery special between 3pm and 3.30pm.

Toni said he disappeared.

We docked the temple to the monastery. Next step is making a rope bridge between them.

The Bounty is docked on the other side.

Leo woke me up with stabbing. Sometimes I just wish he would stay in his aquarium.

Another victim of Sky's white haired murderer. He was rich and quite powerful. I think he was a mafia boss or smth.

Jay nicknamed the murderer 'ghost', because there are no alive witnesses who have seen them and they have white hair.

Toni has introduced me to her other friend - Nelson. He is a sweet kid and a big ninja fan.

Wish I could say something different, but I don't really like the kid. He's just not my type of person.

August 7th

Work on our new mech is going well. We already have the body. Now only arms and legs.

Also Uncle Nix is planning a heist. Without me this time.

Someone put Lady Gaga's 'Bad Romance' on the speakers (there is one in every room in the temple), and literally everyone started singing.

August 16th

'Bohemian Rhapsody' came on the speakers randomly. Who is making us sing and why?

Mei stumbled into our secret Cave. She said she's gonna help us with the mech and move her vehicles in there, because it's so big.

August 23rd

Sky made us watch a movie about some turtles. She says it's "the only thing she can show us!"

Don't know what kind of 'things' she was referring to, but that's obviously untrue. She has shown us the 'Marvel' movies already.

August 25th

Found out that Mei and Sky have a YouTube channel and they post videos of the ninja doing stupid things and all of us singing. They are all security tapes.

I obviously subscribed.

Seeing Kai stopping by a random mirror and striking poses to it will never not be funny.

Number of ghost's victims have gone up to 21. Police is unable to do anything about it.

September 3rd

I have burnt my toast. It was a bad day.

September 5th

I found Leo chilling in our half-filled sink in the kitchen at 3am. I didn't have energy to get him back into aquarium, nor wanted to accidentally wake Mei and Sky up (they are light sleepers), so I left him there, praying that he won't be dead in the morning or something.

September 6th

Sky found Leo in the kitchen very much alive and eating away our pizza leftovers.

September 9th

Jay showed me some tricks with his nunchucks today.

September 13th

MK visited. Apparently the monkeys are gonna swing by in a few days for another monopoly tournament.

It's one thing playing with superpowered ninjas, but with immortal gods(yes I did my research) it's gonna be thousand times weirder.

September 16th

It was a total disaster. Halfway through the game Macaque pushed Wukong(I finally learned their names), which resulted, somehow, in a 'small' prank war.

So as I am writing this, Jay is stuck on the ceiling, Kai is glued to the floor and trying to get up to eat something, Cole is covered in cake that blew in his face ^thrice^, Sky and Mei are both covered in glitter and paint, their hair wearing parts of duct tape in them, Zane is missing an arm and a leg, both stuck to the ceiling using duct tape, I am wearing half-burnt, torn by glue and FSM only knows what else clothes, MK is still hiding on the roof I think and the monkeys both have a flock of rubber chickens glued to them.

Harumi is the only one who didn't get hurt, since she was out shopping for half of the event, and Lloyd got stuck in a window frame and sprayed with paint.

And so, after 9 hours of prank war we are finally somehow finished. Mainly because the only ones who are not exhausted yet, are unable to move (Zane, Jay and Kai. The monkeys could probably go on, but the chickens really slow their movements.)

Cleaning up took us two days. :(

September 20th

Sky is dancing and singing to 'Entropy'. She won't stop.

September 21st

They won't stop! I have 'entropy' playing on repeat in my head and it won't leave, but Sky still refuses to stop listening to it.

September 22nd

I have finally found peace. Sky is not stopping, but the most desperate of us are spending days decorating our rooms in the monastery and nights sleeping in it.

September 23rd

Zane still sleeps in the temple even though this madness doesn't stop. Sky says she's 'in the zone' and therefore refuses to turn the music off.

We tried taking away their phone, but she never leaves it.

Mei is just vibing to it, minding her own business. How can she withstand it? What kind of power is that? Can she teach me?

September 25th

The only good thing coming from "the entropy incident" was that everyone has acclimatized to their rooms in monastery and are now switching bedrooms whenever they feel like it.

September 28th

Harumi asked 'the no question'.

It started on a topic of Jay's parents. Everything seemed normal, Sky was asking how they're doing and stuff. And then I heard it, and my blood froze. "Hey, and what about your parents, Sky?". It was an innocent question. That's probably what Harumi thought, but the reality was different. Sky has never answered this ask.

Never, until now. She sighed and said "Okay, I guess it's time to tell you.".

"My parents were normal people. We lived in a house far from the city, so it was always quiet." She told us. "We had two dogs, and me and my brother were going to school far away, so we had to wake up early. My dad would always play songs on the radio for us in the car." They had a nostalgic look in the eye as they talked.

"But it's all behind me. I got lost between realms one day, and never found my way home." Everyone was silent the whole time, seeping up every word, because it might've been the last time Sky opened up like this. "But now I'm here, and I have a new family. The end." They cut the story short.

Why was she unable to go back? What were her parent's names? Why have we not heard about their brother before?

So many questions, so little answers.

September 29th

Everyone is silently talking about Sky's parents. Them sharing this part of her story was kind of a big deal to us. Why wasn't she able to go back? Can we help her somehow?

October 1st

I spent the whole day at the library researching multidimensional travel. I have some theories.

October 3rd

Another 4 victims were added to ghost's kill count. Another mafia boss, two models and our previous police commissioner. Things are looking nasty.

October 5th

There is a new game I want to try out. Hope it'll be good.
