Being raised in an army of Vermilion warriors by a historian who wants to take over the world, Livinia saw and heard of crazy things. Nothing, however, was crazy enough to prepare her for chaos taking place at ninjas' secret hideout.

The girl she was fighting before - Sky was getting scolded by the Black and White ninjas, while saying something about red one's sister and water powers. Red ninja was looking their kidnapee up and down, muttering something about hair colour difference, while the blue one laughed his ass off. Green ninja looked absolutely unbothered by whatever was happening, running from one room to another, presumably stealing from everyone's stashes of junk food.

Loud "What the fuck!?" could be heard across the room, as a raven haired girl dressed in green entered through the door, the mug of coffee she had in her hand landing on the floor.

Mei just wanted one normal afternoon after a long day of fighting demons and a particularly stressful dinner in Ao Guangs' palace. She wanted to drink her coffee, watch YouTube and maybe a movie with Sky and to go to sleep.

Unfortunately those were only beautiful dreams, as in this house relaxation was almost never achievable.

"Okay, so who is this, again?" She asked.
"Nya. At least that's my theory. You see, she has water powers, and- " Sky started rambling. Usually Mei would just let her and listen, but that wasn't one of those times. Now a girl, potentially a spy, was sitting in their living room.
"So, she has powers? And you just tied her to the chair? No security? Nothing? Even right now she's saying something to herself while her eye is glowing. How do you know if she's not using any powers right now? Hm?"
"Well, she can't use her elemental powers, see I made custom vengestone bracelets- WHAT DO YOU MEAN HER EYE IS GLOWING!!!" Sky sprung towards Livinia at the speed of light, hunger for knowledge in her eyes.
"Wait, custom vengestone bracelets?" Kai asked, interested
"Oh, yeah I made them for everyone on the team plus a spare one." Sky responded between questions she was currently drowning Liv in.
"How do they even work? And where did you get the vengestone from?" Lloyd asked, a bit concerned.
"Oh, you know. The gems are so small that they are able to block powers only when touching skin. I even wore mine for a while before the tournament of elements." Sky didn't even take her eyes off the person she was interrogating.
"And where did you get the vengestone from?" Lloyd repeated his question, growing more suspicious.
"Eeehh... Don'tworryaboutit." Sky blurted out, finally prying her eyes off Liv only to direct them awkwardly to the side.
"Anyway. We better find Nya a place to sleep." Everyone shot a questioning look at Sky. "Oh, come on, she's not gonna spend the night tied to this old chair!"

Livinia was dumbfounded. That's absolutely not how dad Krux was describing kidnapping. He said it would be awful. Scary people doing horrible things to you to get what they want, sleeping on a cold floor, ropes digging into your skin bruising it even more.

And yet this was nothing like the description. A bunch of weird people tied her to a chair, yes, but the girl- Sky made sure the rope wasn't too tight, they gave Liv her own room and a comfortable bed for the night. Room was absolutely windowless, and ninja locked the doors, but they left her new clothes, and the room had its own bathroom.It was more like a forced stay in one of these "hotels" Krux once told her about than a kidnapping.But it still didn't change the fact, that Livinia didn't want to be here. And she knew who could get her out.She focused on the hive mind connection she had with her older sister and sent her a message."Hey Machs, can you come pick me up? Those ninjas are insufferable."

Meanwhile the ninja were trying to figure out the Time Blade and a very important question related to it. Who will get to use it as their weapon?

"It should obviously be me. I'm the green ninja after all!" Lloyd tried to take the weapon from Kai, with no result."Yeah, exactly! You already have the strongest power. It should be someone like me!" Jay snached the blade and started posing with it, like he was having a photoshoot. "Besides, it works well with my gi." He striked a pose, trying to dab, accidentally throwing the blade across the room."No way! You can't even use it properly. I should get it." Cole caught the weapon and started punching and kicking the air, showing off his skills."You three are too reckless. I believe this weapon should be given to someone far more cautious and responsible." Zane carefully took the blade from Cole's hands."Children, children. Calm down." Wu entered the living room and the weapon landed in his hands."So, he's alive." Sky commented sarcastically. The old man ignored it.He started giving a speech on being responsible and at that moment, Sky sighed deeply and walked out of the room to join Mei in watching you tube in bed.

The morning wasn't one of the pleasant ones, but it wasn't the worst either. Let's be real, nothing could be worse than waking up to see Cole and Kai arguing in the kitchen, after their sorry excuse for a cake blew up, leaving its contents everywhere in a 5 meter radius, not even the Vermilion Warrior attack.

It wasn't surprising that when Sky walked into the kitchen and saw Jay furiously punching a snake, she shrugged and made coffee for herself and Mei, like nothing happened. She then grabbed a few snack bars and went to give them to the prisoner they took yesterday. However Nya didn't even eat one, as just after Sky walked into her room, someone broke down the door and shouted at Livinia to get out. The girl, obviously, immediately jumped up and sped to the door. Before, however, she could escape, Sky grabbed her wrist.This caused Livinia to turn around. When she did, Sky looked up into her eyes, and said softly "Krux isn't a good person. I just want you to know that.". She then let go of the girls' wrist, sliding the vengestone bracelet off her hand gently.

Running through corridors of the flying temple, Liv thought about these words. She knew Krux. Of course, he was selfish and a little bit strict, but he would never kill anyone, so that meant he wasn't bad, right?

"Oh, there you are!" Machias' voice pulled her out of her thoughts, once she arrived at a rescue ship that docked in the air, right next to the island the temple was standing on. "We got Liv. We're going back to the base!" She ordered, and the army started retreating."Hey, but what about the-" Liv didn't even have to finish the sentence, before her sister responded.
"We got the time blade, don't worry. Ah the ninja? Those idiot kids are none of our concern. At least as long as they don't cause too much trouble." Pros of being linked to a hivemind.

"Come on, we gotta get the time blade back. What do we know about Krux?" Cole asked everyone.
"He's evil?"
"He was dr. Saunders."
"He likes history." A few voices responded.
"He has a secret room in the museum, where he has a secret tunnel to his secret base." All eyes turned to Sky. "What? The layouts of the building are on the internet, and when you navigate through the museum at some point you realize that there is a secret room. Then just find the door and-" Sky started reciting a cover story she just made up. Actually it was a bit more than a cover up. It was something she would actually do if she had time.

"We get it!" Kai effectively cut her rambling off. "I got something to do, so let's get this over with already.""Okay, so, since we have literally no vehicle except for one motorbike and Coles' car, I wanted to give Lloyd an early birthday present." Sky pressed a button and a small flying ship rose from the ground. "We built it for you with Mei. Hope you like it." "But I'm like. 14. I guess..." Lloyd didn't even finish, before the girl responded."Oh, come on! The rest is driving too, and they are like, what, 15? Besides, I don't even have a license in this world! It'll be okay. Zane'll show you how to steer this thing." Sky waved her hand and the ninja ran out of the room.Kai, however didn't move."Hey, you okay there?" Sky stopped in her tracks and turned around."Yeah, I just... want to check something- real quick-" Kai rubbed his arm, hints of sadness showing from behind his awkward expression. Sky rested her hand on his shoulder and looked at him with kindness flowing out of her face, hugging him like a tight blanket."Go. You know where to look for us." She said softly and walked out of the room.

When the team finally arrived at the swamp, with a little help from Scales and his son, they couldn't believe their eyes. The whole place was not only full of eggs, but also crawling with the vermilion warriors.

"Auugghhh... Looks like we're gonna need the whole team for this one." Lloyd sighed and called Kai. Not a second later a phone ringing was heard from behind him, the red ninja running out of the tunnel, his eyes glistering softly with tears. He stopped in front of the rest, panting. "My- He- He's alive! My father!" He shouted between breaths. Everyone froze in shock. Ever since they met Kai, they knew (from Sky) that his parents were dead and he was raised by everyone else in their little village, but now... ? What were they supposed to think? What were they allowed to ask? "And, the worst part is that... ...He's working for the hands of time." When the words fell out of Kai's mouth, Sky could swear, she could literally hear everyone's minds shattering and then imploding."Hey, don't worry" She stepped towards Kai. "We'll get him on our side. We'll get him back. Just-" Sky couldn't finish, because the red ninja spoke up, frowning in boredom."Yeah, yeah, remember that not everything you assume is true, I know. You told us that at least a million times. Can we go already?" The girl just smiled at him. She was proud. Proud, that he wasn't lashing out in anger, but trying to get his father, as a fraction of a normal life, instead of trying to murder him for the so-called betrayal.

"Hey, I think I see the master blacksmith workshop! Sky!" Kai shouted suddenly, excited.

"Ehh... I guess the Hands of Time can wait a bit." Sky sighed, smiling a bit and followed the teen already running down the path to a little shed.He opened the door with so much force, they almost flew across the room, startling the man who was currently working inside. The red ninja was buzzing with energy, excited to see his father the first time since he was 5. Ray on the other hand had absolutely no idea why two unknown people just barged into his house. "Who are you? And what do you want?" He asked, trying to sound annoyed. "I told Krux I already finished the Iron Doom." Well, that wasn't good. But before Sky could ask about the machine, Kai literally jumped up to Ray and took off his mask in one smooth movement. "Hi! I'm Kai, master of fire and your son, nice to meet you!" He screamed excitedly, happiness spilling from him in every movement.

His father froze, wide-eyed and carefully took a step forward. Slowly, like this moment could shatter away at any moment he lifted his hand and gently touched Kai's cheek. With tears pooling in his eyes, he whispered "You're real. You're actually here.", cupping Kai's face softly.

The teenager broke into silent crying, tears streaming down his face, as he hugged his parent."Oh, what a heartwarming-" Krux tried to do that 'bad guy interrupts the reunion' scene, but Sky jumped on him, effectively cutting him off.The reunion, however did get interrupted, and two masters of fire jumped into fighting stance.
Acronix, who apparently came here with Krux, charged at Ray, time blade in hand, effectively occupying him. Kai wanted to help his father out but found himself unable to move. "Nya!?" Sky's surprised yell turned everyone's attention to the teen, who was, up until now, silently lurking in the shadows. Nya lifted corners of her lips a bit, smiling and unceremoniously flung Kai into a wall.
Looks like she finally got a hold on bloodbending. "Hey, you've been training your power?" Sky asked, positively surprised, still sitting on Krux, pinning him to the ground, probably damaging his old man back in the process.Liv genuinely didn't know what to say. She was unfamiliar with anyone talking while in a fight. They'll have to fix it someday.
"Eehhh... Yeah, I mean I still got some problems with keeping the blood running in the body..." She muttered, shyly, not sensing any attempt at deception. Sky thought for a moment and answered "Oh, I know what might cause this. You are focusing on the body's movement, not on the blood itself. That's why your brain treats it like a still object, resulting in stopping its flow. I had the same problem! Try to imagine a river flowing inside the body. It's moving constantly, and you can't stop it." analyzing the problem and finding the issue effortlessly.That left every 18+ person in the room frozen in confusion.

"Wait, you have water powers too? How?" Acronix piped up. "Wait, does that mean Nya is like- my Nya? My daughter?" Ray just appeared confused as hell. "Wait, isn't she like-? Your daughter?" and "My name is Livinia." Sounded off from the younger of time twins and Liv at the same time.
Everyone's eyes fell onto Krux, who was still laying on the ground with Sky crushing his spine. "Yes, she is the biological daughter of the blacksmith, but I rescued her and raised as my own." The old man whined out, trying for it to sound touching. Everybody in the room gasped, surprised, except Liv, who just rolled her eyes, like she heard this a hundred times before.
"Ohhh I think I understand now!" Sky nodded in understanding, earning a wheezed "My liver!" from Krux. "But wait. Where is Maya then?" She was confused.Ray's face fell into a sad silence. Like every other emotion has been sucked out of him, leaving only a shell of sorrow. "She... She has-" He couldn't finish the sentence, cut off by slam of opening door.
Everyone looked at the person who just entered the room, and now couldn't help herself from a long, tired sigh. "Oh, hi Machia." Nya's face lit up with a smile. "What are you doing here?" She asked curiously, tilting her head a bit. "I came here to inform the Hands of Time that our vehicle is ready for departure on the mission to acquire the last time blade, but it looks like now I have to make the master of fire go with us." She answered in a dull and tired tone with a hint of disappointment. It was mostly aimed at the time twins, from which, one was seemingly frozen in a 'middle-of-fighting' pose with the master blacksmith, and the other was trapped underneath a teenage girl, who, seated comfortably on his back, seemed more interested in conversation than fight.
The only one in the room who at least tried to appear professional was Livinia, who still had Kai under control, and it seemed she improved her power, because her victim was still breathing.

"Just make a dragon." Sky repeated. Liv appeared surprised, confused, bewildered even. "What do you mean make a dragon?"
