Thunderwind's pov

Almost everycat yowled in protest.

"She's barely a warrior!"
"She has no experience!"
"A young shecat?!"
"No! Starclan will rain curses upon us!"

I flinched. I get that I was barely a warrior but CloudStar said Starclan had approved.
They wanted me to be deputy.....

"They're right, CloudStar. I'm far to young. Maybe someone else? With more experience?"

"NO! Starclan has decided! Without further ado Thunderwind will be deputy!"

He glared at the clan below him.

" I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of Lighteningclan is Thunderwind!"

I puffed out my chest, proud.
Even though most didn't approve of me being deputy.

The only cats that seemed to approve, were Graypaw, Wildpaw, who watched from he medicine cat den, and Talonclaw.

But soon a shecat ran into our camp.
"Help! Please!"
