"Bull QUICK!!! GO FASTER!! THEY'RE GETTING AWAY!!"

"Don't worry, Kadan, I've got them..."

"Sera! Quit hitting me! Just cause your slow ass can't keep up."

"Hey!! My ass is not slow. In fact I betcha 10 bronze I beat you the next ten games!"

"Oh you are ON!!"

At that moment, a rather tall Qunari woman walked into the room the four unlikely friends were in. The woman saw two female elves, a female dwarf and a male of her own race sitting around a television. Mario Kart was split into three parts of the screen and it showed that three of the four were racing each other. A white board hung on the wall next to the tv with a sort of tally system happening. It showed that the only male of the group was up by one while the dwarf and blond elf were tied on two.

These four friends were Navina, Nori, Sera and The Iron Bull, Bull for short. Navina, the dwarf, had short brown hair and bright red eyes and wore black pants with a purple sports bra and red and black jacket.

Nori, one of the elves, had short, tied back, dark brown hair and hazel-green eyes. Her clothes were a black crop-top and camo-print shorts, with fishnet stockings and red converse. The top showing an emblem of an eye with a red pupil and five red spike-like things hanging from it.

Sera, the other elf, had even shorter, choppy blonde hair and greenish coloured eyes. A red and black jumper covered her accompanied by yellow diamond print skinny jeans and black converse.

The last one, Bull, was almost giant-like compared to the others and wore nothing but blue jeans and a chain necklace. A black eyepatch covered his left eye. This left the woman who had just walked in. Her name was Nyx, and she was another friend of the group. Her hair was white and styled in that of a mohawk, while her eyes were ice blue. She wore blue jeans and a red crop top with a black hoodie over the top. A necklace decorated with their emblem hung from her neck.

The place they were in, was a home of sorts. All of the people living here were not of the same family, but at the same time were. Some of us had lost our birth parents, while others had never had any and were left abandoned. But either way, we all eventually ended up here. Except Sera. Sera found us.

"Yosh!!" And a collection of groans came from the group, along with a light chuckle. Turning back to the tv, you could see Bull's car crossing the finish line in first place, Sera and Navina were close behind. Nori could be seen jumping around in glee while the two female racers seemed to be sulking. Bull just laughed at the antics and prepared for the next race.

"We're home!!" A feminine voice and two sets of footsteps could be heard from the front door. It wasn't long before Solas, an elf wearing a red hoodie and black jeans, and Alaina, another elf, her hair bright red and partially shaven with aqua coloured eyes, was wearing a black long-sleeved crop-top, camo green army pants and black boots entered the room carrying a heap of shopping bags. Well, Solas was. Alaina had two.

"Hi Alaina, hey Solas!" Nori called out to the pair. Everyone else mumbled their hello's and went back to playing the game while Nori wrote up the tally for The Iron Bulls win. 4, 2, 2 with Bull still in the lead.

The groceries were quickly put away and it didn't take long after for everyone to pounce on the chips and salsa.

After a few more rounds of Mario Kart, resulting in a score of 7, 4, 4, Bull had won and Sera and Navina weren't too happy about it. By then it was about dinner time and we were all starving.

Takeout was on the menu because we were all to lazy to cook on this particular night. We'd all grabbed our jackets and locked up, ready to go find dinner. Stepping out of our front door, we were greeted with an alleyway that smelled slightly of cigarette smoke and sewage. Our group traveled down the alleyway until we reached a building with a pull-down ladder leading to a stairway. Bull looked over at Nori.

"Ready?" He asked the elf. She looked up at the ladder two stories up and gave a grin.

"Let's go." She said stepping one foot onto The Iron Bulls hands and braced herself. He launched her into the air as she aimed for the ladder. A small flip and a quick grab landed her right where she wanted to be. Giving a sharp pull in the ladder and letting go after it started moving left her and the ladder falling to the ground. After falling back into Bulls arms and being set down, the group climbed up to the roof. Once they were all up, small nods were given before they all began leaping across rooftops, laughter and sighing could be heard from the group as they made their way along.

About seven buildings along, everyone stopped and began to make their way down. Bull was the first to make it, only to have to catch a falling Nori after hearing her voice call out to him from five floors up. He tried yelling at her but she just laughed it off claiming; "I was fine, I knew you'd catch me." To which he got quite flustered and dropped the topic.

The rest quickly followed, all of them having something to say about Nori's leap from the rooftop. It ranged from Sera's "That was AWESOME!! Do it again!" to Alaina's "No cookie for you." To which Nori started crying and begging for her cookie rights to be reinstated.

The group wandered out of the alleyways and onto the main roads, where people of all shapes and sizes were walking or running, trying to get to their next destination. The pizza place and a Subway were across the road from where the group were standing. Alaina turned to her bunch of friends and spoke.

"Right, whoever want's Subway, raise your hand." Two hands shot up while one sighed and meekly did the action. "Right, Solas, here's the money. Nori, Navina you go with him. The rest of us will go get pizza and we'll meet you back here in a bit."

The group then proceeded to cross the road, Nori, Navina and Solas walking one way, Sera, Alaina, Nyx and Bull heading the other. While nothing interesting happened with the group of four, other then the obvious flirting of Nyx and Sera, the Subway groups was quite eventful. It started with the two excited girls giving Solas their order and being forced to wait outside. It quickly continued with a human and elf promptly coming up to the pair and attempting to flirt. Navina found it all quite entertaining, flirting back in almost every way, while Nori was quite uncomfortable with the whole situation. While the dwarf and male elf flirted away, Nori spent her time trying to dodge questions and avoid touches.

"Baby, why are you being so cold? You've barely said a word to me. Come on, gimme a smile."

"I-I'm fine, thank you."

"Aw, come on! If you're not comfortable here, how's about we head on over to mine?"

"I-I have a boyfriend, so I'll pass thank you."

"Hey, what's you boyfriend gonna do, come on let's-"

"I'm sorry but I believe the lady said she would pass. So are you going to back off, or are things going to have to get violent?" A low, throaty voice could be heard from behind the poor man. Nori, on the other hand, was facing towards the voices source and was quite happy to see him.

"Bull!"

"Nice to see you too Kadan. Now, where was I?" The poor man turned to face the giant Qunari towering over him.

"You-you... you're with her?" The man stuttered out, eyes dashing back and forth from the Qunari to the frail-looking Elf. "B-but how does it- how are you two- ... bye!" And with that, he dashed away.

"Are you alright? He didn't do anything did he?" Bull looked uncharacteristically worried, but Nori just shook her head.

"Nope! I'm fine, thanks to you!" And at that moment, everyone came out into the street, food in hand and smirking at the Qunari-Elf pair.

"Nori got hit on again huh?" Nyx commented, her arm around Seras waist. Navina was still flirting with the other Elf and looked up for a short time.

"Hey guys, Adrian and I are gonna get our own pizza, I'll see you tomorrow!" She called out to us before walking away with 'Adrian'.

The group often had nights, and days for that matter, like this one. Nyx and Sera flirting and making dirty remarks, Navina finding and pointing out every attractive person she saw, and flirting back when necessary, Alaina and Solas playing the parent role, but always finding time for one another, Nori being awardly hit on, shying away, Bull getting pissed of and protecting her and then getting a completely innocent reaction from the Elf-girl. Although every now and then, they'd chuck in a street fight or two, aways comming out on top and unscathed. But it was fun, and none of them would change it for the world.
