Mala Barton's POV:

"Mala Amber Barton! Wake up you're going to be late and we both know you don't want that!" My father calls up to me. I spring out of my cocoon of covers and grab my lanyard with my admission to the comic con as a contest participant.  

"You okay up there Mala? there is a lot of noise." My father calls worry and concern laced in his voice. I quickly change into my Black Widow shirt and sling my Captain America backpack onto my back. i then rush out of my room and slide down the stair banister scaring the crap out of my dad.  "Mala you need to stop doing that! did you hear that the Avengers are the judges for the Fan-fiction competition?" My dad asked me a smirk on his face. "Oh brilliant! Anything else I need to know?!" I ask my stress levels rising. My dad just smiles and we both get in the car and head to the city center.  "Mala, you need to relax you already have all the knowledge you need to know. I'm sure that they do have skill checks and knowledge checks. " Dad hints to me because he was there yesterday to help set things up.  As I sit in the car my head is going through everything I should know about the Avengers and their backgrounds, their lines running through my head like a song on repeat.

"Ah James! is that your daughter in the car?" I hear a man ask, I look outside the window and see that it is Chris Hemsworth in his Thor Costume. "Yes that is my daughter." dad says smiling.  

"If I may... What is your daughter's pen-name and is she entered in the competition?" He asked. My dad looks to as if he was asking permission to tell the Thunderer.  I nod my head basically letting my dad know that it was okay. "Her pen-name is American Soldier and yes she was entered into the competition." my dad answered. "I have read her's it is very good, the insults were very clever." Chris complements making me smile.
