Devans P.O.V
    I wake up the next morning with the sun shining in my face. "Wait the sun shines in Collins' room in the morning not mine."

    I lay in bed and try to decide if I should get up and have food. I'm still hungry, if not more hungry then ever but my teeth still hurt and I don't know if I'll be able to stomach anything.

    Finally the sun becomes to hot and there's no where on my bed I can go to escape it, so I jump off and walk downstairs.

     I see Collins on the couch on his phone. "Colwins?" His head shoots up right away and he looks over at me. "Hey bud" he looks at me for a second then "come here man, don't just stand on the stairs."

     I walk off the last few steps and climb up on the couch next to Collins. He puts his hand on my head "how did you sleep?" I shrug "good I gwuess. What time is it?" He looks down at his phone "2:30" I stare in shock "2:30??" He nods and picks me up putting me in his lap "yup, you slept past me you little bugger."

    I lay my head down on his chest "where's mom and dad?" "They had to go in to work today." he says while rubbing my back. "Dad had some important meetings he couldn't miss, and mom has to make up work from yesterday."

     He pauses "by the way how are you feeling? Do you think you can eat or drink?" In response to the sound of food my stomach growls. Collins gives me a amused look "is that a yes to food?" I shrug. "You still hurt?" Nodding I push myself off of his chest and find what had caught my attention. "That stupid fly!" I try to catch it but it's to fast.

    "How about you try something soft like, I know this is bad, but something like jello?" I stop trying to catch the fly and stare at him "you'wl wet me have jelwo?!" Realizing he made a bad move Collins try's to correct himself.

    "I said something like jello! Not necessarily jello! Something like yogurt." I put on a sad face hoping Collins will give in and let me have jello. "No! That won't work! Your sad face won't make me change my mind! You can have yogurt." I sigh and give up.

Collins picks me up and sets me on the ground. "Go to the bathroom and I'll get you some food."

Collins P.O.V
"I can't believe Devan slept until 2:30! Those drugs must have really taken him away." I think to myself while I go to the fridge and pull out some yogurt and a spoon from the drawer. "Poor guy."

Going back to the couch and sitting down I have a flashback to last night.

Flashback (still Collins P.O.V)

After Devan crys himself to sleep on my chest I put him down on his bed and pull the covers up over him.

Walking downstairs I see mom and dad still at the table talking with my food waiting. Starving I sit down and start gulping down the food. Mom looks closely at me "why were you up there for so long? And why is your sweatshirt wet?"

Swallowing the food in my mouth I decide to answer both questions at once. "Devan was crying." Concern shoots across both of their faces "why?" I shrug "he said he was in pain. Oh and the reason he wasn't eating or drinking is because of the pain and he feels like throwing up at the thought of having anything."

They share a look and I see tears forming in the corner of moms eyes. Dad must have seen it to because he rubs moms arm. "Is he sleeping?" I nod with my food half way to my mouth. "Yeah he just fell asleep." and I put the waiting food finally in my mouth.

"Collins your mother and I still have to go into work tomorrow." I frown "but tomorrow is Saturday." Mom nods "we know, it's just you father has meetings he can't miss and I have to make up work from skipping part of today." I nod and put more food in my mouth. "That means you'll have to watch Devan again." I shrug "ok, I can do that." Mom and dad smile at me "thank you so much Collins." I smile back at them "no problem."

End of flashback (still Collins P.O.V)

Devan comes back and I hand him the food. "Take it easy man." He nods and climbs back up onto the couch with me. "Can we watch the office?" he asks while opening up the yogurt. I smile and turn on Netflix to where we last left off.

I watch him closely as he takes his first few bites. He seems to be hesitant at first but soon starts eating like a starved man. "Slow down a bit bud." He does by slowing down about 0.2 seconds between bites.

I chuckle and ruffle his hair. "Breathe Devan." But Devan has his attention glued to the screen and the show and doesn't seem to hear me. "That or he doesn't really care."

    When he's done, which is about 1 minute later, I ask "what do you want to do today?" He shrugs "when wiwl mom and dad be home?" I take the leftovers from him and set them down on the coffee table "the same time as always. Around 6."

    He shrugs again and leans against me "I can't thwink of anything." Nodding I put my arms around him "ok, well tell me when you do." He nods and snuggles into my side. "Guess we won't really be doing anything today."

"Do you kinda just wanna ease back into everything for right now?" Devan nods. "Ok, but how about we put in a movie?" He looks up at me confused "why?" "So if we fall asleep we won't miss anything." He nods and leaves my side going to pick out a movie.

After he puts it in he walks back over and snuggles up to me again. "What did you put?" He smiles "Your just gonna have to waiwt and see!" I grunt unhappily and Devan giggles into my side "you'wl wike it."

I recognize it almost as soon as the commercials start "Is it pirates of the Caribbean?!" Devan nods into my side. "Nice choice."

Looking down after a while I see Devan fast asleep. Smiling I ruffle his hair then lay down on the couch keeping the small boy close to my chest.

I don't remember falling asleep but I must have because I wake up when I hear my name and Devans name being called.
