Patton arrives at school after the long bus ride, thanking the driver, he gets off the bus and walks on campus. He slips his ID lanyard over his neck, a smile present on his lips.

For long dull weeks he'd been waiting to see the lights of highschool for what feels like forever now.

He'd been on edge on the idea of making friends, which made him excited and anxious at the same time.

He really didn't want to be the outcast again, the nice gullible one that was always token for granted..

Patton didn't always see it that way though.

Passing by the entrance, he noticed how the grass grew, it was radiant in the morning sun. He felt so glad it was another magnificent morning; the cold breeze flew by, the soft muttered of fellow students around him.

It's just another day.

Funny how most people dread this day while this boy looked forward to the first day of school.

Making his way to his locker, he smiles at the now slightly faded dog and cat stickers that littered his locker door as he unlocked it and swung It open as the bell rang.
