To walk away or stay,
A decision I must make today.

My heart is filled with doubt.
Should I stay or should I bow out?

The possibility of pain is causing me to refrain.

Love can be a double-edged sword often leaving you with wounds that can't be ignored.

Yet ..what is life without love?
Empty and lonely, like a hand without a glove.

To stay is to take a chance, experience a love-filled romance.

Regret can weigh heavy on the heart..if I choose to walk away from the start.

So I will stay and take the chance.
Let my heart lead the dance.

if I end up hurt...
At least my heart will have seen the worth.
