*4 months later*

April 13th:

"So," said Skye as she slid next to Rose on the couch in the living room of the Bus.

"So what?" Rose asked as she poured over wedding magazines looking for flowers.

"Your wedding is in two days and you still don't have flowers?"

Rose sighed, "well I thought we were going to have this done by now but then we just got so busy. Maybe I'll have my mum do the flowers."

Skye nodded, "that way you can relax and tomorrow Jemma and I will treat you to mani-pedis and your bachelorette party."

Rose smiled and closed her eyes as she leaned into the couch, "relaxing sounds amazing, but I probably won't be able to relax until after my wedding."

"Do you know where you'll be living yet?"

Rose nodded and sat up excitedly, "yes! John and I bought ourselves a small house in Sheffield. It's in the country so whenever you guys want to visit, you can land the Bus there. We've already done most of the work like painting and I've already moved all my stuff in. All that's left is to buy furniture like sofas and tables and chairs."

Skye clapped her hands together, "Oh Rose that sounds perfect!"

"I know, I can't wait for you guys to see it, it's gorgeous! Oh and the nursery and guest rooms are to die for!"

Skye put her hands on Rose's lap, "You and John are going to have kids?"

Rose thought for a moment before answering her, "we talked about it and we decided that we do want kids. We just think we might wait a few months and get settled first, unlike other couples who have kids as soon as they get married."

Skye smiled as she looked at her friend fondly, "so, boys or girls?"

"I just want a healthy baby," Rose laughed, "but we've already come up with names that we both love. If it's a girl, Donna Sarah Smith and if it's a boy, Jack Peter Smith."

"Oh those are so cute! Friends from the parallel world I presume?"

Rose nodded sadly, "yes. Donna doesn't remember the doctor anymore but she helped create, I guess you could call it, John. Sarah Jane was one of the Doctor's earlier companions, she's very nice. And then Jack is one of our dear friends, even though he can be a bit weird at times," Rose laughed.

*the next day*

"So Rose," said Jemma as they walked back to the Bus after their shopping spree and mani-pedis, "are you ready for your party tonight?"

Rose nodded although she was a little worried, "you're not gonna make me get real drunk and then have someone pop out of a cake are you?"

Skye laughed, "not at all! We have something much more fun in mind. Now go put your stuff in your bunk and change into a t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers."

Rose and Jemma put their bags on their beds while Skye walked over to Ward and put her arms around him. "Hey."

"Hey there," he said as he placed an arm around her.

"What do you have planned for John's party tonight? Should I be worried?"

He laughed, "I can't tell you, but don't worry, nothing crazy."

"You can't tell me?" she asked, sticking out her bottom lip.

"Nope!"

She started to kiss his cheek, "you should tell me."

He ignored all the kisses that she was giving to his face and focused on the book he was reading, "I can't."

She kissed his chin and moved to his lips, but didn't kiss him, "tell me."

He looked her firmly in the eyes and felt his will dissolve. He sighed as her cocoa eyes pleaded, "fine, we're going to go play paintball."

She laughed, "that's amazing! We're taking Rose to laser tag."

"Fun," he said as he stole a quick kiss from her.

She pulled back after a few minutes of stolen kisses and said, "I should go, the girls are probably wondering where I am. We'll probably get back late, so I'll see you at the wedding tomorrow."

He smiled, "alright, have fun."

"Alright Rose, you can take your blindfold off now!"

Rose pulled the blindfold off and crossed her fingers hoping that they weren't going to do anything stupid or dangerous. She gasped and put a hand over her mouth when she saw where they were.

"No way!" she laughed, "laser tag is the best!"

"Here's the best part," added May who was also a part of putting this party together, "guess who else is playing with us."

"Who?"

May smirked, "I may or may not have called in the females behind the Avengers. Tonight also playing with us are none other than Natasha Romanov, Maria Hill, and Pepper Potts, the best of the best at S.H.I.E.L.D."

Rose clapped, remembering the amazing week that they had spent at Stark Tower when she met all of the Avengers, "that's amazing."

"And," added Jemma, "we have the entire arena to ourselves this time."

Rose's jaw dropped, "this place is huge!"

Skye nodded eagerly, "it's six stories high with a different theme on each level. Level one is themed like the forest, level two is themed like a medieval castle, level three is themed like the Jurassic era with a bunch of dinosaurs, level four is themed like outer space with space ships and planets to hide behind, level five is themed like under the sea, and level six is a mirror maze. Talk about epic awesomess!"

Rose giggled from all of the excitement, "let's do this!"
