"Hey rookie, you're early this morning," remarked Ward as he saw Skye come down the stairs for training.

"Yeah well, you forgot something in the lab," she said as she shrugged her shoulders.

He looked at her, confused, "what did I forget?"

She walked over to him, "this."

She wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him. He responded immediately, wrapping his arms around her waist. Skye pulled away and rested her forehead against his, breathing heavily and smiling.

"I knew it!"

They looked up to see Coulson standing by the railings, "May owes me twenty bucks!" he said as he ran away.

"I guess mom and dad had a bet to see how long it would take for us to get together," she grinned up at him. "If that's what you want, I mean," she added awkwardly.

"Skye, I have liked you for a very long time. Now that I have you, I'm not letting you go."

"Good," she said with a smile, "otherwise this would've been awkward," and she kissed him again.

"Turns out you were right," Skye said to Jemma in the lab, "as usual."

"What was she right about?" asked Fitz.

"That Ward liked me," she shrugged.

"Oh, anyone could've told you that Skye," Jemma rolled her eyes. "It was so obvious that you two were crazy for each other that you might as well've had big flashing signs above your heads saying "I'M IN LOVE WITH" with an arrow."

Skye grimaced, "really?"

"Yes," said Coulson from the lab doorway.

"Oh hey AC, I know that protocol says-"

He stopped her, "as long as it doesn't interfere with missions then I'm fine with it."

She smiled, "thanks, so why did May owe you twenty dollars?"

"Oh she and I had a bet," he stated simply. "I said you would make the first move, she said Ward would. Looks like I know you two better than she does. I came in here to talk to you all, May and Ward will be joining us shortly."

"We're here," said May.

"What's up?" said Grant as he walked over to Skye and stood next to her.

"I think you all may be excited about this one," Coulson smiled excitedly as he lay down a file on the examination table in the lab. "There's been another massive energy surge on the coast of Norway. Bad Wolf Bay."

"Do you think Rose is back?" Skye asked excitedly.

Coulson nodded, "I do, but we shouldn't get our hopes up, we don't know what it could be, we're just supposed to go in and investigate. I've already had May set the coordinates, we should be there in just over an hour. Dismissed."

Skye and Ward left the lab. "Do you think Rose is back?" asked Skye.

"Well, I hope so."

"I would feel really bad for her if she got stranded here again, without the Doctor, though."

"Me too, but at least she'll have us," he reminded her with a smirk and a shrug.

"I suppose you're right."

"Spread out and look for Rose guys!" shouted Skye from the beach. They'll looked for her for just about fifteen minutes when Fitz finally spoke up, "guys I found her! But I think she's a bit busy right now..."

"What do you mean?" asked Skye as she walked towards him, brushing her hair out of the way as the wind blew it against her face.

Fitz pointed towards the beach and Skye saw Rose kissing a man in a blue suit while an older woman, possibly her mother, stood by them looking at a quickly disappearing blue box.

"Who is that?"

"It's the Doctor," said Grant as he joined them, "but that doesn't make sense. The TARDIS just left without him, that's not supposed to happen."

They walked down to the three people a few minutes later.

"Grant!" Shouted Rose as she ran to him, "it's so good to see you again!"

"You too Rosie," he chuckled as she hugged him, "but I think there are some more people here who want to say hello," she pulled away from him and looked behind him.

"Skye! Jemma!" she ran to them and hugged them both tightly.

Next she ran to Fitz and Coulson and hugged them both, then going to May and shaking her hand with a warm smile, "it's great to see you again."

"You too, Rose."

"This is my mum," said Rose as she pointed towards the other woman on the beach who waved at them, "and this is the meta-crisis Doctor."

"Meta-crisis?" asked Ward.

"I'm like a duplicate, or a genetic copy of the Doctor," explained the Doctor.

"So you're not actually him?" Jemma asked skeptically.

"I still have all of his memories and I'm exactly like him in every way except for the fact that I only have one heart, so I can actually grow old," he explained.

"So...you remember me?" asked Grant.

"I do, Grant Ward, Rose and I picked you up in Wyoming when you were fifteen years old and brought you here, and then we met the lovely Simmons family," he turned to Jemma and waved at her with a smile, "hello again Jemma. It's lovely to see you again as well."

Jemma smiled, "it's wonderful to see you again too, Doctor."

He held up his hand, "I think that since I'm permanently in this world now, I shouldn't keep going by the Doctor."

"You want to change your name?" asked Rose as she turned to look at him.

He nodded, "what do you think about John Smith, Rose Tyler?"

She smiled at him, "I think it's a lovely name."

"So, shall we take you three back to the bus while you figure everything out?" Coulson interrupted.

"Thanks but I'll pass, I've got to get back to Pete," said Jackie Tyler, Rose's mom.

"We'll come though!" said Rose enthusiastically.

"Right this way then."
