GOTHAM WAS A BREEDING GROUND FOR MADNESS, a place where crime festers in every shadowed alley and the line between sanity and insanity blurs. Here the villains are not born—they're made, molded by the city's harsh environment into something darker and more deranged. This was the reason for the old faith; Religion of Crime decided to infestate itself into Gotham.

And with them, they brought their beliefs in ancient prophecies and reversed evil as the only guiding force one needed. One of those ancient prophecies is that one day, the mother of sin will arise once again, this time taking her place within a girl. A girl named after the first mother, with a mark on her hand, the hand that will serve them. That just happens to be Eve Han.

All while  Alice just happens to be on her way climbing through the ranks of the criminally insane. And when she realizes what the Religion of Crime was planning on doing, an idea is brought to life. Gotham will be wonderland ❪I mean, they're all mad here am I right?❫, and all she's missing is something—someone—she needed the creature that once lurked Wonderland. The Jabberwocky. And that just happens to be Eve Han.

And that is why, Eve Han is a tale of woe. Always fated for tragedy, in every narrative. Oh, what a beautiful tragedy she was.

❥ welcome to through the looking glass, yes its from alice in wonderland, and yes its solely because of that why i decided to make another fic 🤡 AIW is one of my favorite stories/movies, its just so fascinating to me. The OG idea was just a character inspired from AIW, but since Alice (Bette Kane) canonically exists in DC and is connected to the Religion of Crime, so I just went ahead and will expand that part of DC.

❥ SHE DOES NOT HAVE POWERS. I know I used Jean Grey aka one of MARVEL's powerful powered gals but it's just for the aesthetic of it? Eve dyes her hair red because thats the only memory of her old self she has (its gonna be explained why in the future chapters) Plus I always write OCs with powers so this is a new one for me, so yeah lets see how it goes!

❥ Jay and Eve are childhood besties, they grew up in crime alley and the day Jason was adopted by Bruce, Eve went missing! Now Lilith sees Jason as her enemy, especially since Lilith is a killing machine forced to follow orders given to her and Jason stops an assassination she was suppose to carry out.
