A/N - Hey guys and welcome to Chapter Twelve. Picture of Sandra ^^^^^

——- Beth's P.O.V ——-

Did last night actually happen? I swear Max pulled me into his arms just before I fell asleep or did I dream that part? If he did then possibly there's hope of him feeling the same way. Then again I have no idea if he actually has a girlfriend but if he does then why was he so cuddly with me yesterday? Ugh, this makes no sense anymore. It didn't make any sense to begin with but now I am just thinking about it and making everything even more confusing than it already was. Maybe I should tell Max this morning, I mean what's the worst that could happen?

I wake up and feel two arms around my waist along with hands interlocked on my stomach. I turn my head slightly and see Max sleeping like a baby, he looks to cute. I go to fall asleep again but I'm interrupted by a knock at the front door. Max isn't awake yet and I don't think he will be bothered by me opening the door. I gently remove his arms from around me and get out of bed. I run a hand through my hair as I walk through the apartment, as I'm walking I notice that it's 11am. Wow, we slept that long?

I open the door and a girl is standing there. Not just a girl a beautiful girl. You see the thing is I know her, her name is Sandra and she is Max's ex-girlfriend. According to Max she was super clingy and never agreed to travel with him whilst filming Catfish even though Bailey and Lewis said that she could. She looks me up and down and then crosses her arms "Who might you be?" she asks acting like she has power over me, oh sweetie you have no such thing "I'm Beth. Don't bother introducing yourself I know who you are" I say.

She scoffs and looks me up and down again "Well I'm here to see Max so how about you move out of the way and I can find him" she says making a move to push past me "Oh I don't think so" I say blocking the door "I may know who you are but I am not letting you in this flat. Especially when Max isn't awake" I say and she shakes her head in annoyance "You should know Beth" she says spitting my name as if it was poison "You are nothing to Max; he will use you and then dump you. You're nothing special; Max doesn't have someone special in his life. It's always meaningless" she says and I roll my eyes "Clearly you don't know Max" I say.

Just as she's about to say something else I hear footsteps behind me. I turn around to see Max looking barely awake in only a pair of shorts. He stands next to me and puts an arm around my shoulder causing Sandra to glare at me once again "What are you doing here?" Max asks clearly confused but he also looks so cute with his hair all ruffled. I run a hand through his hair to make it a little presentable and he kisses my forehead as a thank you "Aren't you two sweet" she says and Max chuckles "I could never say the same with you" Max says and her mouth drops open.

Sandra crosses her arms again "Look Max. I'm here because without you I have been so unhappy, I have been so lonely. I know I said I would never travel with you but whilst you have been away I have decided that I will travel with you if it means I can be with you again" she says and Max scoffs in disgust "Sandra we broke up because you were clingy. I don't want to be with someone that is clearly after the small amount of fame that comes with being who I am" he says and Sandra sighs.

Sandra then turns to me with fire in her eyes "And what? This is the girl you have feeling for now? Compare her to me; she is nothing compared to me. I would be so much better for you than her" she says and Max shakes his head "All have you know Sandra. I do have feelings for Beth" he says and my heart jumps whilst my stomach does somersaults. He likes me? He has feelings for me? Why me? If what he's saying is true then that's a complete surprise. The girl standing opposite me now, despite how much of a bitch she is and her lack of manners she has so much more in the way of looks than me.

I look up to Max and smile before turning to face the now crestfallen Sandra "Just leave my apartment Sandra. I don't want to see you here again" Max says shutting the door and then turning to face me looking a little sheepish. Before Max says anything I press my lips to his, he's surprised at first but soon kisses me back. When we pull away we're both a little breathless "What was that for?" Max asks placing his hands on my waist "You said to Sandra that you had feelings for me. You aren't someone to lie about things like that. Therefore that was my way of telling you I feel the same" I say and he smiles.

Max takes my hand and leads me to the couch. We both sit down and face each other "Will you be my girlfriend Beth? You feel the same and I don't want any guy to call you his" he says and I giggle a little at his words "I would love to be your girlfriend Max" I say and he pulls me into his lap "Are you sure about this though? I know you have just found out about the Lucas situation and I don't want to rush you into anything" he says and I nod "Max I am over Lucas considering he never even existed. You are the best guy I could ever imagine being with" I say and he pulls me into another kiss.

Uhm, looks like I got what I wanted today. At this point I can't believe he's being serious but I know Max well enough to know that he isn't the type of guy to lie to a girl about something as serious as feelings or a relationship.
