A/N - Hey guys and welcome to Chapter Ten. Gif of Max ^^^^^

——- Max's P.O.V ——-

I can finally leave New York, Beth is coming back to Los Angeles with me because Hannah and Nev are still in England and I have no idea when they're coming back but so far they're doing okay. I think that Beth is still a little shaken up about her whole experience with Shaun; when Shaun got out of that car I knew he was there to hurt Hannah whether it be emotionally or physically he wanted revenge on Hannah for her simply leaving him. I kind of want to protect Beth now though, she didn't do anything and she didn't deserve any of the shit that Shaun put her through. I'm not saying that Hannah did though, Hannah went through hell with Shaun and I was glad when she told me he was out of her life.

I wake up when I hear my phone ringing. I sigh and grab my phone off the nightstand.

(M - Max~N - Nev)

M - Hello?

I hear a chuckle on the other end of the phone.

N - Sorry Max. Did I wake you up?

M - Yes, yes you did.

N - I do apologise.

M - What's wrong?

N - I know you're going back to L.A today. I wanted to ask if you wouldn't mind asking Beth to stay at your place whilst Hannah and I are still in England.

M - Sure, I don't mind.

N - Hannah has been bugging me about it. She's worried that Beth is still nervous about what happened and with the whole seeing Shaun again because Shaun was still a dick to Beth when he was dating Hannah.

M - Beth does still seem shaken up; I have been thinking that since you left.

N - Thanks Max. Have a good flight and Hannah and I should be back in L.A within the next couple of weeks. Hannah has missed home a lot so she wants to stay here for a little longer.

M - Sounds fun Nev. See you later.

I hang the phone up and get out of bed. I have a shower and just change into whatever is clean. I pack my suitcase and by the time I finish making sure that I haven't forgotten everything and my room is tidier than it was when I woke up it is time to leave for the airport.

I leave my room and knock on Beth's room. It's just me and her travelling today, the crew, Bailey and Lewis went home a couple days ago because they stopped filming and they didn't need to stay with us anymore. I am pretty grateful that they aren't filming anymore, I don't mind getting filmed but sometimes I prefer to relax and just chill out at the airport without cameras everywhere. Beth opens the door and smiles at me "Let's fly home" she says grabbing her suitcase and we both walk down to the reception.

After we checked out it was around an hours drive to the airport. We're here now and have checked in, the plane doesn't leave for two hours but there has been another 2 hour delay so Beth and I are now stuck at the gate for 4 hours. Plus, Beth looks shattered and the seats aren't the most comfortable ones to sleep in. We both sit down and dump our stuff on the floor, Beth rests her head on my shoulder and I put my arm around her so that she is a bit more comfortable "Hey Beth" I say and she cuddles into me more "Do you want to stay at mine until Hannah and Nev get back?" I ask and she looks up at me for a moment "Let me guess. Hannah suggested it to you" she says and I nod "She suggested it to Nev, Nev called me and here I am asking you" I say and she giggles "I would love to Maxie" she says resting her head back on my shoulder.

So Beth is now asleep and I have just had a massive and I mean massive realisation. I have feelings for Beth; I don't even think it's a harmless little crush, I think it's full blown falling. I have no idea if I have always felt like this though. I have known Beth for such a long time, I knew that I would never have any feelings for Hannah but Beth is just something different. She is pretty much the polar opposite to Hannah. Hannah is a quiet, less feisty person when you first meet her but once she gets to know you and gets more comfortable with you then she becomes the Hannah I know and love. Although as soon as you meet Beth you can tell that she doesn't take crap from anyone, you can say whatever you want to her but the minute you say something about her sister then you may want to run a mile.

I don't even have the slightest clue if she feels the same or how to tell her. Also I don't know how Hannah will react if Beth and I do date but that's getting ahead of myself.

——- Beth's P.O.V ——-

The flight wasn't that bad. I think I slept on Max for the most part. We're on our way to his place now. I am surprised at the fact that I slept like that though. He is one of my closet friends but lately, since I met him in person I have been getting this fuzzy kind of feeling inside me whenever he talks to me, smiles at me, hugs me or even looks my way. It's so confusing because I thought that I was in love with Lucas who turned out to be Shaun and those feelings have gone out the window.

What I felt for Lucas is what I believe to be puppy love at this point. Lucas was someone that Shaun made up, Shaun wanted to get revenge on my sister therefore he targeted the one person she cares about most which is me. I know how fondly Hannah spoke of me to Shaun, what he did is not something I agree with because it has honestly hurt me. I never want to see him again.

But I can't figure out my feelings right now. Am I feeling like this because Max has been comforting me? Or am I feeling like this because it's true? I honestly have no clue.
