"She's dead?" Percy asked with much concern.

"No.. no she isn't." Nico touched her. He thought hard about her, she didn't seem to be dead to him.

The others were confused, but they had to take Nico's word for it. They knew they had to trust him, but it was clear that he had a great chance of being wrong.

"Guys might wanna leave... Hazel, you can stay." He said as he pushed them out the door.

Hazel sat in the corner of the room, away from her brother, just to be safe. Nico smiled as he turned to Pearl. 

"You can stop pretending now." He said as he put his hand on her arm.

Pearl sat up and looked at the two in the room. She stared at Nico, she figured that she knew who his dad was.

"Thanks, Can I go now?" Pearl said as she swung her legs over the bed. She stared at Hazel, staring in awe.

"No, you're still staying here," Nico said.

She frowned as she looked at them. She knew she didn't belong, she didn't want to stay, but that clearly wasn't happening. She crossed her arms and stood up.

She walked towards the door and opened it, to see everyone on the doorsteps, she walked down them and turned around the building quickly, she broke into a run, hoping that the others wouldn't see her. She realized she was heading to the beach, but now, she had no choice, she heard running feet behind her, so she had to hurry. Pearl ran to the water, nowhere else to go, except in. She walked into the water, feeling better by the second, and finally, the water was up to her head.

She couldn't turn back now, so she swam on.
