"Child of Poseidon? Direct sister?" Clarrise said as she came by. "Whoa."

Percy stared, he realized now that before he had said that Pearl's parents must've been real doofs to leave her behind. Now he knew, he was talking about his own.

Pearl stood there shaking. Fear perhaps? Percy didn't know. They all stared as she walked down the steps. Pearl walked towards the lake. She sat down on the ground and pulled her legs in. 

The others watched her and then back to Percy. 

"Any ideas?" Solace came by with Nico by his side. 

"For what?" Annabeth questioned him.

"Her," Nico said for him.

They turned their heads to see Pearl staring at the water, it was overlapping her feet. A crowd crowded around her, everyone stared in awe. They stepped closer, still a good distance away, but close.

Every time the wave came over her feet, an aura appeared around her. Each time, it got bigger, brighter. They would watch and then she finally turned around, the aura disappeared. 

"What are you guys looking at?" Pearl turned to them.

"Nothing..." They said together.

"Creeps," She said under her breath.

Pearl turned back to the waves, some of the crowd dispersed; it was only the 7 left, Will, Nico, and Calypso. They sat down around her, Pearl could feel the presence of 10 people.

"What do you guys want?" She asked a little harshly.

"Nothing." said Leo.

The others sat with her. She seemed to want to move away, but she couldn't. There was nowhere to go. She would edge one one way, but someone would be there.

There was a hand on her shoulder. She turned and saw a kind hand. It was Will's.

"Pearl's, you need your rest, I can tell you've been out too long. In the rain all day right?" Will asked.

"H- How did you know?" She stuttered.

"He is the son of Apollo, what can ya do?" Leo shrugged as he answered.

"Hey, Valdez. Cool it." Nico said as he turned to Pearl's.

Will took Pearl's hand and pulled her up to her feet. He dragged her to his cabin. "You're coming with me Pearl." He would constantly say.

Pearl would just follow, but Will would go faster and faster. Until she would just have to run after him. His grip was like steel to her wrist. It hurt, and it was stifling.

"Look, I don't need you to baby me." She said as she finally got him to release her.

"Yes I do, it's my job!" He said as he put his hands on her shoulders.

"I... no, I'm not a member here." She said quietly.

"Yes, you will be." Nico had been behind her. "Look, from experience, I wouldn't turn the place down, it is one of the best places you'll ever find."

"N-no." The word rolled off her tongue.

"Um... this ain't good," Solace said.

"What isn't?" Percy caught up.

"Whoa!" Will caught Pearl in his arms. "That."

He picked her up and brought Pearl inside. In the corner of the cabin was a bed, Will set her down on it. He covered her with a blanket. 

"How come she looks like she isn't breathing?" Piper came and joined them.

"I don't know." Will put his hand on her chest. "She is still breathing though."

"Are you sure about that?" Jason entered and pointed at her.

Everyone entered to see a young girl laying down in the bed, her eyes closed, hands on her chest, her skin cold and colorless.
