Percy walked towards his cabin to get ready for a dinner. He made his bed and took out some things, wondering about Pearl over everything else. He watched the ornaments from Tyson on the ceiling. He didn't know what to think. When he started to think about it, he realized that perhaps Pearl was his sister. Why wouldn't she be? Her name was Pearl, a gemstone of the sea. Alongside that, her name was similar to Percy's. 

He walked out of Cabin 3 to the dining hall, where he sat lonesome at his table. Pearl walked by him. She walked a few more steps but decided to turn around.  

"Hey Percy, can I sit here?" She asked as she put down her tray.

"I guess." He said as he glanced at the crowded Hermes table. "It wouldn't hurt."

  "Come on Pearl, let's go give an offering." He walked towards the camp fire.

"Oh, um okay?" She followed.

Percy dumped the part of the meal he would most likely not eat. He knew it was sneaky, but to be fair. He didn't like it, but his dad might. Pearl did the exact same thing as Percy, she didn't know what was going on, all she knew was that she had to follow one person.  

Percy walked back to his table, Pearl walked with him. Silently they would look at each other. Percy stared at Pearl's features, they were look-alikes. Twins almost, but she was still different. He thought about these things as he sat down and watched as Pearl did too.

"So, what is this place?" Pearl asked.

"Basically, it is a place for demigo-" He stopped talking.

"For what?" Pearl asked again.

Chiron came over. "Percy what is go-" he stopped mid-sentence. "Another child eh?"

Percy looked towards him. "My sister?"

"What? What is it?" Pearl looked at them, but they didn't meet her eyes. They were all staring at a hovering image over her head.

"Um.... you know how I was just telling you about, well you know, what this camp is for?" Percy asked her.

"Yeah, demigods?" She looked at Chiron. "Figures, you are Greek I'm guessing? Yes?" 

How is she taking this so calmly? Percy wondered as he stared at his sister. Half sister right? That was underestimated, Pearl looked like Percy, somewhat. Okay, more like completely. They could pull off being twins, except one was quite a few years older.

"Correct." Chiron was startled as well.

Pearl watched as they stared in astonishment. They only stared at something her, she took the hint to do the same. There was an image, a triton hovering over her head. It started to fade, Pearl looked once more and tried her best to remember the strange image hovering over her head.

"So... um, what's that for?" She asked.

"You just got claimed, you're my half sister," Percy said quietly.

"Percy.... Percy Jackson?" She asked.

"Yeah, why?" He asked curiously as he watched her carefully.

"I'm Pearl Jackson." She replied as she stared at her new, long-lost brother.
