Michiya's POV

'Dad's late again' I thought to myself, this started when he had gotten his job and it makes me irritated. My food that I prepared for him is now cold...again. As I was about to go to bed, the door opened and in came dad. I have decided to confront him about this problem because he seemed so restless day by day.

When he sat down on the couch, I stopped in front of him. "Dad, are you okay? You're getting restless day by day..." I asked him, he glared at me in response. "I don't want to talk about it Michi." He said, but instead of listening I pestered him to tell me cuz I am worried for him.

"Ever since you had gotten this job... your always 'Don't get involved at this. Don't get involved at that.' What really am I to you?! A mere servant?!?!" I yelled as my voice started to crack. I was surprised when I found myself on the floor as he slapped me hard. "JUST MIND YOUR OWN DAMN BUSINESS YOU UNGRATEFULL BRAT!!! YOU ARE A GIRL! YOU CANNOT DEFEND YOUR SELF IF YOU GET INVOLVED IN THIS!"

This get my blood boil, just because I am a girl doesn't mean he could do anything. "WHAT IS YOUR JOB ANYWAY?!?! WHY ARE YOU SO IRRITATED WHEN I STARTED TO ASK THIS HUH?!?! IS IT SOMETHING ILLEGAL?! AT THE TIME YOU NEVER RECEIVED THIS JOB YET, YOU ARE SOO UNDERSTANDING AND CARING!! WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT DAD NOW?!" I snapped at him.

"I BROUGHT YOU IN THIS WORLD TOGETHER WITH YOUR MOTHER SO I CAN TAKE YOU OUT! YOU'RE JUST A MERE TOOL MICHI GET THAT THROUGHT YOUR THICK HEAD! YOUR USELESS! AND A DISAPOINTMENT!" He exclaimed, I had enough and punched his face hard hoping for him to realize how wrong he is and run towards my room.

Fukuchi's POV

"I BROUGHT YOU IN THIS WORLD TOGETHER WITH YOUR MOTHER SO I CAN TAKE YOU OUT! YOU'RE JUST A MERE TOOL MICHI GET THAT THROUGHT YOUR THICK HEAD! YOUR USELESS! AND A DISAPOINTMENT!" I snapped but then she punched me square on the face and I gotta admit that is one hell of a punch.

I watched my daughter run in her room as I hold my bleeding nose and sighed. 'I can't believe I said that to her... I should've just told her the truth about my job but I was a huge coward. I sat back down in sadness. 'I hope she forgive me...'

Though as I was thinking that, there's a heavy pain in my chest that I couldn't explain... something like, some event will happen that I will really regret but I shook away my thought. 'It's just probably my imagination.'

I looked at my daughter's room one last time before I lay down. 'I'll just apologies tomorrow... I'm tired.'

Third POV

Michiya was packing her things quietly. 'I'll escape... the choice I have is to go to Fukuzawa... the dad I know is no longer in this place and he won't come back again. Even though he will apologies... there is no guaranty that he won't do it again.' Michiya wiped her tears as she quietly hissed when she accidentally grazed her bruise that her father had made.

'Fuck him, I'm outa here.' she climbed out of her window and run to the direction as to where Tecchou is waiting for her since, she had informed him before the fight that she had something to say to him but it was eventually no need for her to tell him since she already confronted her father. When she arrived, she immediately cried on Tecchou's chest saying sorry over and over.

"Hey, hey, Michi, what happened? Why is there a bruise at your face?!" He said in worry as he grabbed a patch from his pocket and started tending the bruise. "Tecchou...I'm leaving..." His eyes widened. "Why...?" Michiya averted her gaze. "I'm sorry... but please... promise me that you'll wait for me?" Michiya said with hope in her tone.

Without knowledge, Tecchou intertwined their hands as he leaned his head towards Michiya "I will as long as you also promise..." Michiya smiled.

"Michiya... you're leaving?" A mint haired girl jumped down from the tree as the two immediately let go in surprise. "Don't scare us like that!"
