Atsushi’s POV

I was nervous, what if the port mafia leader will kill me on the spot? What if they will torture me? WHAT IF THEY WILL SHOOT ME IN THE HEAD LIKE DAZAI-SAN SAID?!?! What if-

“EEEEKKKKKK!!!!” I shrieked when I felt a hand on my shoulder. “Wah! Chill It’s just me.” I saw the familiar face of Ei-san. “Ei-san?! What are you doing here?! I thought only one person were to go?!” I exclaimed to which she sighed in helplessness?...

“You read it don’t you? Ito namang bata to…” [This child…]

I didn’t quite understand what she said, it is a new language to me. “Have you remembered the part of someone who will know the words in the letter?” I blinked in realization, but I brightened up because I’m not alone to go anymore! “Don’t worry about being killed, if it is someone I think it is then you’ll be fine.” She assured me.

‘Someone she knows?’

I was still a bit nervous even Ei were here, a few minutes later though we’ve managed to arrive. The scenery was unexpected, it was breathe taking. It was also relaxing but it were ruined when someone interrupted.

“Pretty ain’t it?” I jumped in surprise as I was face to faced with a light brown haired girl, her bangs were covering her one eye.
“Nakajima Atsushi? And…” She looked at Ei, she seemed like analyzing her. “Sev, it’s so good to see you too.” She stated with a smile. ‘Sev? Do they know each other?’ I thought to myself.

“I was right! It is really you!” Ei exclaimed with a tiny smile. “Fret not Atsushi-kun! She’s one of my best friends that I considered as my sibling.” She assured me.

“Nice to finally meet you Atsushi! The names Nozomi Rei.” The port mafia boss grinned. “What is your name here Sev?” Ei introduced her name, though I was in shock because the port mafia boss is not formal at all and also had a friendly aura!

“I’ll call you Ai-chan then so it’ll be unique!”

Third POV

Ei, Atsushi and Rei talked to each other while watching the sun raises, but Atsushi accidentally had fallen asleep on Rei’s shoulder. “How’s Osamu doing…?” Rei asked out of blue making Ei look at her.

“Still the same as always being suicidal.” Rei chuckled and sighed. “His gone mad because of you, you know Rei. Me and Yu heard his conversation with Oda.” Ei informed her making her hum.

“I know… I guess I changed his path in life. I’m glad, that at least I made him like that…” Rei breathed out as she leaned on Ei’s shoulder slowly lulled into a slumber. “I wonder what you had in plan in your head Rei, but no matter what it is… me and everyone will stay with you.” She leaned her head on top of Rei’s as she also fell asleep.

‘Through fate, and through our soul…’

As Ei said that in her thought, the others who does not belong in the story stumbled as they suddenly glitched out of nowhere.

‘what was that?’ is the thought that lingered in their head as a unfamiliar warmth was felt in their chest.
