Origin: He worked with his grandfather, who was a master weapon and tool parts blacksmith, showing nick the art of it, but when people are sent to kill his grandfather, they end up killing his grandfather, he fights them and ends up having half his face encased in molten hot steel, he was able to survive, but half his face is now metal with a red glowing eye. Before he left, he grabbed his grandfather's last ever creation, on that was a work of a genius, even for today.
