Chapter one

"Quiet down now would you?" Nazari mumbled, taking a puff of his pipe as they walked. "I have a headache enough without the two of you going on"..

Dazar shook his head. "Here, have this." He replied with a slight smirk, tossing a red bottle towards the old Wizard. "It might lighten your mood."

The young man besides him chuckled, fixing his hood. "I don't think any amount of Elixum could cure Naz. He is always down."

"Well maybe if I didn't have you two to deal with it could." The Eldest of the three huffed.

The young man laughed again.

"I would not test his patience Hemon." Dazar warned. "One laugh is one enough."

"Says you." He replied, eyes glittering. "You're the one that started it."

"Silence." Nazari snapped quietly.

"Yes we know you lik-" Hemon was then interrupted, making him pause his sentence as the Elder Wizard shook his head.

"He is here"....

The young magician's eyes widened as he drew his sword. This , would be the battle of the century.

{Back at an Inn, located in the south of Delnaro....
                                   Two weeks later.

A man of about in his thirties or forties sat in the back of the tavern, a mug of ale in his right hand. And a mop of brown, unkempt hair sat just above his shoulders. To everyone else he went unnoticed, but the vagabond failed to realize that even here he was being watched. By a tall, dark haired Elf in the corner.

"You don't have to watch me anymore Ciran." He huffed in a mumble after a moment. Noticing that a pair of eyes were on him. "I am no longer your prisoner."

The Elf shook his head. "Still, you might be up to your old tricks. Then what should I do Elam? Let you get away again?"

Elam rolled his eyes, taking a drink. "Yes." He replied curtly .

"Think again my friend, for you only wish it." Ciran retorted.

He just shrugged in response, going back to his previous activity. Which was finishing the rather big serving of ale.

Just then the atmosphere of the Inn was interrupted by a messenger hurriedly rushing in. A frantic look in his eyes as he proclaimed the news he traveled so far to bring.

"Magmar has been defeated," He announced, half out of breath as he dropped to his knees. "And the Great Wizard, is dead".

So, what'd you all think? Should I write more or drop this tale completely?

I hope you've enjoyed.
