( CONNIE & ARMIN, 3-WAY)
V.  THE COMPETITION. ‧₊˚♥︎

˚ connie didn't think a girl would linger on his mind for this long. he tried not to think about you as the hours went on, except the task became all the more difficult when lunch time came around, and you were the only topic floating around. you hadn't even done anything, except walk into school with armin. the shit got even worse when it reached connie's lunch table, because eren and jean were acting a fool; per usual.

"damn... armin ain't even denying the accusations..." jean says, whistling. they were sitting inside, which was unusual. they usually sat outside, but since it started snowing; eating outside was prohibited. so here they were, in the loud ass cafeteria where people didn't seem to stop staring.

"on god... ain't she your type? damn, kenna ain't gon be happy bout this one." eren says, bringing up that unnecessary ass name.

"saying the ex name is crazy, i can't lie!" connie says, laughing with eren and jean. why would he miss out on an opportunity to instigate? armin never lifted his head from that damn binder when they were at lunch, so it was funny seeing him whip his head up from it.

"what are you talking about?" armin questions, running his fingers through his hair. "and ex? stop stop trying me, it's getting outta hand."

"y'all saw the way she was glaring at [name] in the hallways earlier? something tells me florida girl ain't winning this one... kenna hits like a man." jean says, shivering as he remembered the last encounter he had with kenna. the bitch attacked him since armin wasn't answering her calls, and the bruise she gave him lasted damn near a month. damn behemoth.

"she don't gotta worry about kenna trying to fight her over armin." connie suddenly says, catching all three of his colleagues attention. armin perked a brow at him, confused. was he finna say what he thought he was gonna say?

"oh, i assumed y'all would just catch on. can't lie yall, i want her..." connie confesses with a pretty smirk, hands out in a surrendering manner. "i mean, i know y'all see what i see..."

"just like that?" eren questions, mad confused as to why he just admitted that, and easily. he was being quieter than usual, so it was no surprise; but to find these were the next set of words he was brewing was unexpected.

jean daps connie up, head shaking in disbelief although he was clearly rooting for him. armin didn't say anything, only staring at connie with the slightest bit of emotion on his face. he wasn't glaring at him or anything, nor was he upset. he was just a little annoyed, over anything. what was he thinking? "no."

connie pauses in his movements, looking over at armin. "no, what?"

"she just wouldn't go for someone like you, that's all." armin clears, folding his notebook up and tucking it away in his backpack. "it's nothing against you, you just don't seem like her type." hopefully he said that nicely. connie seemed a bit agitated,

"what?" eren questions, satisfied with the way things were going. they would argue in no time, really. "con is everyone's type. even mine..." his ass didn't get tired of acting zesty all the time? connie side eyed him for short moment, before he remembered what armin said to him.

"what makes you say that?" usually he was down to argue, but he was genuinely curious to know what armin's reasoning was. when jean, eren, and connie talked about women; armin always said nothing. he would sit there and listen, but he never voiced a comment. so the fact that he opened his mouth was strange, and out of character as hell.

"just a feeling. and besides, she already voiced how much she dislikes us." armin says, shrugging his shoulders. did his ass really just say it was just a feeling? "even if she didn't, you just don't strike me as the type of guy she would be into."

"damn..." jean says, blown away. "so what, you think con can't pull her? she's beautiful, but you're making her look too superior." eren agreed with what jean said, nodding his head and voicing a fact.

connie scoffs, clearly taken aback. "nah, ella es diferente [she's different]. but this me we're talking about. there ain't a female i can't have." connie says, earning claps from eren and jean. armin rolled his eyes at their glazing, shifting his attention back onto his notebook that he pulled from his bag.

"alright, bro. do you." armin mutters.

˚ you walked around, trying to find a lunch table to sit at. while swiveling your attention around the room, you spot both of your roommates. armin, and connie. they were sitting with eren, and jean— their second closest friends. why was armin writing shit down during lunch? was this not like the only free time he has? well, isn't he an author or something? you fucking forgot.

"damn... you're still the topic of the day." maria says, whistling as she walks besides you. "actually, why did you walk in with armin? we never discussed that." she questions, narrowing her brows at you.

"oh... it's complicated, but i share a room with him, and connie." you explain, setting your items down at an empty lunch table with maria. she hummed, indicating she was listening. "i wanted that shit changed pronto, but the headmistress said she can't do shit about it. and she excused their actions since there were a lot of complaints other people had about the opening party."

"god damn..." she says, gasping. "wait, so you hate them both? why you hate connie?"

you shrug. "to be honest, ion really hate him that much. he just give off hoe vibes, that's all. ian really into athletes and shit, cause they misleading as hell. and i feel like being friends with boys is a hassle."

"true that." maria says, finally sitting down. "i heard his dating history is vague. had like four girlfriends, maybe five..." she explains, pulling her cheeseburger from the plastic packaging it was in. "it's a shame, cause he's fine as fuck... too many good looking niggas round here, that's why i only like girls."

you laugh at maria's words, but she later confirmed that wasn't the reason she strictly preferred women. she was so pretty, and so many guys looked at her. no wonder she never gave them any attention.

"but armin... like okay, he's fine as hell. but why he gotta act like that? nigga swear he untouchable, ion' get why girls like that shit." maria was speaking facts, even you couldn't deny armin was attractive. his personality was just dislikable, and completely turned you off from him.

"real. and he seem like he beat women up, type shit..." you whisper, making maria laugh. you and her were having a good ass conversation, although it mainly consisted of the two of you gossiping. you could tell you and her would be great friends, and that was a fact.

meanwhile, kenna glared at you. she couldn't understand why armin even gave you the attention out of his day, meanwhile he couldn't even text her back. it was embarrassing, really; but she just played herself into thinking he was playing hard to get. deep down she knew he wasn't interested in her, but you? fuck no. she was just reading the situation wrong, right?

so, she wanted to scope out the competition. her and her friends made their way over to your table, setting their items down. you narrow a brow at the girl, wondering where the fuck she even came from. "uh, hey? can i help you?" you question, watching her friends settle down until the table was eventually full.

"just wanted to introduce the cheer team to you, since you're somehow on the team now." kenna says, although you didn't really seem to buy her excuse. okay? you didn't really need to introduce yourself, but you didn't want any problems with this girl. she looked like a mean girl, not to mention.

she was light skinned, and honestly one of the prettiest girls you ever seen. she currently had a blonde lace in, with baby hairs. she had green eyes, a gorgeous (but forced) smile. she was wearing a pink skims dress, and sandals. her body was really nice, too. cheerleading always gave girls good, healthy bodies but they never looked this good. it was obvious she did some working out on the side.

to put it simply, any guy would be happy to like the physical aspect of her. you weren't too interested in her personality since the first thing she asked you was something about armin, and she rudely explained to you that there weren't any more spots left on the cheer team. she was the stereotypical popular, but mean girl.

"oh." you answer, not wanting to argue. "well, i'm [name] i guess... nice to meet you all." it was awkward as hell, especially since the girls were all staring at you like you weren't from earth or some shit.

"you're skinnier than the rest of us." [or bigger, they both work... just know these girls are supposed to be mean, btw!] she says, and you blink inwardly at the comment. why did that even matter?

"and that matters, why?" maria questions, although she didn't look surprised at the fact that they made that comment. what, was it not anything out of the usual? were they all just stuck up and mean, or something?

"just something i noticed. if you're gonna be on the team, you should make sure you're eating right and working out." your body was fine the way it was. in fact, it was something you often got complimented on. hell, you even exercised weekly. the bitch was lucky you were confident, or you would've said something mean.

"i don't care about eating right and working out, but thanks for your concern." you kindly say, smiling falsely. damn, you wish they would leave the table. their perfumes were too strong, and the mixed scents were making your brain hurt.

"leave her alone, iclyn." kenna says, laughing with the girl. that silly ass name... her parents did her dirty. you wanted to laugh at that comment you made in your head, but you resisted.

"so... why were you walking with armin?"

already? you knew that was they were actually here for, but they ain't have no shame at all. "oh, he was showing me the headmistress's office." were they even going to let you introduce yourself to them? was that not what they came for originally?

"oh. he doesn't date, just to let you know." some girl says, clearly intimidated. "you wouldn't be his type, and he hates girls."

"uh, yeah... i'm not into him, so you can stop worrying." this was mad awkward.

"good." kenna establishes, gathering her items up so she could leave the table. her puppies followed after her, laughing about something that probably wasn't even funny. she turned around for just a second to see you, and the next thing to happen had her ballistic.

she saw connie leave with eren and jean, so that had her wondering where armin was. he ended up walking over to the table you were sitting at, and he asked you something. she couldn't hear over the loud chatter, but it was enough to make you get up and follow after him; with that redhead you just met.

"the fuck?" she questions, seething. she knew why the sight had her angry, and it was because she's wanted armin for months, if not years. he didn't talk to girls at all, and he never reached out first. even when he did sleep with kenna, all he did was ghost her afterwards. so the fact that he even went out of his way to speak to you was annoying.

you weren't that special. she was perfect, and you were just you. why did you have to stand out in the first place, and why the fuck did connie double back on you when he left?

yeah, she would make your life a living hell for as long as you were here.
