Chapter 5.5: Broken
Katsuki came home from the party with a broken hope.
After parking the car next to the green Mercedes Benz, he unlocked the door only to find out it was open.
The lock is busted, panic surged in his system. He entered the house while calling out for Izuku.
No...this can't be happening!
He searched every nook and crook and his thoughts are getting worse. Kidnapped? Raped?...KILLED?
Katsuki shook his dark mind, tears lingering on his eyes. Exhaustion hit him but that didn't stop him from looking for Izuku.
Until the only place left was the safety room, Izuku's bedroom.
He hoped that the writer is safe and sound inside.
As soon as he saw the door, he noticed blood and that made him tremble from fear of what his love suffered.
He prayed, wished, hoped, that Izuku is safe.
He pushed the door open but it won't bulge. He tried harder then heard a weak groan from the other side. "I-Izuku?" He asked full of concern.
No answer, he pushed harder but gentle just so in case the writer is leaning on the door. "Izuku" his arm fitted in and he shook the man to wake him up.
"Umn...Ka-chan?"
Relief washed over him as soon as he heard his voice. "Could you explain what happened here?" He tried to ask calmly as he wiped the tears of fear on his sleeves.
Instantly, he heard weeping from the other side that broke his heart once again. The door swung inward, revealing a trembling, scared Izuku. His uniform was smudged with blood and he held a bloody golden fountain pen parker on his right hand. "Ka-chan"
The actor engulfed the writer in a hug.
He carried the smaller man bridal style and the green head leaned on his chest, sobbing weakly as he clutched on Katsuki's clothes.
They entered the bathroom and washed the horrible red blood. After wiping the writer clean, they went back towards the bedroom.
He settled the writer on the bed, then he climbed next to him. He finally stopped crying, though he still looked pretty shaken by whatever happened.
"Shhh, its fine now...I'm here" The actor said, combing the smaller man's hair using his hand.
That's when he decided to tell about what happened in the party, when he and Shouto danced, talked and kissed. Izuku seemed to smile as he listened, though Katsuki didn't tell him that the marriage is moved.
...
Shouto wasn't expecting the horrible announcement.
He was pretty shaken by that. He was determined to break the marriage whether his family liked it or not. He was tempted to run away, but he didn't want to make his siblings take care of his burden that his father placed upon his shoulder.
Though Fuyumi is urging him to go and be free and let her handle everything; but the feeling of dumping everything to his only sister didn't make him feel comfortable.
"I just want to break the marriage, not to jump away from father" he explained.
His sister has a sad smile on her lips, "You can never break this marriage Shouto, and you always knew that. Its either you run away and dump the company's name or stay and marry...one choice or another"
The business man sighed, "but you always wanted to be a lawyer...not some businesses woman; you can't just put your seven years of studying just for me. Its either you let me carry the burden as you study or stop studying and carry the burden. And I don't like the second choice. Father dumped this work at my hands and so it stays" he explained.
Fuyumi's smile faltered, "I don't care Shouto. You love someone else...I can tell that, and I don't want you to be forced marriage to a woman you barely knew"
A smile tugged at his lips, 'I barely knew Katsuki' he thought, 'though I still love him...unless Izuku, I met him five years ago'
"Let me carry your burden" his sister said. "Even if you wanted to, if father didn't agree...then its useless"
The hope seemed to die in the older woman's eyes. "I didn't consider that" she said.
Shouto took his sister's hand to reassure her. "Its fine, let's just hope for the best"
