LIQUID CONFIDENCE
Jungkook was shaking on his legs as he waited in front of Taehyung's dorm that he had, for once, found completely on his own without any help from the random guy named Namjoon. He had a bottle of red wine in his left hand as his other hand was carrying a couple of beers.
Taehyung had replied to the message he had sent an hour ago, asking the older if he was free Friday night around 8 pm. The older had informed him that he would be in his dorm like always, but was very confused as to why Jungkook had asked him that. The younger hadn't replied to that question though and decided to just show up at his door around eight.
Loud footsteps could be heard before the door swung open, revealing a tired looking Taehyung in sweats. "Hey", the older greeted, giving Jungkook a lopsided smile, "You showed up".
"Of course I did", the youngest replied, going inside as Taehyung stepped out of the way, "Sorry for randomly inviting myself, again".
"No worries", Taehyung chuckled, watching as the younger set down the bottles in his hands and began to untie his shoes. The older scrunched his eyebrows in confusion as he saw the bottle of wine and the beers now standing on his kitchen table.
"Big plans?", he asked once Jungkook had toed of his shoes and set them aside. He pointed towards the bottles, seeing the sheepish look appear on the younger's face.
"I wanted to return the favor", Jungkook started, awkwardly rubbing his foot against the floor, "So I asked my older cousin for some tips as to what I should get you. He told me to buy liquor because supposedly college students are always drinking".
Taehyung snorted at that. He definitely wasn't such a fan of alcohol and he didn't really go out that much in comparison to normal college students. But he didn't have the heart to tell him that, especially not when he was looking at Taehyung with big hopeful eyes.
"Thank you", the older smiled, watching the younger do the same, his nerves seemingly disappearing, "It really wasn't necessary though".
Jungkook merely shook his head, before he realized something. He threw off his backpack and pulled out the once neatly folded clothes. He had tried so hard to get them to Taehyung without them crumpling too much, but the backpack wasn't that spacious.
"Here are your clothes by the way", Jungkook smiled, handing them over to Taehyung, "Freshly washed and everything. Thank you for letting me borrow them".
Taehyung shook his head with a smile, already able to smell the fabric softener. It was the same scent Jungkook always carried, the one he could smell when he had slept next to the boy. "No worries. It's not like I missed them".
Taehyung looked expectantly, staring at Jungkook's coat and wondering when he would take it off. Jungkook didn't seem to get the message and only looked confused when the silence went on. "Aren't you putting your coat away?", the older finally asked. He went over to the table where he placed down the clothes and grabbed the bottle of wine.
A look of surprise washed over Jungkook's face, "Oh- I thought I'd just drop off these bottles and-"
"You're not drinking with me?", Taehyung asked, a small pout gracing his lips as he was on his way to grab two glasses for the wine. He saw the younger start to falter.
"It's your present", Jungkook tried to reason, "And I'm not even legal-"
"Nonsense, you don't expect me to finish this all by myself, right?", Taehyung asked and grinned when he noticed Jugnkook's small shake of a head, "Then let's have a drink".
He brought the wine and beer over to the small coffee table standing in front of his couch. Jungkook grabbed the glasses off the kitchen table once he had hung his coat away and set them down next to the bottle of wine. He didn't know if he even liked the wine he picked out, didn't know if Taehyung would even like it. With a sigh he could feel his stress spike again.
Since when did he feel so nervous around boys?
Taehyung paid no mind to the younger and started pouring the rich red liquid into the two glasses. He had always preferred wine over beer and was glad Jungkook had bought both of the drinks so he could enjoy some wine first.
"How was your week?", he asked, handing one of the glasses to the younger. Jungkook looked at the wine with unsure eyes before he snapped them back up to Taehyung's awaiting gaze.
"It was fine", Jungkook shrugged, "Had to avoid Lottie when it got a bit too much but besides that it was like every other week". This made him remember something and he quickly gasped, "Did she message you Monday evening?"
Taehyung squinted his eyes in thought before slowly beginning to nod his head, "Yeah, I think it was Monday. She asked me to hang out after school but I told her I couldn't since I had an evening class".
"I thought so", Jungkook nodded, finally taking a sip from the red wine before shuddering at the bitter taste, "This is yucky". He glared at the glass in his hand, not being too happy about the taste on his tongue.
Taehyung laughed loudly at that, taking a swig of the liquid himself before shrugging, "It's alright if you're used to wine". He took another swig and quickly emptied his glass, much to the younger's surprise. "And why did you think so?"
"She didn't walk home with me that day because she was going shopping with friends. I figured that it was an excuse to meet up with you", Jungkook told him.
"You figured right", Taehyung smiled, picking up the bottle of wine again, "She didn't get to see me though, so it must suck to be her. Being ignored by both of her boyfriends".
"What if she gets herself a third one?", Jungkook gasped, the thought alone making him set the glass at his lips and tip it back, swallowing all of the liquor.
"That's ridiculous", Taehyung chuckled, sitting back with a full glass of wine again, "But not that unlikely now we know how she truly is".
Jungkook scrunched his nose at the awful taste but nonetheless poured himself some more wine, "I don't even want to think about the possibility of a third boyfriend".
"We'd have another friend", Taehyung laughed, motioning to the two of them, "He could join the plan".
"One other boyfriend is enough to deal with already", Jungkook said with a shake of the head, "And where would she get the time to meet up with three boys every week?"
Taehyung smiled, "She already has the time to fool both of us, so who knows what else she is able to do". Jungkook glared at him and let out a huff, "Just shup up and drink your wine".

And they did indeed drink the wine, until the very last drop. The beer bottles were the next victims in line until also they were emptied and thrown onto the floor. Taehyung was a giggling mess, sprawled across the couch with his hoodie ridden up and the hood covering his brown locks.
Jungkook was currently doing his best performance of some disney song he remembered. He blared out the song without having any regards to the neighboring dorms being able to hear them. The younger male did a dramatic stance as he blurted out the next verse, his drunken mind trying to grab onto the lyrics but only being able to form almost non existent words.
He then started doing a dance routine before trying to do a fancy jumping sequence, making him stumble head first into the couch Taehyung was laying in, currently in a fit of giggles. "Whoops, 'cuse me sir", Jungkook hiccupped, trying to push himself up from where his head had hit the older's chest.
Taehyung was still laughing, ignoring the dull pain in his chest where the younger's head had knocked into. His eyes were barely open, tears blurring his sight as Jungkook loomed over him. the younger's arms gave up on trying his own body weight and made him knock his head against Taehyung's, making both of them groan in pain.
Jungkook let his head fall next to the other's, furrowing his eyebrows at the headache he had caused himself. Taehyung's laughter had subsided, his eyes now open as they fell onto the other's boy's neck now right in front of him.
"Hurts", Jungkook whined when his headache didn't disappear. He was about to complain again when the older didn't reply, but he quickly changed his mind when he felt something soft pressing against his neck.
He couldn't identify what exactly but his drunken mind didn't quite care as the feeling was nice and it made him forget about the pain in his head. Taehyung, who had accepted the younger's silence as a sign, kept up his actions as he pressed gentle kisses against Jungkook's neck.
Somewhere his rationality was yelling at him to stop this, to stop whatever he was doing or planning to do. They were drunk, not in their right state of mind and he didn't even hear Jungkook's words of consent. But it was all thrown out of the window when he heard the soft noise that left the younger's lips.
Was it a whimper? A moan? He couldn't quite decipher it but he didn't care, only being more encouraged by the sound to go on. He picked up the pace and placed kisses from the bottom of Jungkook's neck to the part of his jaw that he could reach.
The sounds kept going and before it had really registered in his mind, he realized the younger was moving his body a bit, almost as if he was grinding down onto the older. This made the older snap out of his drunken daze and before he knew it he had pushed Jungkook off the couch, making him land on the carpet.
"Taehyung", the younger whined, missing the pleasant feeling on his skin. He didn't get much more out before he effectively passed out on the carpet. Taehyung however was sitting straight up, eyes wide and panicked.
"What the fuck did I do?"
