After calming Louis down enough to get him sitting down again (and not trying to run away) Deliah and Candice got him ready in silence.

It was when Candice had just finished styling Louis' hair when he carefully asked. "So... you're not going to kill me then?"

"No, we're not going to kill you, Sir Louis," Deliah promised, picking up perfectly folded clothes from the counter.

Louis glanced at his reflection in the mirror, he almost couldn't recognize himself. His skin appeared to be a golden brown, trailing everywhere his eyes could see with the towel wrapped around himself. His hair was the soft tousled shade of honey, and when he looked at his eyes he almost figured they would be golden themselves. But It was his eyes that made him recognizable to himself, the color of forget me nots and photos he had once seen of the sky.

Louis only looked away from the mirror when Candice unfolded the amber embellished dress.

"Stand up please, Sir Louis."

"You're telling me this dress is for me?" Louis gawked at the intricate stitching of the marigold cloth. "I-I'm not a girl though, I don't wear dresses."

"Well that's preposterous!" Deliah guided Louis towards the gown, shaking her head. "It's only fitting for the future Luna to be dressed as the part. Now put this dress on."

"But-"

"No buts until your's gets into this dress, Sir Louis."

Louis huffed and decided to stop fighting the inevitable, dropping the towel and quickly stepping into the dress. "Can I get some underwear?"

Deliah and Candice both worked to pull and tighten the dress around Louis' frame, too concentrated to respond. Louis looked back at the mirror, his eyes trailing down the dress.

The gown was hanging off the ends off of his shoulder, draping the open hanging sleeves almost to his thighs. The fabric concealed his chest and fell straight down to the floor, with the train trailing a foot behind him. The dress itself was as beautiful as the castle, Louis hypothesized that it could be as expensive as well.

Once he felt the hand's of his maids move off of him, he brought his attention to them as they stepped back to look at him completely. He blushed under their proud stares.

"Oh you're definitely going to be elected looking like this Sir," Deliah grinned.

Louis glanced away, the crimson tint not dissipating. "Can I get some underwear please?"

"The Prince didn't give us any," Candice finally spoke up gently, motioning for Louis to sit back down before turning away to pick up pair of golden gladiator sandals.

Louis rolled his eyes at the Prince but sighed anyway at the concept of rest from the relatively heavy gown, sitting back down onto the chair.

"For goodness sake, Sir! You must be careful when you sit, you'll wrinkle your dress," Deliah scolded, holding the luxurious fabric while Louis slowly sat down.

"Sorry, I'm not used to wearing fancy clothes," Louis huffed, leaning his head back against the chair and lifting up a foot when Deliah carefully moved the fabric to the side. "You know I can put shoes on by myself?"

"It's my job to assist you, Sir Louis. Your life is soon to have many things to be stressed about, I am here to make your life just a little bit easier." Deliah took her attention away from tying the straps off into little knots, to look up at Louis and smile gently.

"Why do I even need to wear all of this? It's all very unnecessary, I'm going to be sent home anyway," Louis grumbled, running his fingers along the silk of his inner sleeves.

"Don't say that, Sir Louis!" Deliah gasped, quickly tying off the other shoe. "You just wait and see."

Louis held himself back from telling Deliah that he wished that wouldn't happen, instead choosing to shrug and stand up when Deliah finished.

"You're all done then." Candice smiled and straightened out Louis' hair.

Louis looked over at the double doors, they were the only thing keeping him and Edward separated. With hesitation and a sigh, Louis walked up to the very door he wanted to keep shut, and opened it up.

From a quick glance around the room Louis saw that Edward wasn't in sight. He couldn't help but let go of the breath he was holding in.

"Good evening, Sir Louis."

Louis let out a gasp and jumped a little at the unknown presence next to the door. He turned around to see the owner of the deep voice and wasn't surprised to see a royal solider in full uniform.

"Wh-Who is this?" Louis finally asked once Deliah and Candice came out of the bathroom to inspect Louis' fright.

The man chose to answer himself, clearing his throat and proudly saying, "My name is Sergeant Roman Rodriguez, and I will be escorting you to the Prince."

Louis looked at the man's face, unsure if he was being serious about his formality. After a couple seconds of staring, Louis came to the conclusion that he was very serious. "Um, alright then, lead the way."

Louis followed after the Sargent quietly, but not before glancing back at Deliah and Candice with an unsure smile.

He hadn't been keeping track of how long they had been walking for, but Louis could tell from the many extravagant hallways they had walked through, that the two had been walking for a good while.

"How big is this castle?" Louis couldn't help but ask. Despite looking at it from the kitchen window all of his life, he never did grasp the true enormousness of it.

Roman suddenly stopped his stride to grip onto a door knob. "Quite big." Then he opened the opened the door, revealing a balcony with a table and two chairs, all encased in glass.

The open sky broadcasted the usual dull tones of the sky, but the setting sun provided for different shades of black and gray to mix together in a way that Louis never had the pleasure of witnessing before. The positioning of the castle that Louis had only just gotten familiar with, is what literally stood in Louis' way from viewing the sunset. That didn't stop the Omega from enjoying the sight none the less. The swirl of gray shades was seen in a completely new light.

Louis didn't notice Roman departure, and hadn't even come to realize Edward's presence, he was too enthralled at the sky's intricate beauty to care.

"Absolutely stunning," Louis whispered under his breath.

"Yes," Edward said from his place at the table, only he wasn't looking at the sunset. "Beautiful."

Louis looked over at the Alpha only to find him staring right back at him. "Why did you take me here?"

"Is it not obvious, Omega?" Edward raised a brow, clasping his hands behind his back. "I am here to court you."

"To court me?" Louis had to make a face at both the nickname and what Edward had said. "I think it would be easier to find another Omega, there are plenty in Carthe that are better than me."

Edward scoffed, "There is no one better than you, Omega. You're my mate."

Louis rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Stop calling me Omega."

"Will it please you if I do?" Edward took the chance to look Louis up and down while the boy was rolling his eyes.

"Yeah."

"That is not an answer."

"What do you want me to say then?"

"Yes or no. It isn't proper to say 'yeah', you must learn that if you prefer to be a good Queen," Edward snapped, annoyed at Louis' unfazed manner and use of slang.

"Why are you so set on me becoming the Queen?" Louis asked, hands on his hips with no care for keeping the Prince happy.

"May we eat without you trying to convince me to take you home?" Edward stood and glared at Louis.

Louis gripped onto the silk of his dress, tempted to continue the argument but knowing it was best to sit down. "Maybe."

Edward pulled out Louis' chair with a look on his face that advised Louis to sit, which he did.

The two sat with their arms crossed in silence, waiting for their food to be brought out.

The tension was thick while they ate their dinner, and grew thicker by desert. They hadn't spoken a word since they sat down, but Louis decided to be the bigger person and speak up.

"Thanks for the food," Louis said after he wiped his mouth, finally looking up at the Alpha. "It's... uh, pretty out here."

"You're welcome, Little One."

"I'm not that small."

Edward's dark red lips twitched into a smile, but it was gone as fast as it came. "Is that so?"

Louis sat up in his seat, he knew that Deliah would have an attack if she saw how Louis was sitting, but the boy didn't have it in him to care. "Yeah- I mean, yes. If you were normal you'd be able to know that."

Edward chucked, and Louis couldn't help but stare at the Alpha's lips twisted in a smile. Louis definitely didn't expect that reaction for him.

"And what makes me not normal then?" Edward asked with a new amused look on his devastatingly attractive face.

Louis blushed and shrugged, he didn't know how to respond to the teasing Prince. "You're too tall, it's weird."

"Too tall," Edward repeated, leaning back against the chair and pushing his blonde hair back when a strand fell against his face. "Well I apologize if my height is what brings you to dislike me."

"I don't," Louis lied.

"I doubt that."

"Well if you think I hate you then why are you still trying to court me?"

Edward studied Louis face before speaking up, "It's because you're my soul mate that I am so set on you becoming my Queen."

Louis furrowed his eyebrows at the statement. "I don't think so."

"I don't believe you understand," Edward said, staring deep into Louis' eyes. "Your scent reveals you to be mine, despite your own reasons for believing otherwise. You can't argue with my senses. I know who you belong to, for some reason there's something stopping you from knowing too." Edward played with his bottom lip in thought, not letting his eyes fall from the Omega.

"I'm not an object to be owned, Edward," Louis said with as much conviction as he could muster.

"Ah, but I have to disagree, Omega. You belong to me just as much as I belong to you. Once I court you and win your favor, I will be irresistible to you. You will meet my brothers and they will agree that you are ours. Then we will mate you and you will have our pups." Edward spoke with such confidence that Louis would have believed him if Edward wasn't talking about him.

"And what if you don't win my favor?"

"I don't have to speculate, my Sweet. I know that I will, and then you will be mine."
