Louis was sitting across from Prince Edward in his carriage with his arms crossed, glaring straight ahead at Edward's chest. They had been traveling for an hour or so and Louis refused to speak to the entitled Prince.

After Edward presented Louis with the question, the Omega tried to run away, only to be captured by Edward's personal guards and brought back to the living room.

"Choose quickly Omega," Edward pressed the question, holding his hands behind his back, "I am beginning to lose my patience with you."

Louis squirmed in the grip of the alphas. He could either reject the Prince, or come up with a lie and then reject the Prince. Louis went for the later. "I've been in a very serious relationship. I'm going to be mated very soon."

Edward smirked. "That was not an option I gave you so I don't understand why you're telling me that."

"Well... because I can't be the Luna!"

"You aren't mated now, so you can. Now make your decision, Omega."

Louis huffed and looked down at his hanging feet, the grip on his arms was making them fall asleep. "...What if I don't end up getting chosen? Will I go back home?"

"If that's what you wish."

Louis looked up at Edward, he wasn't an ugly man. Shoulder-length dirty blonde hair framed his pale skin, which was slightly smudged around the jaw by the charcoal winds of the outdoors. Hazel eyes apeared amused, and vibrant red lips were turned up into a smirk, definitely aware of Louis' preferred choice.

"Fine. I'll come with you," Louis sighed, rubbing his sore arms once they were released, "but only if you let me say goodbye to everyone."

Louis spent the following twenty minutes saying his goodbyes and packing the few belongings he had. When Louis had asked if he could say goodbye to Joaquin, Edward refused as soon as he found out the man was an alpha and brought Louis to the carriage. Bringing them to their current position.

Edward was leaning back against the red velvet of the cushions, staring at Louis as he had been for the whole trip. "I can't believe you didn't know who I was."

Louis scoffed and turned to look out of the window.

"Oh please, don't pretend like I am being irrational. I am the Prince of Carthe, everyone from Carthe is supposed to know me," Edward grumbled, annoyed with the boy's silence.

He was just about to give up on conversation when Louis finally gave in and said, "well I didn't have a single clue. I still don't know much about anything."

Edward raised a brow. "Do you know about my brothers?"

Louis shrugged, finally making eye contact with the man. "Only that you have some."

"I have two."

"Are they Alphas too?"

Edward chuckled, "yes, we are triplets- You really don't know anything about the royal family do you?"

"I never thought I'd be in a situation where I'd have to know." Louis crossed his arms and turned to look back out of the window. "Don't we have to pick up other Omegas?"

"Why would we have to pick up other Omegas?"

Louis frowned in confused and looked at the Alpha. "Don't you have to bring more than one Omega back to Velora?"

"I can bring as many as I like."

"Then where are the others?"

Edward shrugged. "I only found one."

Louis tried to hide the blush that painted over his cheeks at the reminder that Edward threatened him with prison shortly after the rejection. "Did the other's reject you as well?"

Edward glared at Louis. "No, I just didn't like the smell of charcoal."

Louis opened his mouth to respond when the sight of something outside caught his eye. The Omega shifted his body to look outside, his breath hitching at the up close view of the castle he had known all his life.

Edward frowned at Louis' distraction and glanced out the window. "Oh, that old thing," Edward scoffed, "once it's mine I am going to give that thing a serious reconstruction."

"It's beautiful." Louis was in awe at the tall walls, and was even more in awe at the golden castle that the walls shielded.

"It's... something." Edward cringed at the sounds of the rusted gates opening for them and looked at the castle. Edward was completely offended that he would be eventually inheriting the relatively old castle, while his brothers would be getting much more renovated ones.

"Will we be staying here for the election?"

"No." Edward frowned at the thought, turning away from the window. "We are leaving first thing tomorrow to Velora. This is the most unkept place we could possibly be staying in and I refuse to stay here any longer than necessary."

"Why do you hate it so much?" Louis asked, still staring at the castle's elongated golden walls.

"Because it is the worst of my family's castles," Edward grumbled, opening the door and stepping out of the carriage as soon as it came to a stop.

Louis frowned at the tone in Edward's voice, but followed the Alpha out of the carriage none the less.

"Welcome to the Styles Manor, Omega." Edward walked up the steps to the front door, only realizing that Louis was still standing in front of the seemingly endless expanse of architecture once he was at the front door. "Omega! Get inside before this disgusting place makes you rotten."

Despite wanting to stare at the castle for longer, Louis quickly climbed the stairs at the Prince's tone. He shifted his gaze to see two beta servants holding the doors open, and casted kind smiles their way before stepping through.

"You really do take your time, Omega."

Louis looked up at the sound of Edward's voice to see the man standing at the top of the stairs, leaning against the golden hand-rail.

"My name is Louis," he mumbled, his attention grasped by the equally breathtaking entrance of the castle. A grand stair case stood in the middle of the giant room, dividing it into two identical sides furnished with honey colored couches and coffee tables.

Edward groaned and climbed back down the staircase. "Omega, I don't have time to wait for you to survey the area. We must go now." He set his hand at the small of Louis' back and guided him towards the stairs.

The castle was big enough to fit more than two. Louis realized it could probably fit the entire town and then some, yet it would only be the two of them. As Louis followed Edward through the twisting and turning hallways, he began to wonder what would become of him once they went to Velora or more so, how life would be when he was returned home. Wait. "Wait, if I'm the only one you elected, how am I supposed to go home?"

Edward stopped at a particularly embellished set of double doors and pushed them open. "You truly are clueless then aren't you, Omega?"

"Louis."

Edward looked at Louis with an unamused stare and walked into the room. "I've been informed that that was your name multiple times already."

"Then call me by it." Louis followed Edward into the room but still came to a stop after stepping in. The room wasn't considered to be one in Louis' mind, it was too large for that. It was big enough to fit a house.

The walls were decorated with small hand painted drawings of golden leaves and flowers. The floor was made of a cherry wood that trailed all along the unnecessarily large room.

The whole room was very unnecessary. It was beautiful, but unnecessary. Over the top furniture was tastefully placed around the spacious room, but the one that stole the show by far was the bed.

The golden bed frame held a California king mattress, fitted with golden-brown silk sheets and pillows that seemed to shine like the sun itself in the filtered sunlight. The beautiful mix of colors called for all the attention one had.

"Is this my room?"

Edward looked over at Louis and shrugged off his black brocade coat, setting it on the heavenly bed. "This is my room."

"Where will I be staying then?" Louis asked crossing his arms and frowning at the answer he knew he was going to get.

"Here as well."

"Nope."

Edward raised a brow and sat next to his luxurious piece of clothing. "I did not provide another option for you."

"Then I'll be sleeping on the floor." Louis picked up a silk pillow and held it against his chest, almost in protection against the Prince.

Edward gave Louis an unamused face. "Don't be rediculous, Ome-"

"It's Louis."

Edward glared and stood up from the bed, slowly walking towards Louis. "You're going to definitely need some lessons on manners, Louis. You are not to interrupt me, or anyone else for that matter, it's not graceful."

"Graceful?" Louis cringed and hugged the pillow closer. "There's no point in learning how to be graceful, I'm going home anyway."

Edward's annoyed expression morphed into one of frustrated confusion. "I do not understand you at all. If anyone else was in your position they would be elated only to be in the same room as me."

"I don't care for who you are or what you'll be. I'm not going to kiss the ground you walk on." Louis paused to give Edward a smirk. "Or anyone else for that matter."

Edward studied Louis' face. He had never been confronted by someone who wasn't been honored just by his breathing. But now he had, and he definitely didn't know how to feel about it. Then he decided.

"You are to shower and change out of those... unflattering clothes. We will be having dinner shortly after so I expect you to dress accordingly."

"I don't have any clothes-"

"Then I will provide you with everything you need." Edward walked towards an unopened door next to the open windows, pushing it open and looking back at Louis. "Come along." Then he walked inside of the room, leaving Louis to cautiously follow behind the Prince.

"This is the bathroom. It is yours now just as much as it is mine." Edward pushed back the curtains to allow sunshine to flood into the equally golden bathroom.

"It's not mine yet, Edward," Louis mumbled, taking in the luxurious bathroom. A bathtub carved out of golden brown granite was placed in the center of the room, matching in color with the shower and counter top. Accents of pure gold faucets and cabinet handles were scattered around the room, readying the viewers for the gold toilet's presence in the corner of the bathroom.

"It will be considered yours, so treat it as yours," Edward cleared his throat and stood with his hands behind his back. "If you need anything else, I'll be just outside the door. I will be sending in your maids shortly."

And then he left, leaving Louis alone in the gorgeous bathroom with a confused face at the alpha's sudden change in attitude.
