Edward stormed into his room, and slammed the door shut behind himself. He didn't care much for the way the walls shook on the impact, nor for the bolt that fell out of the door as a result.

He didn't like that his mother had taken his favorite doll away from him, even if it was temporary.

He wished his brothers would get back home. Harry would've known what to do.

So Edward pulled out a pen and paper, and started writing to Harry first.

Dear Harold,

I have found a very interesting Omega, one that I have come to learn is our true mate. His name is Louis, he's absolutely gorgeous and

Edward stopped himself as he was about to describe Louis' personality. After spending two minutes or so to think of a positive way to describe it, Edward gave up and continued writing.

very small. I am getting terribly impatient while waiting for you to return, Brother. I recommend that you stop wasting your time looking for Omegas, as I have already found our mate. Leave every Omega that you have found and come home. Our mate is waiting for you, don't leave him to grow impatient as well.

Still waiting for your arrival,

Edward.

Edward took out another sheet of paper after folding and tucking Harry's into an envelope, and began writing again.

Dear Marcel,

I have found our mate. Come home immediately. If Harry arrives before you, I won't be waiting on you.

Edward.

As Edward sealed the letters off, a knock on the door captured his attention.

"Enter."

Five servants wordlessly walked into the room, and began picking up Louis' bags.

"Um, hello. What are you all doing?" Edward stood from his desk, walking over as the silent maids continued taking Louis' things out of the room.

"They're taking Louis' things to his room."

Edward whipped his head to the door frame and held back the growl that threatened to crawl up his throat at the sight of his Mother. It frustrated Edward to no end how she continued to push at the limits of his dominance.

"They already are in his room," Edward gritted out, his jaw clenched and fists balled. "Do not overstep your boundaries, Mother. My Omega will be sleeping in my bed, where he belongs."

Anne moved out of the servants' way as they carried the luggages out of the room. "I am your Mother. There are no boundaries, Edward, so I cannot cross them."

The pressure in Edward's jaw was almost painful, as he heard the sound of his Mother's finalizing heels click off into the hallway.

"Oh, and Edward?"

At the sound of his name, Edward obediently yet grudgingly walked out into the hallway; Edward would be a fool to not come to his Mother's call. "What do you want."

Anne raised a brow and turned to face Edward, slowly walking towards her spoiled son. "How old are you, Edward?"

"I am twenty two."

Edward's cheek stung with a lingering pain; he couldn't hold back the growl this time. His Mother had slapped him.

"Then act like it. You are to be a King, but nothing is written in stone, Son. You will learn to respect Omegas, myself included. If you do not learn to do so, then you will come to deeply regret your decision. It is time for you to be the person the kingdom needs you to be, not some brat that happened to be born with royal blood. You will be taking classes along with your mate, and you will show absolute interest in each and every one," Anne stated.

Edward looked at his Mother, she stared back at him with passionate green eyes. He knew once she had said something it was final, but somehow he didn't believe her this time.

"Is that understood?"

Edward grumbled under his breath and crossed his arms, breaking his eyes away from his Mother's glare to look at the floor stubbornly.

"Is that understood, Edward?"

"Yes," Edward growled out, glaring at the ground.

"Perfect, I am so glad that I have your complete cooperation, Son."

Edward heard the Queen's heels clicking off into the distance once again.

"I will see you tomorrow, Edward."

Edward turned his face to look out the window. He needed his brothers home more than ever.

---

"What's up?"

"Wrong!"

Louis sighed and fell back onto the fainting couch. "How is that one wrong too?"

Louis had been with his teacher for only ten minutes and he was already frustrated.

"One does not say 'what's up?' when greeting the Duke of Ovia, or anyone for that matter; speaking in slang is not proper."

"Being proper sucks," Louis grumbled into a pillow.

"You're going to be the Queen of the Three Kingdoms, so you must be proper. You don't find the small sacrifice to be worth it?"

"No," Louis admitted, turning to face away from Ms.Brithney. "You seem proper enough, so I'll allow you to take my place. Maybe if you pretend that you're not a beta they'll take you instead, and then I'll be free to not be proper."

The teacher rolled her big brown eyes. "Although you may not appreciate your responsibility, you must accept it. You are their mates-"

Louis sat up and huffed, "I am not, I don't feel anything at all when I'm with Edward and that's not supposed to happen with mates that I know of. Edward is just lying because he thinks I'm attractive."

Brithney gave Louis a face. "You are his mate, Louis. Princes don't lie."

"They can," he crossed his arms, "there's nothing physically stopping him from lying."

"You have to feel something as well."

"Well I don't," Louis snapped, "so I find all of this to be ridiculous. I would like to go home already."

Brithney tapped her pen against her lips, not reacting to Louis' out burst.

The room was plagued with silence as Louis waited for her response.

"You are aware that Edward has chosen you to be the Queen, correct?"

"Yeah," Louis mumbled.

"And you are aware that he will stop at nothing to convince his other brothers to choose you as well, correct?"

"Yeah."

"Now think of this, what if you really are their mates, and they automatically choose you -just like Edward did- how will you dispute that their instincts are completely wrong?" Brithney studied Louis face. He didn't know how to hide his emotions just yet; Louis' lips slid into a frown, and his eyes casted down as he was in thought.

"Well... that isn't going to happen," Louis answered without conviction. He thought that he wasn't their mate, but if Edward felt something, wouldn't his brothers feel it too?

"Do you not find it strange that Edward is the only one who can sense that you're an Omega?"

The suppressants he was taking came to mind. Louis squirmed in the comfortable chair. "No."

"Are you lying about that?"

There was a pause.

"No."

Brithany kept her face blank of emotions, with only an arch of her perfectly shaped brow, she replied, "well, if you prefer to not reveal whatever you're hiding, I won't pry. Let's continue on our lesson shall we?"

Louis nodded slowly, unaware of how to respond.

"Now, let's begin with your posture."

---

Anne sat on her throne next to Desmond, looking at his profile with worry.

"I can feel your concern, my Queen." Desmond turned to look at his wife with a weak smile playing on his lips. "I truly do feel much better, I promise that to you."

Anne sighed and cupped his cheek. Although he continued to promise her that he was feeling fine, Anne couldn't help but worry. Desmond's face was unusually pale, under his eyes was purple, and his lips remained dry despite all of the water that Anne forced him to drink.

"Despite how you feel, I don't believe that you are healthy."

"Do not worry one more second for me." Desmond kissed Anne's hand gently. "I feel fine."

The throne room doors opening with a sudden drag, brought Desmond to bring his attention away from the Queen. "Well good morning, Son."

Edward slammed the door behind himself and walked the long distance over to the throne. "Good morning, Father."

"I sense your anger, Edward. What's wrong now?" Anne asked, twisting one of the many rings on her finger.

"You really have signed me up for etiquette classes?!" Edward growled. "This is a waste of my time, Mother. I will not be attending these things, I have played along with your games enough."

"I made myself very clear when I told you I would be signing you up for classes," Anne laughed out, amused that her son thought she was bluffing. "And, of course, you are mistaken, you will be taking the classes."

Desmond watched the exchange with a bored face. "What are you two going on about now?"

Anne answered before Edward could, "Your Son believes that he can be rude and disrespectful to others without consequence, so I have put him in etiquette classes."

"Correction," Edward glared. "your Wife, believes that she can dictate everything that is going on in my life. Father, she has taken my Omega away from me! You must put an end to her childish behavior." Edward crossed his arms and expectantly looked at the King.

Desmond sighed and rubbed his temples. "Edward, I trust your Mother's judgement."

"Father! This isn't fair! You don't even know what happened and you are just going to side with her?" Edward objected, clenching his fists at the thought of losing the argument.

"However," Desmond began again, pointedly looking at his Son. "Because you have already attended your etiquette school when you were younger, I do not believe that you are required to attend it in its entirety again. By the time of the Consummation Ball, if your manners are not to the likings of your Mother, then you will be taking the whole course once again."

"But Father, I shouldn't be taking the classes at all," Edward gritted out.

"You're speaking back to your Father. I think you should be taking them." Desmond raised a brow and shooed Edward away. "Now off you go, I assume you have things to do."

"He actually does," Anne chimed in, "his lessons are just after Louis', which should be ending any moment now. His horse riding lessons will be beginning shortly, maybe if you run over you can catch a glimpse of him." The Queen smirked at Edward's annoyed face. "You do remember where the class rooms are, right Edward? Or should I have a servant escort you there?"

Edward growled and stormed out of the room before his Father could reprimand him for it.

Desmond sighed, "Anne you must not test his dominance like that. If he is my son like I know he is, than you will only be making the situation worse."

"Edward is a puppy in wolf's fur, he believes that he is grown but acts like he is a child."

"You believe etiquette classes will change that?"

Anne shook her head and stared at the door her son had left from moments ago. "No, I do not."

"Than what are you attempting to achieve?"

"Etiquette classes will not allow him to gain maturity, but they will allow him to gain Louis."

"Louis? What good will the Omega do to him?" Desmond scoffed.

Anne raised a brow and looked over to her husband. "You scoff as if I wasn't the one who brought you to your senses."

Desmond pursed, offering his Queen his surrender. "Well I can't argue back when you say that."

Anne smirked at that and stood from the throne, walking over to the window and looking out. "The lessons will not grant Edward what he needs to rule the Kingdom," Anne looked away from the view of Louis gently petting a horse to glance back at her Husband, "Louis will be the one to do that."
