Shit!

It's been a hell of day!

I jammed my finger while working on a 2019 BMW M6. The owner was an asshole, demanding the job to be done no later than 6:00. What I wouldn't give to stick this wrench up his ass. I'm aggravated and my mind has been focused on Lannie and her asshole brother.

Looking at the clock, I have forty fives minutes left to get it done. I don't have the patience for this shit today!

Listening to the radio, Delvin, my worker has set up, I lose myself in the song. Tennessee Whiskey is playing throughout the shop. Relaxing me a bit.

I finish working on the car with ten minutes left to spare. It's been a long day.

"Delvin, this one's done. I'm headed home. Don't forget to lock up." I tell him as I place my tools on the wall.

"Sure thing boss." He smiles and I head out the door.

On my way home thoughts of Lannie and what danger she's in crosses my mind.

Should we tell her? If we don't, her life might be put into more danger. I don't want to risk that chance. It seems like every time things are starting to look up with us; they seem to crash back down. With Forest also forgetting to use protection irritates me to no end. Sure we're old enough to be fathers but not to discuss this with Lannie first is big downer. The only thing I can think to that is what's done is done. Can't change it now.

I pull into the driveway and notice a strange vehicle beside Dennys truck. Getting out I run at a jog to the front door. My mind goes into overdrive.

I open and door and see Lannie and a strange man sitting beside her on the couch. She's laughing and he has his hand her leg. Looking way to comfortable. They both turn to me as I enter. I notice Denny in the chair, an angry look on his face. I don't see Forest anywhere. I step inside and shut the door. Turning back I wait for an introduction.

"Oh hey Blue, I like you to meet my friend, Rodrick." Lannie says as she stands from the couch and stands in front of me. I look at her face for some sort of reaction to why he here's and what he wants. Rodrick? What a stupid name. My jealousy is on high. He's too good looking and his hands are bit to clingy for my liking.

"Nice to meet you." He says as he gets up to walk to me with his hand held out. I ignore it and turn back to Lannie displeasure written all over place. Not only is he too handsy with our girl but with Derek out there my protectiveness is over flowing.

Lannie clears her throat. Looks at Rodrick then back to me. "He's here for a few days. He's actually staying at the Blue Inn." Dennys been awfully quiet just staring at our interaction.

"I came to see Lannie, thought she may be free to go and join me for a few drinks. It's been a while since I have seen her. Old friends catching up and all that. Care to join us?" I don't think so.

"No" is all I say as I walk past them. I don't like him. Relenting I say. "We have drinks here. No need to go anywhere." I'm not letting Lannie out of my sight.
She stares at me a bit confused but concedes. They go back to the couch. I grab some glasses and and a bottle of whiskey. My drink of choice. I head back to the couch and force my way to sit between her and him. Making Lannie have to move over a bit.

"So, who are you?" I ask him as I pour our drinks. Not really caring for an answer, just really wanting him gone.

"I'm Lannies ex. Haven't seen or heard for her in a while, so I thought to pay her a visit and catch up, see what she's been up to." He said with a damn smirk. Ex? As in dated? I turn to Lannie and she half smiles looking away. I look at Denny and he still has an angry face. Not talking, only watching.

I look back to Rodrick. He looks like he's some type of mafia guy. Dress jacket, fancy watch, and a ridiculous hair style. What did she see in him?

"Ex? How long did you date?" More curious than ever now.

"A bit over two months. Not long. We were friends before we started a relationship. It sorta didn't end well, so I looked her up to apologize and see where we can go from there," he scoffs "so you're her roommates?" He ask. Roommates? Apparently they haven't filled him in the situation.

"No, we're her boyfriends." His eyes go wide. He looks at Lannie, she smiles and nods. He then looks at Denny and he has a shit eating eating grin on his face wider than the Mississippi.

"Boyfriends as in both of you?" I shake my head no, he seems relieved.

"No, as in three of us." I smirk. Take that mafia man!

He looks at Lannie then jumps up. Disgust written all over his face.
"What the hell Lannie? Three?.....three? What? Are you nuts? It sure didn't take you long to move on! If I knew you were such a damn slut, I might of kept you around!" Oh that did it!

I jumped up and punched him right in the jaw. He fell back landing on the other chair toppling it over. I crash down on him continuously hitting him.

Small hands grab my arms. I hear screaming. But I don't let up. Then Denny pulls me off. Holding me back. I try to calm myself. I'm not usually this angry. Taking deep breaths I try to focus. I register Denny yelling at me.

"You hit her man, look! Calm down!" His words click into place. I look over at Lannie and she's holding her jaw. Her eyes filled with horror. I instantly rush to her cupping her face.

"Damn, pippy I'm so sorry. Are you ok?" I fucking hit her? When did I hit her? How? I hear scuffling I look over and Denny is picking up Rodrick. He takes him to door and literally throws him out of it. Rodrick crashes into Forest as he's entering. Forest looks down at the bruised up asshole.

"What the fuck is going on?" He looks at Denny, then me. Roaming his eyes over to Lannie he sees her holding her jaw and crying. His eyes bulge and his face turns red. He rushes over to Lannie picks her and sits on the couch with her in his lap.

"Someone better start talking, NOW!" Forest screams at us. Denny slams the door and locks it. Takes a seat next to Forest. I'm still beside the flipped over chair, in shock. Our drinks are spilt all over the table.

Denny explains all about the mafia guy. What happened and how Lannie got hurt. Forest looks at me shooting daggers from his eyes. He's rubbing Lannies face. He has a tight grip on her.

"You ok flower?" She just nods her head and buries her head into Forest shoulder.

"I didn't mean to, I don't know even know how I did it?" I try to explain. I feel like shit. I hurt our girl. I hit our girl. I'm filled with guilt.

"Your elbow clocked her jaw while you were pulling back for another punch." Denny tells me and Forest. It was an accident but I'm filled with all types of remorse.

"I'm so sorry pippy, I didn't mean to. Please tell me your ok." I plead with her. She lifts her head off of Forest shoulder. She quit crying and I can see the mark staring to show on her jaw. I just want to cry.

"I'm ok, but damn Blue, you pack a hell of a punch!" Relief floods through me. We all half laugh. But guilt is eating me up.

"C'mere baby" I ask her with my arms held out. She gets up from Forest lap and comes to me. I wrap in her hug. Holding her tight. I kiss her forehead. I put my hand behind her head to bring her closer to me. She's to damn forgiving. I don't deserve her forgiveness. I don't deserve her.

"I am so sorry." I look down to her beautiful angelic face. She gives me a tender smile. "Let's get an ice pack for your jaw. Let me take care of you. It's the least I can do." She nods her head then kisses me. It's tender and soft but it's the best kiss in the world. It's full of love and forgiveness.

We head to the kitchen. I fix her an ice pack and place it on her jaw. She winces but smiles.

"It's ok Blue, it was an accident. Stop beating yourself up over it." She tells me. Her forgiveness makes me love her even more. How did I get so damn lucky?

We then hear banging on the door. Rodrick is yelling Lannie from the other side. This guy just won't quit. My nerves are shot. I'm on edge and heartbroken over what I just did to Lannie. I'm fed up!

I take off for door but Forest stops me before I get there.

"I got this. You take care of Lannie." He nods at Lannies direction. She's scared. I can't blame her. Forest is a force to be reckoned with. He doesn't play games.

Forest opens the door and there stands Rodrick; his face has bruises and he's bloody. Lannie passes by me headed for the door. I try to stop her but can't. She tries to push Forest aside but he doesn't budge. Looking down at her and smirking. She huffs turns to Rodrick and puts her finger in his chest, poking him.

"You! You leave right now! You've caused enough damage!" Our fierce little woman battling off against a man four times her size. I couldn't be more proud.

"I'm not going anywhere. I'm pressing charges against him," he points at me "you're going to jail!" Lannie looks at me and laughs. She turns back to Rodrick.

"You are not doing anything but leaving! Right now! Or I'll show your dad the security tapes of you and Thomas! Wouldn't he love to see those?" I have no idea what she's talking about but the dude looks like he's about to shit his pants.

"You wouldn't dare!"

"Try me! I've changed Rodrick and for the better. I'm not a slut! I love these guys and you are not going to hurt them. So leave or I will contact Joseph!" He looks at us and then back to her. Then suddenly just turns and leaves.

Our girl beat his ass with only using her words. She is a firecracker.

She turns to us smiling. Forest closes and locks the door. He looks down at her.

"Want to tell us what that was all about?" She looks up at Forest and shrugs her shoulders.

"I may or may not have recorded him and his boyfriend having sex. He didn't know I knew about it. If his dad found out he would disinherited him. They're filthy rich. Rodrick would be lost without his dads money." Well I'll be damned! She has a few tricks up her sleeve.

We look at each other and laugh.

It's been one hell of a day!
