"AI-10478 report to headquarters now," the voice rang out in my head.

I steered my spaceship away from my course and set off for the base station.

The spaceship stopped in the middle of the space. My engine was still on ignition but it was as if time had frozen around me.

The clock had stopped.

Suddenly a purple light tore through space hitting Vehicle-31, which was just in front of me.

In a second it disappeared.

I immediately picked up my communicator, and tried to contact AI-801 and Ava, the two people aboard.

There was only static at the other end.

Suddenly my spaceship was freed and it rushed forward.

I burst into the office of Commander Jorgan.

"AI-10478?" his voice was concerned, "What happened?"

I told him the happenings in brief.

He frowned, "Hmm, it's okay. Anything more you see just let me know... We'll send searching drones."

Leaving his office with a heavy heart, I returned to my battered spaceship, which hadn't been replaced in ages.

But I was definitely concerned. No ship had disappeared ever and the human space was safe.

As I had a delivery job, I knew every nook and corner of the still discovered space.

"Doc, just let them go," I told Dr. Xander, "How long will you experiment on them?"

"Shut up AI-10478!" he snapped, "I need to know more about this Purple Algae race from Wolf 1061. Their anatomy is same as ours, so I need to know what keeps them alive even in their toxic oceans. This will help humans."

"Doesn't mean you need to peel apart this creature, dissect it and leave it to die. Ever guessed what will happen if they start doing the same to you guys?" I asked.

"Get the shit out of here," he almost banged the door on my face.

I stormed off, boarded my ship and set out for an unknown destination.

The purple laser hit me a split second before I could realize it. All my systems were jammed and I saw a big spaceship engulf mine.

"Let me go," I screamed as they loaded my frozen form on a trolley.

They were the same ones, purplish skin, large eyes and short statute, the Purple Algae.

The conveyor took me through a huge tunnel where they scanned my system.

"AI-10478," a metallic voice rang out, "Cell 201."

And suddenly I was falling.

I landed in a dark cell.

"AI-10478, you're here?" the confused voice of AI-801 sounded.

"Where's Ava?" I enquired.

"Ava is dead," AI-801 whispered.

"How?" I couldn't believe it.

"They tried to experiment on her, just like humans did on their kin. Well guess every action has an equal and opposite reaction. They've captured before, they'll capture more spaceships. Our authorities are least bothered," AI-801 narrated without any emotion.

"And what do they do for robots like us?"

"They'll erase our memory, make us their slaves. They'll capture Earth soon."
