OML I love teaching the Quadrants! So some people were really confused, so here's a go-to type of thing.

There are 4 types of love (that I teach obsessively) and those 4 are: Matespritship, Moirallegence, Auspisticism, and Kissmesistude. The two Ms are Red Love, and focus more on positive emotions. The other two are Black Love, and focus on negative emotion. Matespritship is also called the Flushed Quadrant. Moirallegence is called the Pale Quadrant. Auspisticism is called the Ashen Quadrant. And Kismesissitude is called the Black or Caliginous Quadrant. They are interchangeable, so you can be Moirails with someone, and then suddenly be Auspitizing with them and another person.

Matespritship is the act of loving someone, be it sexually or in the weird was that I like people. Like as really good friends you want to cuddle with, and always want to be with. An example is: Garnet from SU. They love eachother so much, and always want to be together. It's often interchangeable with Kissmesistude. Kissmesistude is the act of loving hating someone. Like a volatile arch-rivalry. Although killing your Kismessis is looked down upon because you have to WILLINGLY stay together. A good example is Lapis Lazuli and Jasper from SU. Lapis hates Jasper because she wanted to hurt the earth and people she cared about, but also loved her because she could take out all her feelings for her as Malachite. Jasper hates Lapis because she's weak, only strong when she feels like it, or when Lapis is against Jasper. But Jasper also loves Lapis for the power they get when combined.

Moirallegence is when you keep people grounded. Emotional support. I guess a good example is Mabel and Dipper from GF. Mabel helps Dipper (and much to her dismay, he often brushes her off) when he feels kinda sad or doubts himself. Dipper often helps Mabel see the more rational side and makes sure she stays determined and focus. Auspisticism is when you moderate between two people and make sure they don't get into a full blown Calignous relationship. The threesome need to stay together very often, because without care the relationship will fall apart without it. A good example is probably Zoe and Kyle, with Theo Auspitizing between us. I argue with Kyle a lot because he can be very annoying, but he's a really good and cool guy at heart. Kyle often resents me because I always yell at him, or call him out. Theo is good friends with both of us and he cares for both of us. So he has to step in when I get to salty, or when Kyle is purposely setting me off. Theo is leaving for another school though, so we might get into a Calignous relationship, unless someone feels like Auspitizing us lmao.
