Whoever you wish as Percy Jackson

"If you expect me to be controlled, there's a safer way through hell for that."

Ever since he was five, all Percy remembered was staying in a rusty orphanage, with his younger twin brother. The air was dirty and he constantly coughed, the doors made creaking noises when opened. All the furniture was lopsided, and the iron was rusted. However, Percy's brother Theo managed to make it work. He was a miracle and always made things look welcoming. But Percy knew there was a day that wasn't going to work anymore.

They were eight when it happened. Percy couldn't remember much of the events that happened little afterwards, but he did remember Theo's painful screams that filled the air as Theo was struck with a bullet. Percy remembered the tears that dripped out of his eyes like a waterfall, the fear that clutched his chest, and how he had screamed his throat raw.

Arms had clutched his chest and tried to drag him away, but Percy refused to leave his twin's side. Fear and anger were raging through his chest, and he couldn't hide the tears that filled his eyes. He fought all he could against the person who was trying to drag him away, biting the guy, kicking everywhere he could. He started feeling his rage fade away into sadness, Percy felt his fear fade away as the realisation coursed through him.

All Percy's energy faded away, and he hung limply in the person's arms. Maybe he should have fought harder, then maybe he wouldn't have to do what he did, but Percy had made his choice.

He hadn't known at the time, what his destination was, but he did know that he was in a van with a guy with curly hair who looked guilty, something Percy was filled with because he wasn't able to save his baby brother. There were a few more kids too, who looked around his age.

Percy didn't know what those people who took him wanted. But maybe he didn't want to. In a month, the schedule seemed simple. Easy even to follow. Train till you feel like you could collapse on the spot, till your legs can barely hold your weight. Get a spare bite of food, sleep for a few hours restlessly, and then over and over again.

All he knew was that if he didn't learn how to fight, then everything would go wrong for him. Percy learned how to fight, his reflexes along with the curly-haired boy (whose name was Leo apparently) caught the owners' attention. Percy didn't know why. Sure, he and Leo seemed to have better reflexes, but he'd rather not have that attention.

That meant more fighting. They taught him how to use a knife, ruthlessly, he learnt where to hit to cause almost instant death. Leo was doing very well with his machines. Percy was starting to accept everything, knowing that he'd have to kill the people who fought against him. Every dead body sent a twinge of guilt through him, but now, it almost felt usual.

But then he and Leo had to fight. That was when Percy knew he'd have to lose. He couldn't let anything happen to Leo, who reminded Percy so much of Theo, yet was so different at the same time. Leo was close to Percy's heart, and he knew that if anything happened to Leo, Percy would be lost.

They fought, both not fighting to the fullest. Percy made a purpose slip up, and Leo seemed to get it. Suddenly, he smirked slightly, and bricks fell down. There was a large bang, screams mingled with shouts and a few kids crying. Leo dragged Percy along, and it seemed like they could escape. Three years with that hellhole and they could leave. It seemed too good to be true.

And it was. Leo's hand slipped from Percy's and Percy yelled at Leo to go. He wouldn't let his best friend (brother) stay here longer. Leo didn't move. Percy did what he could and pushed Leo forward, begging Leo to leave. The water seemed to sweep Leo away, and it was all Percy could do to not pass out on the spot.

Percy tried to run, making sure that Leo was far gone. But for Percy, it seemed like a second and the darkness swallowed his vision.

When he woke up, he was trained harder. He was given barely any food, he was made to kill more. Percy had to be perfect because now he knew what he was training for. Because that's what Percy was, an assassin, a spy. He lost people, he started closing off. The people he befriended were the ones he was forced to kill. He built up walls.

He'd started killing, around twelve years of age and all Percy could see now was the blood that dripped of from his victim's clothes. He was fifteen- almost sixteen and was sent to a school called Meriwether college prep, to find the truth of Calliope's parents, and then bring her to train as a spy.

Percy expected the mission to go as usual. He didn't expect to find Calliope, who didn't seem to know anything. The girl was nice but blunt. Percy didn't expect to be attacked by students, nor that his knives didn't seem to go through them. His guns didn't either until Percy got the idea to put the bullets in the person's mouth. It helped, a little, and then the girl Calliope made a pen a sword and a girl named Annabeth seemed to have a knife that went through the kids.

They dragged Percy along, who needed answers. And maybe, just maybe they were his chance to escape that place. So he went willingly, not arguing a little bit. Whatever he expected though, learning about demigods and that he was a son of Poseidon certainly wasn't there.

Additional notes.
-Hope you like the idea! Also, everyone had been aged up by two years.

-Percy's an assassin, he's trained since he was eight. Leo trained too, and he learnt about machines. They fought and Leo managed to escape. (another thing Leo will feel guilty about in the future- until the dramatic meet up)

-Percy's going to be cruel. He'll be cold and he won't be nice. People will think he's working for Kronos. And another flaw you can add to him (as a slight flaw- his fatal flaw will still be loyalty)
-Wrath
-Anger
-Curiosity

-The OC- calliope- her parent can be whoever. Maybe Demeter- that'd be cool. You can change her name as you see fit, and maybe she can be paired with Annabeth (most probably- they also have a lot in common)

-If you want to add more OCs- sure add them
Ps- if you want a major sub-plot that'll make stuff interesting
One option is- there's a god/goddess who can take people's powers (do a small search to see a god/goddess who you think could do that before you make up a god or goddess) and Kronos uses their help to drain people of powers.
That'll make an interesting fight. Very interesting. They are going to be hard to beat cuz- they can take people's power.

-Leo and Percy'll have such a nice tearful reunion.

-Okay, Perachel. I ship them, and I do know that at times, it seemed like Percy is more comfortable with Rachel.
So if you do want to ship him, it's going to be Rachel. She's free-spirited and will most likely be the one to actually help. Okay, so he's going to heal himself. He's not going to need someone to fix him, but he does need support.
The oracle of Delphi thing didn't make sense. But you can make it that there is another mortal, who's girly and badass, and has a more- cocky personality, but is nice too (if you want)
