Adonis Miller was never a demigod you thought of when thinking of a person with a good life. Ever since he was a child, he was never able to step on the ground, before crumpling to his knees. It was like his energy drained out of him, and the only thing keeping him from collapsing was his own willpower. His classmates had teased him constantly for walking on his toes, trying to avoid touching his feet to the ground as much as possible.

When he turned eight, his mother passed away. It was devastating. Adonis had always looked up to his mother, and when an earthquake came and killed her, he cried for days, emotions pouring out of him like a river. He'd even given up walking on his toes, letting the energy get sapped out of him. Adonis' mother had always told him that one day, his life could get sapped out of him, so he was careful. But when she died, what was the point of doing so?

Finally, he was sick of every single piece of energy being given out. He stumbled around, hardly being able to walk, He climbed trees and everything, making sure his feet just weren't on the ground. He travels into the Labyrinth (Adonis would still argue it was an accident) and starts understanding that the Greek myths were real.

He met a guy called Leo, but Adonis only knew Leo for a short period of time before his new friend was ripped away from him. Adonis kept to the Labyrinth, not wanting to meet any more humans. He started learning how everything worked, and picked up whatever stray knives he could find, to defend himself from those monsters.

Adonis didn't expect to meet any more people either. Especially on a day when he was pitifully collapsed on the floor, all the energy draining out of him. He was fading into dust, and that Adonis knew. HIs time was limited, but he wanted to end it in peace. Not with a bunch of demigods who decided it was a good idea to interrupt his alone time.

Okay so yes, this sounds confusing.
Let me just summarise it for you- this plot is pretty open-ended so you can do loads of stuff with it.

Adonis is the son of Hecate, and he's got plenty of powers. He's powerful, but he can barely use the power since whenever he touches the earth, all the power is drained into the earth.
Yup- that's what it is. Gaea is slowly absorbing all his powers when he's on the ground and uses it to start walking herself up. *cackles madly*Gaea was sure that when Adonis' mother died, he would give up everything. Even staying on the ground. So she caused that earthquake to kill his mother.He can either die or not die but it is mainly focused on the direction of his death. *shrugs* that's your choice.Yup the pairing is Leo Valdez. Both of them are going to be so damn angry at Gaea that it'll be cool.
