SUMMARY

Artemis Edgecombe was a Ravenclaw through and through. She had a curious fire in her, her eyes sparkled with excitement at the sight of a library. But that didn't mean she wasn't girly. She wasn't a tomboy but she certainly didn't need a prince charming. She'd wear high heels and torment a guy with lipstick.

That was Artemis' Gryffindor nature. She might have been a Raweclaw and took calculated risks, but when it came to a friend, she'd chuck that out the window and run straight into saving however she could. She'd had almost a normal life till she was in her third year. 

The day when she was going to Hogwarts again, Artemis entered a cabin where there was only one guy. She expected it to be peaceful until she saw the golden trio. They were the definition of trouble. she didn't exactly have anything against them but Artemis liked to stay out of trouble as much as possible. She'd met a lot of new people then. She met Neville. He seemed nice if just a tad bit shy.

Things were getting chaotic the moment she heard that Sirius black escaped Azkaban. She never feared for herself, it was not like she was endangered. But that thought went sideways as she realised that she had just started hanging out with the golden trio. She was in this mess and now there was no getting out.

He stared at her in betrayal and she hid her thin-veiled hurt. She couldn't and would not let it show. It hurt so badly to see the guy she'd loved looking at her in that but this was what she knew she had to do. It might cost both of them, but it could also cost the world. She sighed staring at him, unable to look him in the eyes, unable to face the things she had done. She knew she shouldn't have done it, but she couldn't stop testing herself more. 

He stared at her in betrayal, anger coursing through his veins. The girl he had once laughed with, the one who had increased his confidence and the one who'd made him fiercer. She'd done the thing he thought she would never do and he turned away- wishing things were different.
