I want to apologize for not updating yesterday. I had really a full day. School, singing lessons and then quickly transport myself to the courses at Prague's conservatory (I'm hoping to get there) . When I returned home, I had to send tree of my classmates a material from our music seminar because I'm always recording it and they asked me...and after all of this, I was just tired.

Now to this topic. Hee hee. I'm sure most of you noticed in. In most musicals, there are ships.

WHAT THE...?! Not these ships. Okay, old joke I know.
Ahem, Webber's musicals are not an exception. And I will tell you who are interested what do I personally ship.

1 ) Phantom of the Opera

Now, please don't kill me. I know you all love "Eristine " (how I hate this ship name ) . But seriously , Christine has chosen Raoul (I know I used LND picture, but take the original story now ). I think they're so sweet together, and I also think that her and Erik wouldn't be able to have a healthy relationship.
Just imagine two guys (or girls, whatever... and if guys, NOT Raoul and Erik, imagine someone else please) both want you. You know you like one of them more. So you end up together. But then there comes a band of girls shouting "You should have chosen the other one! " and then they start pretending that you're with the guy you didn't choose.
Okay, this was kinda rude. But what is also rude is when those teen girls are constantly hating on Raoul, and acting as if Erik / Christine was canon. (take out LND, please ) . What has Raoul ever done to them that they're so agressive towards him?
I actually prefer Erik / OC. Either my OC or a good OC. I'm not telling that my OC is good (If you want, I will describe her in one of the next chapters, but I don't want to force her here). I think that Erik needs a strong woman (psychollogically) . Yeah, Christine is a strong a brave girl, but not in a way I would imagine Erik's partner.
I also don't get the Erik / Meg ship. But I guess it dissapeared after LND came out. 😂

2)Cats
Compared to any other musical, Cats has definitely the biggest number of ships in it. Almost every character is shipped with another. .

Munkustrap/Demeter, definitely. When I started liking this musical, I used to ship Munkustrap/Grizabella, but now I know it doesn't make any sense.
Then Cassandra / Alonzo. I know a lot of people ship Alonzo with Jemima, but I think Lonz is way too flirtatious compared to Jem, who's still an innocent kitten.
Victoria / Plato. Sorry Mistoria shippers- I see them as siblings. And Vicky 's dance with Plato seems pretty much a mating dance. Duh.
Okay, now to this overpopular ship, Tuggoffelees. That means Misto with Tugger. I DON'T ship it. Reasons? Well... At first , the Rum Tum Tugger is a player. I simply can't imagine him being with just ONE CAT. At second... okay, you're going to think I'm a bully who doesn't believe in equality, but I simply don't ship gay ships. I also see these two as best friends. People are forgetting that a lot of interactions can mean both love AND friendship.
I actually ship Jemima/Mistoffelees.

WHY DO I LOVE THIS VIDEO SO MUCH? They're so innocent yet...
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHO SINGS THIS? Because it's not Sierra Boggess and Ramin Karimloo and that voice really fits Misto in my opinion.

3) Evita

I know you're now all like : "What the heck, this girl is crazy, there are not any ships in Evita!"
But the oppositte is true... only that not much people ship it.
If that picture didn't tell you already, I'm telling you now : I ship Eva/Ché.
And let me explain. I know that Eva Perón and Ché Guevara never met. But the guy that narrates Evita is NOT Ernesto Guevara. It's just some guy in the crowd that follows Eva everywhere, and just narrates her life. Plus, Ché was NOT Guevara ' s real name, just a nickname.
They needed a name for the narrator, because one of the songs these two characters sing together is called "Waltz for Eva and Ché". Just imagine it would be called "Waltz for Eva and the narrator". It would sound weird. And "Ché" means "Hey " or more like "Dude" or something like that. Good name for a random guy.
Reasons why do I ship it?
Firstly, in the movie (I haven't seen a live show unfortunately yet) they have this fiery chemistry. It's kinda funny how she has bigger chemistry with him than with her own husband. 😆
Secondly, I've read that in some productions, they used to date BEFORE all Eva's "magic drive" started, and Ché was still in love with her. So?
Finally, when I first saw the movie; during the wedding, there ' s a shapshot of Ché looking all sad as Eva and Juan walk to the car. When I first saw this, I was like -"Is he BROKENHEARTED or what?"
And before "On this night of a thousand stars", Ché sings and then looks up to the stairs where Eva runs down, smiling. It could look as if she's smiling at HIM.

I hope you don't think I'm crazy right now, heehee. Well you've thought it already, so nothing changes. 😁😂😅😆😇
