I have too many regrets when it comes to you.
I regret saying something.
I regret not speaking up.
The regrets build up constantly and it is a hurt beyond compare.
But that hurt is not something I'd ever give up,
Because that hurt is connected to my joy.
The joy that comes from loving you overpowers the hurt and always will.
The joy that swells my heart every time we text.
The joy overwhelms me when you smile and glance my way.
So I take the pain and regret because without the joy you bring me
I would implode.
My world would shatter and even more pain would flood into my life.
So I just let the pain go hand and hand and
Let my heart continue making the plans.
