Alright I agree, the title is really ironic, contradictory... (don't worry, I believe in the theory of creationism)

Anyways, I'll jump off to the reason then:)

Once upon a time (lol even now too!) , in the dry grasslands of Australia, there were many species of  plants. These plants had the uncanny capability of producing deadly poisons! Like for instance, fluoroacetate.

Why? For their protection from vicious herbivores that also include cute Grey kangaroos (thanks to Roo!;))

Naturally, the kangaroos would be affected after consuming the poison.
But slowly species like Grey kangaroos started to adapt  (scientifically speaking :they co evolved) thus resisting the effects of the poison.
Nowadays, Grey kangaroos can eat leaves 🍃 contains high level of toxicity!

The same idea applies to resistance of the pathogens and ineffectiveness of antibiotics.

If you fall sick today, could you be treated with Penicillin? Absolutely nope!

Now why am I taking y'all to a perhaps boring bio lesson?😁

The bottom line is this : (Even myself included) We need to be aware of the fact how the enemy in flesh is quite cunning and evermore sly. In our era, our enemies' ways of the carnal flesh is almost everywhere. Thus I will take this opportunity to reiterate the infamous quote or advice:

Strengthen our relationship with God

The good news is that we can cling to Jesus ever more! After all, Paul excellently tell us that nothing's gonna wreck us as we depend more on God ! Praise God! 

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?    Romans 8:35 NKJV

It also means that we need to be evermore alert as a fellow Christian soldier ...

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
2Pt 5:8 NKJV

So back to square one, strengthen our relationship with Jesus.

Most of us know how. Still I think 1 Thessalonians 5:16-22 would be helpful🤗

"Rejoice always,
Pray without ceasing,
In everything give thanks ; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Do not quench the Spirit.
Do not despise prophecies.
Test all things; hold fast what is good.
