Another rant because I'm PISSED!

Standardized testing. That's why I'm pissed. I hate standardized testing for many reasons (so many that I don't have the time nor energy to write every single one down, so I'll give you a few). The first reason is definitely anxiety. Standardized tests cause so much anxiety, and when you have an extreme fear of failure, they're the absolute worst things to ever exist. Standardized tests are pointless and counter-intuitive. They should not be a graduation requirement.

The reason I'm ranting about this today is because tomorrow I have to take one of my FSAs, which is my state's form of standardized testing. I am required to wake up before 7 am to go take a fucking state exam so that I graduate high school WHEN I ALREADY TAKE ENGLISH AND MATH AT THE COLLEGE LEVEL! I STOPPED TAKING HIGH SCHOOL ENGLISH AND MATH LAST YEAR BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO EASY! I obviously already exceed these 10th grade expectations! It is unfair and ridiculous to waste my time and state funding on a test that I'm guaranteed to pass. But I'm forced to take it, because if I don't, I don't graduate. I would take the GED test right now and pass it, except that once I have a high school diploma, I no longer get free college classes.

I fucking hate the school system, okay? It's unfair that my choices are take this dumb ass test that an 8th grader could pass and continue on the road to graduation, or don't take it and don't graduate.

Can I just be Einstein and not finish high school?
