It's been a while since I've done a family rant, so here, let me update you on the actual insanity that is my family. Previously on my insane life (for all you newcomers or those who forgot): My parents are divorced. My sister and I live with my mom. My brother and my dad live about 45 minutes away. 

Now for the new shit.

My dad kicked my brother out about 4 days ago. Changed the locks, everything. Legally, in the state of Florida, you can't just kick your kid out. You have to go to court and get them legally evicted. The police made sure my dad was aware of that. So what does my dad do? He calls up his lawyer and says he wants to go to court to kick my brother out. My brother has been living with us for the last few days, and in that time, my mom helped him get his social security, school and job set up so he can attempt to be a functioning member of society, even with his mental issues. However, my brother cannot legally live with my mom, my sister and I because my sister has battery charges against him. So, my mom goes to bring my brother back to my dad's, and she discovers the eviction notice on the door. She left my brother there, because she can't really take him back, and until the court actually evicts my brother, he is allowed to live there.

My mom and my sister are pissed at my dad, because they actually do care about him. I kind of saw this coming, honestly. My brother is 18 and my dad is sick of taking care of him, so it was to be expected. It's still a fucking heartless move, though. 

I just needed to rant. There will probably be more drama to come. There always is.
