She gasped as a sudden blast of frost air hit her back. She curled into herself, shivering slightly.

The cold would not let go.

Soon she was collapsed in a shivering heap of misery. The snow underneath her melted at her body heat. Snow fell lightly on top of her quivering body as loud and miserable sobs escaped her lips.

She couldn't do it anymore. She just wanted it all to stop.

But she couldn't give up just yet.
