Glistening droplets of water,
Descending from the sky,
Slicing through the air,
Wetting the Earths fair soil.

Glistening droplets of water,
Splashing the car windows,
Slipping down the glass,
As if they are  in a race.

Glistening drops of water,
Enveloping the black fabric,
Of a little girls umbrella,
Who jumps in many puddles.

Glistening drops of water,
A gift to plants abound,
As they soak it up greedily,
But drink ever so gratefully.

Glistening drops of water,
Falling from the sky,
Splashing us kindly,
A gift to the world.
