Results for the YA category are in and below! Before I get into it though, a little disclaimer: I am not providing feedback on the results (as was outlined in the Judging Criteria section that has been available since submissions opened). 

I do have some overarching feedback for this category largely because the scores ranged quite broadly in this section. Several books got marked down for their target audience due to containing mature content. As Wattpad guidelines state, mature stories are only made available for readers that are 17 and over. By having mature content, you have largely culled a large portion of your audience, being those aged 13-18. In no way do I recommend removing the flag of mature as this would go against Wattpad's guidelines, however, I do suggest two alternatives: restructure your story to age up characters into the New Adult category OR censor your content. There is a way to deal with sexual content or mature themes in a way that is appropriate for young readers.
