I woke up, nestled into Peeta. Glimpses of my dreams and Peeta fading away as I sat up. I got dressed, leaving Peeta to sleep a bit more because he looked tired. I headed upstairs and was greeted by Annie and Johanna. I glanced at Johanna, but sat down in between them and Annie pushed a plate with various breakfast foods on it.

"Morning Katniss!" Annie greeted cheerfully, already looking bright and awake even though I just woke up.

"Hey," Johana said less enthusiastically, but then again she was Johanna.

"So what are you guys talking about?" I asked.

"Oh, uh...nothing really," Annie said, and I glanced at her suspiciously.

"You're a terrible liar," I laughed.

"Whatever. It's not important anyway," She said. I knew she was still lying, but let it go.

"Soo... I have a boyfriend," Johanna said, changing the subject.

"Big surprise there," I muttered.

She rolled her eyes at me. "He's actually a good guy. Like seriously, Annie met him too and even she thinks he is," She said defensively.

I looked at Annie and she nodded. "Well, that's good I suppose," I said.

"Where's Finnick?" I asked, noticing that he wasn't with us.

"Oh I think he went to the store to get something," Annie said.

"Oh, okay," I replied.

We ate breakfast together, talking for a while before Peeta came up too.

"Hey guys," He said. "Why didn't you wake me up?" He said.

I laughed. "Because you looked tired! And also you were hugging your pillow and it was cute," I said with a playful smirk while Peeta shook his head with a smile.

"So. what should we do today?" Peeta asked us.

"Well, we actually have something planned," Annie said. "But we are not telling you!" She added when she saw that I was about to ask what it was.

"Why not?" I asked.

"Nope not answering questions!" She said grinning. I shook my head and laughed.

"Fine," I said. "Do you know what it is?" I asked Johanna.

"Yep," She answered with a smirk.

"Oh come on!" I exclaimed. "Will I get to know later?" I asked.

"Still not answering questions. But yes,"Annie said with a chuckle.

Well at least I got to find out what it was soon. "What should we do until the big 'Thing that we can't talk about'," I asked.

"We could go to the beach again?" Peeta suggested. I loved the beach, so I gladly agreed, and soon we were back on it's sandy shore with the waves pounding into the shore in front of us.

"Let's go!" Peeta said, clutching my hand tightly and racing into the water, the waves swirling around my legs.

I felt one of the babies kick lightly, and laughed. "What is it?" Peeta asked.

"The baby just kicked. Must like the ocean," I said.

Peeta smiled, bending down to my stomach, talking to our babies like he sometimes did. "Do you like the waves?" He asked quietly. "Hey, just wait until you can see everything out here. It's so pretty," He continued, smiling. He stood up and took my hand in his again.

"You're gonna be such a great dad," I said to him.

"Not as good as you'll be as their mom," He replied with a grin.

"Exactly. We're going to be such amazing parents they won't know what hit them," I joked.

We went out more, going further into the water. The waves were more gentle out here and calm. They lightly swayed back and forth like the ocean was trying to embrace us. I smiled at Peeta, glad that we were here and together.

"Hey, someday we should bring our girls to the beach," Peeta said happily.

"Yeah, they would probably love it," I replied. "You know, the way the sunlight hits the water kinda reminds me of your eyes. They are such a beautiful blue and have that glint of light in them too," I said.

"I know, I'm such a handsome guy aren't I?" He said jokingly.

"We should probably head back to the shore," I said when the waves started becoming a bit bigger.

After walking through the water and feeling the sand and seaweed brush over my feet, we got out of the water and sat down on the beach.

Finnick came over and stood next to us, his blond hair being swept around by the wind. "Hey guys! Annie said that we're going somewhere," He said with a wink. It occurred to me that the wink probably had something to do with this surprise going on.

Peeta and I stood up, curious to know what this was about. We followed Finnick over to Annie and Johanna. "So, is anyone going to tell us what's happening?" Peeta asked.

"Nope," Finnick said with a grin.

"C'mon let's go!"Annie said, pulling me and Johanna forward.

"Go where?" I questioned.

"Wouldn't you like to know?" Finnick joked and I groaned. I guess I was just going to have to wait and see.

Johanna, Annie, and I got in a car, leaving Peeta and Finnick to do whatever they wanted on the beach, and drove to a building.

The building had a sign on it that said 'Coral Springs' and had swirling blue lines beneath it, trying to look like the ocean I guess,

"Um, where are we?" I asked.

"We're at a spa! We are going to have a nice and relaxing day of....relaxation for your baby shower!"Annie said with a bright smile.

"Aww, you guys didn't have to do that for me," I said.

"Of course we did!"Annie exclaimed. "Also, hey we're getting a nice spa day too," She said with a laugh.

We entered the building and were greeted by a smiling woman behind a desk. "Hello!" She said cheerfully. "Welcome to Coral Springs! Would you like a massage, or manicure and pedicure, or you could also get both. You can also get a facial," She explained. I didn't understand half of what she said, but ended up getting a massage and my nails done. Johanna got a facial too I think, claiming that she needed the ''full spa experience".

After getting a massage, they brought me up to a large selection of different colors of nail polish. Back in Twelve, I never had a need to paint my nails, and buying the nail polish was a waste of money, but here I had so many options that I just couldn't say no.

After scanning through what seemed like hundreds of amazing colors, I decided on a shade of blue that reminded me of the ocean, and Peeta's eyes, making me happy whenever I looked at it.

When they were finished, I let them dry, and walked over to Annie and Johanna to see how they were doing.

They both also were having their nails done. Johanna had picked a dark red and Annie had a soft pastel purple color.

We exited the spa, and I felt a sharp pain pierce my stomach. I flinched and Annie noticed my pained expression.

"You okay?" She asked, concerned.

"Yeah, I think I'm fine. One of the babies just kicked really hard," I said.

"We should probably head back to the beach anyway and get Peeta and Finnick. Then we can go back to the house and do whatever." She said.

"You sure you're okay?" Johanna asked.

"Woah. Was that the Johanna Mason actually caring about another human?" I asked jokingly, dramatically gasping.

"Oh, shut up," She said glaring at me.

We arrived at the beach again and found Peeta and Finnick. They were in the water, but when they saw us they got out.

"Hey guys! How was it?" Finnick asked us.

"Fun!"Annie said. "We got our nails done too!" She said, and we showed them our nails.

"They look pretty!" Peeta said to me, kissing me on the cheek.

"Thanks!" I said. "So should we head back to the house?" I asked.

"Yep!"Annie said.

"Okay, let's go," Finnick said.

We walked back to the house and I flopped down onto the couch, tired from being out all day. "Do you want to do something?" Peeta asked.

"Ughhhh. No. Just want to sleep!" I groaned.

Peeta laughed. "You don't even want to give me a kiss?" He asked, leaning over the back of the couch to kiss me gently, his lips tracing mine.

"Mm okay, I accept that kissing you is better than sleeping," I smiled.

"Yes! I knew I would be victorious!" He laughed, kissing me once again before lying down next to me facing me. He brushed a stray piece of my hair behind my ear softly. "There, now I can see your beautiful face," He said quietly, and I fell asleep.
