Six Flags
Ok, you know that moment when you take a band or school trip to Six Flags? No, just me? Ok, well, hopefully this never happens to you, because it's rather terrifying. Story time! Gather 'round children, keep your hands to yourselves, and try not to kill each other. (I'm looking at you Gryffindors and Slytherins)
Anyway, we had just traveled for about seven hours on the activity bus to Dallas, Texas. That may not sound bad, but just imagine: 20 high schoolers, boys and girls, four adults (one of them driving the bus), and the band instructor's (who we will now call Mrs. Brady) two little boys.
I've heard that traveling long distances with your schoolmates will bring you closer together as friends, maybe even as a family. I'm here to tell you, first hand, that that is bull-shit. Pardon my French, but it's true. By the time we arrived at our hotel, everybody wanted to kill each other. So much for becoming a family.......
Back to the story, so we got sorted into our rooms, houses if you will, and I got put into a room with three girls who all actually have a Wattpad. Let's call them Alexia, Perla, and Madison. (Because those are their names.) So, we tramped up to our room and unpacked and such. Later, people went swimming and bought candy, bleh, bleh, bleh. (I don't say bleh, bleh, bleh) A few hours later, everyone was asleep and I had just drifted off. KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK!! I sat bolt upright and looked at the clock: 3:00 a.m. I thought I had imagined it, because no one else was awake, until someone knocked again. This time, I got up, went to the door and looked through the peephole. There was no one there. So I went back to sleep and nothing else happened that night.
The next morning, when I went down to breakfast, I looked around in the hallway, but there was no sign of what had happened last night. Naturally, I brushed it off, forgot all about it, and didn't tell Perla, Maddie, or Alexia. So then we left for Six Flags, had a blast, and came back to the hotel. People went swimming again, and more food was bought. Boys invaded our room after we went into theirs. Then, eventually, everyone was back in the right rooms and we had settled down to watch re-runs of Full House.
At one point, at about 12:00 a.m., I thought I heard someone knock on our door. I went over and looked through the peephole and saw a man in a black hoodie with the hood pulled up walking back and forth in front of our door. I guessed he had to be about 40 or so and I decided to tell my friends. Perla went over and looked through the peephole and she saw him too. Alexia wouldn't even look and Maddie slept through the whole thing.
Then, at 1:00 a.m., Perla called Mr. Brady. He came and looked around in our hallway and didn't see anything. Finally, we all fell asleep again. The next morning I woke up at 7:00 a.m. and got dressed and ready to go down to breakfast. I grabbed a key card and let everyone sleep for a while longer. I opened the door, believing the guy was gone. When my door shut, seconds after it did, I heard another open. I looked to my left and three doors down (no pun intended) I saw a black hoodie disappear back into the room. Hours later, we left and nothing like that has happened since.
=====================================
Yes, this is a true story. Yes, yes it was. And yes updates for all my other stories, including the one I'm co-writing, are about to be updated. I'm sorry it's taken so long. I've been busy, had writer's block, my cousin's were out, and now I'm sick. But it's summer so it shouldn't take this long anymore.
